That is called bad vodka. Good vodka doesn't have much of a flavor (bad vodka has that waxy flavor.) If you are drinking alcohol because it doesn't have flavor, maybe you need to re-think your reasons for drinking it. I would have to disagree on the first 2, but that third one I can't argue. Yea! It doesn't have that nasty 'rubbing alcohol' effect. I count that as a good thing. I have yet to find a Vodka worthy of shots. It's gotta be diluted in something that masks it first. But then Rev why do you show only 2 jumps in your profile? I know you've got more skydives than that. I do know some people who only hang out in the BASE forum that only show their BASE jumps. I don't know what to write to this, bud, I just don't know. Skydiving has brought my wife and I closer together, even though I can't get her to jump. I now bring her to Rantoul with me (she and my daughter were selling the t-shirts and stuff by manifest), and even (finally) got her on a plane for an observation ride. This was a HUGE improvement over recent feelings and words between us. I spent too much time at the DZ, and not enough with her. I could see that point, but it didn't take me long to realize that it wasn't the skydiving that was driving us apart, it was my job. That job was the same as the one you now have. If you people think skydivers have high divorce rates, maybe you should look at the rates of truck drivers. It's huge. Maybe, bud, it's not the jumping, it's the time in general. I know, you need to support a family, but there are other ways. Talk with her about it. If you were home more often, would that change her opinion of skydiving? If not, get to the root. You love skydiving, that much I know. Before you give it up (I'm not saying don't quit, I'm saying figure out for yourself exactly WHY you are quitting first), talk about it. If you are 'worried' about it running constantly, install the screensaver only. I do alot ofhouse calls around here, and the only stipulation (I do it for friends, for free) is that if I fix it, they MUST run my installed screensaver. It works, usually. Yea, basically most dealerships look at modded vehicles (lil' imports too) and don't even bother. If it was a trade, it goes to auction. ...and in Wisconsin, at least, the dealerships cannot legally sell a vehicle that was modified from stock. I see modified trades go in all the time, in mint condition. If the mods are easily reversed, they do it and re-sell. If they are major mods (like most lifts), the vehicle never even sees the lot. Straight off to auction they go. It's your life, live it!
