She graciously allowed us to plow up some of her dirt, bury some dead cows, and put up flags so we could be closer to our hangar. Here is a pretty damn good one. Student is technically a novice... just getting off of student status. He makes a jump and has a Cypres fire. He then is convincing enough that it might have actually been a misfire of some type, and after some briefing gets another rig for another jump and... you guessed it, another Cypres fire. He left the DZ that day pissed as hell because they wouldn't rent him another rig to make another jump! HA-HA-HA-HA-HA-HA-HA-HA!!!!! The real enlightenment would be to poll the people at Airtec and ask each one of them how much money it would take to get them to jump their product in this manner. Now THAT would tell the tale! I am pretty sure that Rob Morris at ASC has done either 30 or 31 in a day. Chuck I just checked their website. AWESOME video! I have a sit suit although I haven't used it for video work yet. I will, just haven't done it yet. I guess all these issues can be worked out with a LOT MORE jumps! Has anyone had any success sit flying in their camera wing suits? Not just on their back, but actually sit flying. I have tried a couple of times but no garbonzo beans yet. OK kiddies... I am not far from doing my 500th jump. I am soliciting any good ideas for a nice (and maybe unusual) jump to do on it... something that will make good video. I have some ideas but I thought I would tap the vast resources of the masses here! I am not positive but I think it will be out of a King Air, but possibly an Otter. One last note... I would like something with a good chance for success! Blue 111 and thanks in advance. All appropriate credit will be given for the "winning" dirt dive! I jump a 22, but mine is top mounted. A word of advice though- if you are going to side mount it, make absolutely sure you get the d-box (assuming you are going to use a d-box) that can be side mounted. I ordered a d-box, and when it came in it was only top mountable... good thing that is where I was going with it! There is another style d-box that can be mounted top or side. Same here. Premier can be a bear until you really pound the book on it a bit. I am using Studio 8 also and it is almost idiot proof with pretty damn good results. I have never seen any tandem videos that had any effects that I couldn't duplicate with Studio 8. I know this doesn't directly help you, but you sound like you are in the same frame of mind as me with the video, (not trying to make a living or get to Hollywood) so I'd definitely consider the 8. Wow... the point would be great! I have a friend who thePoint is her old haunt. However that particular weekend is the weekend of the boogie in Chester and I have some camera commitments.
