[stands on table] Last Christmas, I gave you my heart...but the very next day...you gave it away. Thhhiiiiisssss Yeeeaaarrr...to save me from tears...I'll give it to someone special (special)... Once bitten and twice shy I keep my distance But you still catch my eye Tell me baby Do you recognize me? Well It's been a year It doesn't surprise me I wrapped it up and sent it With a note saying "I love you" I meant it Now I know what a fool I've been But if you kissed me now I know you'd fool me again A crowded room Friends with tired eyes I'm hiding from you And your soul of ice My god I thought you were Someone to rely on Me? I guess I was a shoulder to cry on A face on a lover with a fire in his heart A man under cover but you tore me apart Now I've found a real love you'll never fool me again A face on a lover with a fire in his heart A man under cover boy you tore him apart Maybe next year I'll give it to someone I'll give it to someone special.

IMO... you define yourself by who you are. You are a mom; you are a wife; but you are also...you. You give a piece of yourself to your husband, your kids, etc...but you are still entitled to your own little piece for yourself...it is easy to see a different piece of yourself through past emails or posts because the internet, I believe, gives you the option of unabashedly being yourself...you don't have the normal insecurities of everyday face to face life. Also, it is easy to divulge more of the depths of your personality...ever think something and blurt it out faster than you can hear yourself say it and totally be shocked? By typing, you are transfering deeper thoughts. I think. Anyway, we get caught up in our "roles", but nothing deifnes you more than who you are at the core. Not what you do...IMO

the summers were absolutely breathtaking. I stood on that dock July4th and watched a spectacular show of fireworks...but there had to be at least 1000 boats in the water in the background, all quiet and dark except for little red and green alert lights. It was stunning. The sunsets were absolutely gorgeous; even better at my dz. I can only imagine what it was like to be on a load, but friends of mine would finish each day with a sunset swoop...

the contrast between our two little worlds is amazing...me being in the northeast and you being in the west...it was pretty cloudy all day with a few peaks of the sun. This is what remains of our snow and ice..

really! I think I knew that... ok, I am also a 3 on the high maintenace scale (which is low FYI) and I am "sweet and sexy"...aww...Dammit I hate being called cute!(see, there is my jalapeno coming out!!!) Sweet 'n' Sexy You're not overt about your sexuality, but you're not purposely hiding it either — two traits that naturally draw people to you. You possess an understated zest for life, and a way of approaching the day with a can-do attitude that draws people to you. As a teenager, were you maybe a little on the quiet side? Even if you weren't, it's clear that underneath your occasionally understated statements, you have an undeniable sweetness that attracts people who see that special something burning from within. Is it the way you carry yourself? That quiet sparkle in your eye? Those who know you intimately can't wait to uncover your sweetness. What's hiding behind that innocent smile? A little devil perhaps? A tattoo in a seductive spot saved only for your lover? Possibly, but you're so good, you'll never tell. Or will you?

So far I have found out I am a snugglebunny, I am jalapeno, and my aura is turquoise (even though I hate the color???) I'm not divulging what I was in my past life... Can one really be a turquoise jalapeno snugglebunny?? Mmm ... jalapeño! Spicy and energetic, you're everyone's favorite flavor on a Friday night. A little wild, a little dangerous, you add an edge to every occasion without going overboard. You're fiery, but not the four-alarm kind. That's because your exuberant sense of fun comes through in everything you do — you're always the life of the party. If you were a cocktail, you'd probably be a margarita — fun, festive, and popular. You make every occasion so memorable that no one ever stops to wonder whether you were there. Zesty and sizzling, you're a truly tasty treat. ____________ We don't need a psychic to tell us that you're giving off a Turquoise vibe. Turquoise types are often intelligent, energetic leaders. Vibrant and dynamic, you take center stage wherever you go; people are naturally drawn in by your charismatic nature. You love to learn, and you excel at remembering facts and figures. More than likely, you're a go-getter with your eyes on the prize. Respect and influence tend to come to you easily, but that doesn't mean you sit around waiting for them. What fun is achieving something if getting there isn't a challenge? Always pushing your limits, you'd be a natural on Survivor — a healthy competitive instinct and a willingness to take risks means you usually reach your goals. You like to look, feel, and act your best; if all those ducks are in a row, nothing's gonna get in your way. _____________________ http://www.emode.com/jumpto?test=passionogt http://www.emode.com/jumpto?test=flavor http://www.emode.com/jumpto?test=aura

hee hee...I guess I am "ready to be married" hmm...they say I am emotionally ready, but sexually? "You have very few sexually motivated reasons for avoiding marriage. Of course, the carefree single life can pose an attraction, but you mostly prefer the thought of devoting yourself to one person. It's true that there are a lot of unsolved mysteries out there, but once you've found the right person, it's time to close shop. Congratulations on having the strength and security to know what's right for you. " what does that mean? I answered the jell-o question as "gross!" *sigh* I guess I am just a romantic softyAny takers?? p.s. what does eating red meat and wearing braces have to do with my readiness to be married???

What the hell does skydiving have to do with it??? (Bad press)
skygal3 replied to ECVZZ's topic in The Bonfire
I totally agree with you and it was a stupid comment that I made in jest. By calling it bad press by highlighting "skydiver" they are also pulling a shot by saying "prostitute"...by saying prostitute it has more of an implication that she was in fact working. Prostitutes are raped everyday probably because of the fact that people see them as willing sex targets that one would less likely feel guilty about taking advantage of rather than any other non "working woman"...anyway...stepping away now... -

I'm not saying they don't have rights persay...but look at the facts...A prostitute sells sex for money..if this asshole who raped her walked up to her and asked to have rough sex with her for money, I can't imagine she would turn him down...it is what she does!!! On the other hand, by raping a prostitute, can't they also charge him with shoplifting?? -

true, but as with any occupation they draw the parallels..."school teacher arrested in connection in rape case"..."minister arrested in connection with rape case"...rarely though, if it is not an actual occupation, will they list it. "Wendy's employee arrested..." rarely happens. It could be seen as a compliment How do you rape a prostitute? By not paying her? I mean really now... edited to say, don't flame me...I am not trying to justify...just giving my 2 cents...(katie steps back slowly...) -
it is also a time of day and a dish detergent.

think about it...we need more girls where I started jumping...we have a great plane, great people, gorgeous views and besides, you can teach me to be a kick ass skychick...I am a lot of fun, I hold alcohol fairly well and I don't get distracted by stupid things like icky boys...
