  1. Well, if the pics are from another thread that they participated in freely, what's the harm. They posted pics there. And no one said anything bad about them in that thread OR here. I thought it was quite funny, And like Muenkel said, some people should NOT procreate. Honestly folks, you'd make ugly babies. Sorry for the digression .... go on back to being PC ... 'Shell
  2. I want to see him break down ALL the pics the same way and see how close to correct he is! 'Shell
  3. Well, that game degenerated into "well you said this in a previous post" quite quickly. Me ... I thought it was fun and made me go back and forth between avatars and people I knew to figure out what part was who. It was intended to be a game, after all. I don't think the intent was to "make fun" of anyone. And I'm sorry that someone was uncomfortable with their "parts" being used in the pics. I don't always agree with what people post. In fact, I'm pretty sure I've disagreed with Chelle on a few things. So be it. If I disagree with someone, I'll tell them that. That's part of being an adult. I don't have people fight my battles for me. Alas, there goes another post that was meant in fun to the recycle bin. 'Shell

    Recipe

Here's mine (sorry, I'm CANADIAN, so the comfort factor may be a bit different!) Classic Meat Loaf Recipe • 1 cup of finely chopped onion • 1 celery rib, chopped fine • 1 Tbsp minced garlic • 1 carrot, chopped fine • 1/2 cup of finely chopped scallion (can substitute onion) (I chop up the above in my handy dandy little food processor) • 2 Tbsp unsalted butter • 2 tsp salt (use 1 1/2 teas if using Italian sausage) • 1 1/2 tsp freshly ground pepper • 2 tsp Worscestershire sauce • 2/3 cup ketchup • 1 1/2 pounds of ground chuck • 3/4 pound of spicy ground pork sausage (or use Italian sausage - 1 sweet, 1 hot) (NOTE: many versions of meatloaf call for ground veal as well. Experiment with a third each of beef, pork, and veal.) • 1 cup fresh bread crumbs • 2 large eggs, beaten slightly • 1/3 cup minced fresh parsley leaves Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. In a large heavy skillet cook the onion, garlic, celery, carrot, and scallion in butter, over moderate heat, stirring, for about 5 minutes. Cover and stir occasionally until the carrots are tender, about 5 more minutes. Stir in salt and pepper, Worcestershire sauce, and 1/3 a cup of ketchup. Cook for 1 more minute. In a large bowl, combine the meats, eggs, bread crumbs, vegetables, and parsley. (I mix it all together with my hands - nice and gooey!) Form into a loaf and put into a retangular baking pan with 2 inch high sides. Cover loaf with remaining ketchup. Bake meat loaf in oven for 1 hour. Serves 4 to 6. 'Shell
  5. Found something that sounds like it here on pages 75 and 76. Not that being a Canadian store will help you any but now that you have potential a name for it ...
  6. Some "boobie thread". A grand total of 4 boobies posted, (or 5 if you include the damn bird). Cry baby. Here's half a set for you. Stop whining boys. You wonder why you don't get boobies. Kids .... fuckin' kids ... 'Shell

  11. It really depends which items you look at . Some, yes: they are inexpensive, look OK to good, but wont hold up very well. Others are made well, are a little more expensive, but still much cheaper then many stores. I have items from Ikea that didnt last a year (press wood, thin veneers). I have other items that have been moved accros continents 3 times now and are still in very good shape. It really depends... Bottom line: if you like their designs, you can find some good deal on good furniture, or you can buy semi disposable items if that's what you want for even less money. They're not just a furniture store either. I like their bed linens. The sheets are really soft and launder well. And at those prices, I can get lots of duvet covers and sheets and not have to be a slave to weekend laundry to get my bed made! Signed, the girl that just spent $164 at Ikea on, you guessed it - bed linens! Oh, and a couple of rugs and some curtain dividers to turn an unused empty area at the top of my stairs into a closet! Oh, and some nice smelling tealights! Yes, I love Ikea's stuff. And their $1 breakfast!!
  12. You do need a real tow vehicle Well, you gonna BUY me one ... that holds my dog ... and is, oh, a LOVELY shade of RED???? AND one that gets up the dusty hills to visit friends that look WAY over that lovely LP that we've come to love??? Somewhere that I've been with said Jeep that you might not know exists??? To get there, I don't need a "tow" vehicle ... I need a MAHONEY!!!
  13. Nope. Keepin' her. No matter what the fix ups cost. She's a good little (big) tent trailer. 4 beds and mine's a KING!! I have it all in there. A king, queen, double and a wee twin for the small folk. Or my dog.
  14. WOW! I should thank my lucky stars it was just a tree. And not what you went through.
  15. Say - what are you doing this weekend? Probably drowning my sorrows in Painted Turtle. And you?? And 'twardo .... you make me laugh. In a nervous kind of way. Wanna come to Texas? . Sure, send me a ticket. 'Shell

  17. Just for you, next spring, I'll spin the trailer around. Yeah, that won't be difficult. Does that make you a spinner? Don't be startin' rumours there, my dear ... 'Shell

  20. Thanks. At least you didn't say should have left it by the crooked gate. Your gate looked straight to me, but even if it WASN'T, it's more construction than *I* could do so I'm not pointing fingers!! IT WAS STRAIGHT, DAMMIT!!! THE TRAILER WAS TILTED!!
