My neighbour planted chocolate herbs in her garden. She keeps bringing them over. They smell SO yummy! I'm going to plant them next year! She has a lemon herb too. It's a hybrid. I think it's crossed with thyme ... really nice! And it thrives in shade and my front yard faces north. I'll try it next year (apprarently it keeps the mosquitoes away!) 'Shell 'Shell

Could be true. I don't drink pop but I do love my coffee (but only until 10am ... after that, it keeps me up at night). 'Shell 'Shell

Extra large double double ... Could be light and sweet but it's more mocha and semi-sweet 'Shell 'Shell

Actually, as full of shit Cocheese normally is; this is the correct answer. Chris Thanks for the reassurance! I'm going to try this now! 'Shell 'Shell

Thank you! I'll try that! I repotted them and thought that might take care of any "outside" problems. Thanks for saying litre too. I know that! Going to get the pail, soap and spray bottle now! 'Shell 'Shell

Nope. Thought about that too. Garbage was emptied today too. Just noticed them tonight. The only thing on my counter is a pepper mill, salt mill and a bottle of red wine. The pots are on my deck now but they won't last out there through the winter. I'd like to keep them but if I keep getting fruit flys, they'll be out there to die in the snow. Googled some stuff and apparently, basil is a natural fruit fly inhibitor! I have basil ... can't figure it out. 'Shell 'Shell

I started an herb garden outside this summer. Separate pots for rosemary, thyme, dill, chives and basil. All went well this summer. Had yummy fresh herbs. I decided to move them inside when it started getting cold a few weeks ago. I repotted them before I moved them in (fresh soil) and now, about 2 weeks later, I have a MAJOR fruit fly infestation in my house! Anyone have any ideas how to stop this! It's the only "live" stuff in my house so I know I'm not getting the fruit flys from another plant. I'd really like to keep it going over the winter but if I have to deal with fruit flys, I'll just let the plants die. I had them on a ledge on my deck all summer and I don't remember seeing any fruit flys all summer. 'Shell 'Shell

When I'm there for dinner, I'll decide ... Have you named them yet??? You should. My friend in Idaho named her's "Chuck" ... Sir Chuck Roast ... Charles when we felt a little "royal" ... She had a neighbour who named their calf Bob. They kept talking about a "Bob-e-que" ... 'Shell 'Shell

As a girl that grew up eating grain fed beef (and the best in the world, IMHO, despite the few "angry ones" that went south recently) I'd say grain fed all the way!!! WAY yummier!!! But that's just me!

I was kind of hoping you'd remind me ... I'll put it in my calendar ... to remind you AND to buy the bottle BEFORE I leave! 'Shell 'Shell

It's yummy. I cracked a bottle last night. Of course, it was GONE last night but it was a yummy little one. I haven't had the Carmenere in a while (hard to find here) but I'll to hunt it down again. I like it. Perhaps we should imbibe in a bottle or two in LP next year. I'll bring the Reserva (since it's easy for me to find) and you bring the Carmenere. 'Shell 'Shell

I either feel privileged or scared ... not sure which one ... Call me anyway. I'll figure it out then! 'Shell 'Shell

Santa Rita is my FAVE! Have you tried their Reserva ...WAY yummy! Lighter than than Camenere but flavourful. I love cheap Chilean wine. Cheap Argentinian is good too! 'Shell 'Shell

I'll be there. I love dead cow ... I grew up with grandparents owning a cattle and dairy farm. I got fresh beef, fresh cream and the best garden ever!!! Granted I had to hack the head off a chicken every now and then, but at least I didn't have to pluck it! YUMMY!! Call me when you're marinading!!! 'Shell 'Shell

Nope, not me. He claims it's a fanny pack, but I know better! But yeah, great pic! Love you Bill! Give Amy kisses for me! 'Shell 'Shell

It was fun Cocheese (who probably looks a lot like my doggie does in that last pic!) Throw my tickets back in the ring for another contest ... maybe do it on a Wednesday ... maybe a tan line contest ... 'Shell 'Shell

Now THAT'S just mean ... Oh, he has a cat ... he'd have to come too. 'Shell 'Shell

Since he asked for dinner, ask him what wine he likes! Get a few recommendations from him and then pick one for dinner and one for him to take home! 'Shell 'Shell

He might get angry ... He's like that. 'Shell 'Shell

You haven't met me, have you ...?? 'Shell 'Shell

Nah, that's just Mahoney being Mahoney. Apparently you don't know him that well. Maybe he'll chime in ... maybe not. And that's Mahoney too. 'Shell 'Shell
