Come north ... WAY north ... we get lots of it. If you know how to operate a snow shovel and a can plug in a block heater, I have a job for you. Oh, and you have to brush off my SUV and scrape the windows too. 'Shell 'Shell

I did ask him, is Rocky just a nickname? He said no his Mom always did have strange humor. Maybe she wanted a porn star son! Or an NBC host ... Let's give her the benefit of the doubt! 'Shell 'Shell

About 2 weeks ago. My dog gets cold. I keep my window in my bedroom open until the snow flies. Probably why I have to fire up the furnace for my dog. Getting below freezing at night now. (-1 or -2oC .. you get to figure out the conversion!) If it didn't get to -20 to -40oC here, I'd probably keep my window open year round. 'Shell 'Shell

That's either a porn star name, or an NBC Dateline name ... and now, here's Rocky Gravelly with the latest on affairs in the workplace 'Shell 'Shell

St. Mary Catholic High School, Edmonton, Alberta. Was in the last graduating class - and the 25th - out of there in 1984. They closed the school because they built a bigger one in a different area. The school remains there but it's now JH Picard, Elementary-Junior High. 'Shell 'Shell

Thanks. That's what DZ dot com is for. Honesty. Seen it here a lot. It's human nature to have an opinion. And I don't think anyone needs to apologize for the way they perceive things. That's what allows everyone else to see things from the "other side". There's always an opposing opinion. And, I hope, I would never belittle someone for having an opinion on something. Maybe I will, maybe I won't (I won't bet beer on that) but it's nice to have a place to voice them. Debate is good. But you're right. Micro still OWES the painting of the MOOBIES!! 'Shell

*cough* ahem... I'm sorry, but some recent comments come to mind... "I have to say, I'm pretty disappointed in the initial tone of your comments... Those women may not be "model" pretty, but they certainly should be commended for being comfortable in their own skin and not caring if others think they don't look perfect. We need more women like that on the world today. Confidence is sexy and so are the big smiles that they have on their faces." Remember that? Actually, as a woman that feels very comfortable in her own skin, I can see his side of the story too. You commented that the recent post was like watching a "train wreck". Most people use that term for something that's not that good. And then saying "suddenly, I feel attractive" ... well, I can see, after the reply he received for posting a similar picture, you could be construed as being hypocritical. I clicked around that website too and to be honest, while I'm comfortable in the way "I" look, I felt I looked WAY better compared to some of them. While I'd like to think I'm not judgemental, I guess I am. And I guess in some way, maybe everyone is. You judged him for posting and saying what he did but in the same vein, you just judged someone else by saying "suddenly I feel attractive". I don't think he took your comment was out of context at all. I think it was bang on. Just my 2 cents ... Canadian no less. About 1.8 in today's market. 'Shell 'Shell

Just the title and who's in it makes me want to record the damn thing (apparently an Oscar worthy comedy from 2003!) 'Shell

Yeah, it wasn't even a manly dog ... a rotti, now I could understand losing to a rotti but a pug ... named "Sassy" ... I have cats bigger than that! Kidding! Thanks for posting that. Though I watched it, your comments at the bar were the topper! Hope you enjoyed the martini! Didn't look like you did! 'Shell 'Shell

Work work and more work. I work in a Conference Centre in the University Residence. Got news on Friday afternoon about this (this is from Sunday's paper): Norwalk virus suspected in U of A outbreak EDMONTON - Twenty-five new cases of sick students were added to an outbreak at the University of Alberta's Lister Hall residence on Saturday, bringing the number of victims this month to 115. Had to relocate about 40 events booked into our Conference Centre. It was not fun (but definitely more fun than the afflicted students were having). Guess we'll see what tomorrow brings ...
