You have actually seen a person use food stamps? that's interesting, seeing how they haven't used stamps in almost 15 years. WIC is on the Demonte Brand and not on the store brand. WIC is plastered all over the store on products. Yes the woman hands the cashier her WIC card or what ever you call it and she paid $14 for $80 worth of groceries. The card you use (a credit card if you have one) you have to pay for the food--full price. Are you aware the Del Monte is also private label firm and corn in both cans are the same! Why are we allowing the person to have the more expensive corn when corn is corn. And what infant is eating can corn anyway? They don't even have teeth! That the mothers who supposedly needs food for an infant needs corn, potato chips and soda also WIC approved. Read all about the WIC here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/WIC Liberal idiots, just give them what they want and don't worry about what it cost. Perhaps they should be allowed to get caviar on the WIC at $88 an once. I gather babies could gum caviar a lot easier than corn and get more nutrition to boot. You line of thinking is foolish. Spending more when you really don't have too the reason we are heading to the fiscal cliff. Like a typical Republican, you can't make up your own facts. from your citation. No soda and potato chips, also no infants eating corn. Also WIC stands for Women, Infants & Children, If you were not so ignorant on the subject, you could perhaps make a case for how SNAP should be modeled more like WIC. The WIC card is on the self indicating Delmonte Corn is WIC. Forget the politics and lets juts talk money. So you promote the federal government should pay more in allowing the lady to have the Delmonte over the less expense store brand? Is this your position? Forget dem and rep. Just talk with you pocket book talking.

Just as certain twats love to portray Democrats and liberals as Commies, Republicans and conservatives' detractors often portray them as ignorant and cold-hearted. Are you trying to be a poster child for the type? So Andy, you think you, your taxes, should pay more for the corn when other less expensive corn is on the same self? The same corn just with different paper labels. Delmonte and Giant Food.

To tell you the truth, I hate "to be honest with you too.!

OK, No problem. I did read your prose version and the sound bite version and I'm torn between which one I like the most.

Yep, a party out of touch with their own party.

I buy grocery's. I'm behind the women paying for grocery's with her stamps. I see it. It's not a myth. Assuming you're referring to the plural "groceries" and the singular "woman", do you have the slightest idea what that womAn's personal and financial circumstances are? Or is that level of analysis just not something you do? Yes, I do. Seeing she is buying expensive corn with food stamps show me the gov't is totally out of control in letting that happen. Why do I have to buy the store brand product while the welfare lady get Del Monte. What brand do you buy? And are you on food stamps also? I don't give a hoot about her financial situation as I'm concerned about mine. If you are so concerned about others welfare then please send me a money order for the difference between the store brand and the Del Monte and we'll just call it even.

After we win this election it's our turn, it's payback time...
OHCHUTE replied to Anvilbrother's topic in Speakers Corner
People were definitely tired of Bush/Cheney and voted for Obama including those who voted for Bush. What no one through would happen was Obama acted more like Bush. LOL. He didn't end the wars but expanded them, and kept spending money. I'll say this again: we need a middle class party that works beyond this dem vs rep argument. -
Wrong, it's because those woman don't know their Founding Principles. This issue is easily resolved with the Constitution. Who owns your body after God, You or the government? Same exact issue with Marijuana... both are Limited Government issues. Wrong... we need the Constitution. R vs W... is right result, wrong reason. Correct, it's called Progressivism. Same cancer that has infected both parties. Study history, its called Human Nature... which the Constitution does the best job to prevent, instead of Crony Crap-itialism which we have currently. The Constitution has no classes, and Washington warned us about parties in his farewell address. We need, The Pursuit of Happiness. I smell a Randian. Am I close? I'm getting lost in who you are talking to. You're quoting multiple posters. For me (OHCHUTE) Atlas Shrugged was so horribly written I never got through the first chapter. I do believe in going after your goals even if there is conflict. Any business person knows that. There's all kinds of conflicts if your off your butt trying to make o of yourself. That is the reason many business people are in court due to conflicts. The welfare group are in court mainly because they've done something wrong. They get the benefit of having their lawyers paid for while the business person has legal bills. No I don't like have to pay 89 cents for store brand can of corn while the welfare person get Del Monte corn for free priced at $1.38 a can as they walk out to their Lexis after getting a nearly free bag of groceries. Should I fight to overcome that injustice or lay down.
-
Huh? The Founding Principle, IS: Where do your rights come from... God or government? If they come from God, as our documents say... Then who owns your body, after God? I'll give you a hint, its not the government. Then if the 12 year old girl who got pregnant out of rape prays to GOD she gets an abortion, along with her parents who pray also, then is it still your right to tell the girl she can't have the abortion by your law? I don't think so. The reason we lost this election is due to idiots who want to neb into other peoples business, cost us this election. GOP out of touch playing by a 50's rule book now that we're living in 2012. "Reverse R v W the battle cry of the GOP. Give me a break. Women have the right to consult with her medical provider and do what she damn well pleases with her body. One huge reason Romeny lost. But Romney had to appeal to the GOP leardership to get in the running with that crap. Sorry the coat hanger is long gone. And we're not going back there as much as many want us to return to the past.
-
Apparently white guys are not having their share of extra-marital affairs to learn from their girl friends they don't like white old men telling them what to do with their bodies. That women are tired of that, hence Obama got the woman vote. GOP needs to forget about Row v. Wade and move on. Bush allowed the latino to come in, so now they need deal with it by including them, not excluding them. Personally both REPs and DEms are the same. Both only concentrate on filling their own personal coffers via insider trading and off line deal making. We need a new party (middle class party) that only concentrates on the money. No social issues. Middle class is played as suckers by both these political parties, that we need our own party to put money in our pockets not pay for rich or poor welfare. Not excluding corp welfare. Middle class has more money and wealth than any group on earth yet have no representation. Suckers kept in an unwinnable argument dems vs rep, right where they want to keep us.

Lets not forget: you know what I mean, or do you know what I'm talking about, spoken when talking about it. There is probably a long list of expressions that can be talked about in the same light as at the end of the day. Wordy expressions that need not be expressed at all.
-
M=government. M will never die. Get back to us. Your impression of M and the relationship she had with her agents might change after seeing the flick.
-
Do you hate this expression? People have been using this expression for a few years now and I've come to actually loath it. Stating "At the end of the day," is supposedly a signal that anything that is subsequently said will be an earth shattering revelation. When most of the time anything said after this goofy expression is nothing more than a summation of what you've already learned from the person. Plus, it's more words than you need to say. "By Morning." might be a better expression as a lot can happen over night! Besides, many people like to "sleep on it" before any decision is reached! Why not: finally, to sum, consequently, as a result, perhaps, instead of god awful: at the end of the day? Finally, perhaps people will realize that saying: at the end of the day, as an expression, is something the world can do without.

I viewed all the videos in this series. Very good instruction techniques. Where is this in Greenburg?
-
The instructor let the student loose not having sufficient experience with go around proceedures, and applicable glide path training to avoid any obsticals including cars on the road intersecting the approach end of the runway. The FAA examiner will be reviewing the log book of the student in search of any applicable training received.

Forgot to mention the fight on top of the train is soooooooo over used, ducking the tunnel etc. Even though they came up with a new way to bridge the decoupling, still, well, boring. It's worth seeing but I don't believe this is a classic. Not enough sex, but then again hollywood is probably trying to figure out just what type of sex needs to be shown due to audience persuasions. Sex was always a huge part of I. Flemming novels. The one scene between the main character and the protagonist, both males, is surely suggestive of one type of sex play never shown before in a Bond film that I can remember. Man/girl play was horribly diminished from earlier versions. Still worth seeing on video but don't waste your time seeing it on the big screen. IF they would have taken it more to the comedic side, that they played with, the movie would have been much more of a hit IMHO.
-
Since you asked what I'd suggest is that you read/listen/think more and comment less. The size of the main you will first jump will actually be determined by the instructors at the DZ you go to, not the comments on dropzone.com. Really? The instructor at the DZ said he'd rent me a 230 for first jump, yet here I'm learning 230 might be too small. THE REASON I POSTED THE QUESTION. So comments on here could be a determing factor. I could demand use of larger chute. I'll ask you the question directly so that you might stay focused:what size chute do you recommend I jump FIRST considering you know my weight? I'm 6 ft? And you already know what the instructor at the DZ recommended? And the chart has been posted. #?
-
The biggest risk there was the leanout to get the model plane. The weight shift could have caused a problem. Ask me how know this.... Other than that every man has to know his limitations. Good eyes spotting that from the air.

Just saw the new James Bond movie. The color sucked. The editing was pretty good. There were a few lagging scenes but story line held your interest. From the rushes you thought there might have been some white/black love making but that never happened. You might have thought skydiving was involved from the title--not. Back comes the the PPK. I suppose S&W will sell many PPK's but the Polish P64 is much better, small and very accurate. The bad guy was hysterical and the most entertaining. Good flick worth watching but I'd wait for the video. The color on the big screen was just disappointing. OH they killed M off, and shot up Sean Connery's old car so I gather we're into a new era of Bond movies.
-
So you suggest that I not read, view, or discuss on a forum anything about skydiving whatsoever, yet wait till I get to the DZ to commence any learning about the sport? It's already been established here in this thread that I've learned not to buy any equipment until I've completed 30 jumps or so. I'm not getting this idea that you can't learn anything on the internet. If that is the case all newbies should be banned from this site. I think answering a newbies questions with bonified reliable information, as some have already done so is best. Not sure what you are offering here other than differences in how people choose to learn. If you have difficulty in learning things on the internet then that does not mean everyone else has that problem. I'm not going to buy a rig now, but if I would buy one, even before my first jump I'd buy a 260. I learned that right here. The question has been answered and it's time to move on. Have a great day.

First off, I wasn't frying fish. I had the SALMON steak out on the grill so I was broiling it. HA HA I always thought olive oil and dill was best solution, but AFTER READING THE INTERNET I discovered: Paprika, salt and pepper. NO OIL. WOW. So much better than Oil and dill. All learned from the internet. If you want to take the time to learn from what you read, take your salmon to the grill with paprika, salt and pepper and let me know what you think. HA.
-
You can learn a lot reading stuff on the Internet. Cetremie was nice enough to post a pdf indicating possible gear considerations. And based upon what I've learned by being on the Internet reading, I decided NO GEAR PURCHASING RIGHT NOW.
-
Just in case you didn't see that, OHCHUTE. who are you speaking to? I learned how to pack a chute on the internet. I learned how to take off the side view mirror of my mercedes from the internet. I learned how to make sticky buns off the internet. I learned how to fix the registry in my computer that allowed my cd drive to function from googling error 19! How hard can it be: jump out, pray, pull the rip cord and land. Go drink a beer! (I'm not discounting the value of getting valuable instruction from a qualified instructor but while I was waiting for my fish to fry I thought I'd type a few words.) I've abandoned buying equipment at this stage in case you didn't read that! I'll let you know what happened after I jumped provided I live to write about it. Blue Skys!
