Asking those who have used this or are using this software. When you add music can you fade the video sound and turn up the music and then fade the music out when needed.. Something like you can in Vegas and Imovie.... Just asking i can't afford the mac right know.

Is that program really close to Imovie. And is there anything wrong with Pinnacle Studio 9.
-
What program out there for the PC is as close as you can get to the imac's Imovie. I use vegas right now but want to know if there is any easier one that is as close as fast out there like the imacs imovie because i use that alot at the DZ. Is Pinnacle Studio 9 close to imovie or something else. I would like something easy and fast to use like imovie is and with the quality of imovie....

Where do you pick up that type of foam with the really sticky glue on the back. I have some foam but it is not all that sticky and falls off. Can you get that foam from your local hardware store.

thank all

You mean I have to turn on the camera by the switch and then shut it off by the cam-eye for this to work right. Then I will be able to shut it off and on by the button
-
I have the first cam-eye the original. I also have it pluged in to a PC109.
-
Has anyone had problems with their cam-eye? I can't get it to turn on the camera and make it stay on. I press the red button the camera turns on and then shuts off. The cam-eye will turn it from record to standby. It also lights up all the colors in my eye that it should.. Maybe i am doing it wrong. Let me know if you have had problems like this ..
-
Does anyone have a picture of where they placed the foam inside the box or the best position to place the foam so the pc109 will not move..

At this company you have to buy things seperatly. That is the price for the body only. You pay for the battery, charger, and lens. All sepreate making it the same or even more in price. Once you buy the camera they will ask you to call and confirm, then a salesman will talk to you to get you to buy all the seperate parts of this camera. Your best bet is to buy the camera at the retail value and from a respectible store.

You still have to render it before you can transfer it to VHS or into mpeg2 format for DVD's. And on my computer that takes a bit longer then the imac. But i still like it just wish i could cut the rendering time way down.
-
I use vegas and have been for a while. I like it better then any of the others out there besides the imovie and still wish that imoive could be intergrated with the pc. But vegas is a really good editing software also it just takes a bit more use to understand it. The only thing i have trouble with is the rendering on my computer takes a bit longer then the imac's imovie does which i don't like.

I have found where i cn get this Opteka 19-35mm f/3.5-4.5 III MC AF Wide Angle Lens. Will this be wide enough or would it not be wide enough for jumping. I can't find a 14 or 15 for a decent price.
-
I just got out my camera and was using the the AV mode but it seems that the shutter fires faster in TV the in the AV mode. If this is the case then I will get less amount of pictures per jump. Am i right and if thats the case you will get a blurr in the picture then. Let me know if I am doing this wrong or what.

Not trying to sound made but I just would like a little help from some other that had been jumping and working with cameras for a long time. I don't need a bunch of crap about I should know this, I should know that. Not everybody knows everythnig and needs a little help every now and then. I was doing fine on a 35mm camera but those setting are not working with this camera i have know. All i want is some help on maybe if anybody else has had this problem and maybe could help. I know some of the people on this forum helps people but some just hackle on people who ask questions. What lenses are you using and what settings are you using? Just help don't hackle me. THanks sorry if i have affended anybody!!!!!!

I know that we have talked about this subject over and over agian but I am still haveing a little trouble with the camera. I use a Zenitar Fisheye lens for shooting. Heres the problem the settings you guys are giving on the settings thread are not working with my 300D. The lens I use has a dial that darkens the lens or lighten the lens. Basicly a build in light filter. I usually set the camera to TV and use 320 or 500 and set the ISO to 200.I also have the white balance set to the little sunny item. But in order to have the pictures come out without having it really bright I have to use the Dial on the lens and darken it. Then as the sunsets throughout the day i have to keep truning the dial on the lens to lighten it up, testing to see if it will shoot decent pictures before getting on the plane to jump. At the time of the day the last jump when the sun is just about to set under the horizon the lens is set as far as it will go to lighten the pictures, the pictures still are really dark. So then i have to mess with the settings on the camera. Making more work for me. I have read the canon manual but I still need a little work. Let me know if anyone can "HELP ME".

Need some advice on mounting a d-box
aerialcameraman replied to aerialcameraman's topic in Photography and Video
Is that what you did. I have some worries about that due to it already sit's the camera up high and putting a quick release under it would sit it up higher. -

are you talking about the ones that are in the side of the d-box. DId your d-box come with the foam on the bottom all ready in place, because mine did. Plus i already have holes drilled from the other camera and hope to use those so i don't have to drill out more. -

Hey I got a pc-109 and a d-box for the top of my flat-top pro but I need some help. What is the best why do mount it? Did you run only one screw throught the d-box and the helment or two so it will not turn on top of the helment. Also did you run the screw from inside the d-box down and nut it inside the helment or did you run the screw from inside the helment to inside the d-box. Please help perferable from some one with this type of setup already. Lew help a friend from Richmond. THANKS -
What is the best way to clean a digital rebel and how do you guys usually do it? I talked to a camera shop and all he told me to do was to buy a can of air and hold it back away from the camera and spray holding the camera upside down. But I'm not sure about that? Whats your ideas?
