How about when they've definitively proved where and when they were born? Is continuing to imply that they are a foreigner a personal attack? You didn't answer my first question. What attacks on the Romney have you found disgusting? I still haven't seen proof of where and when Obama was born. As I said, attributing motives to someone can be an attack. How many people have you heard saying that Romney doesn't care about people? He simply has a different philosophy on how to help them. If some old guy can do it then obviously it can't be very extreme. Otherwise he'd already be dead. Bruce McConkey 'I thought we were gonna die, and I couldn't think of anyone

Which personal attacks on Romney and his wife are you talking about? Are you equally disgusted by personal attacks on Barack and Michelle Obama? Attacks on Michelle, yes I am. However, when someone's bio on their own memoir states they're born in another country, and his grandmother also states he's born in another country, I don't think asking him to prove where he was born is an attack. I do know where Romney was born, where his father worked, what he did. Discussing what someone has done/not done is not an attack. Attributing motives to that may be an attack. It is not an attack to call Obama incompetent because of the fact that he has not done what he promised to do. If some old guy can do it then obviously it can't be very extreme. I guess it swayed a lot of people.... http://www.people-press.org/2012/10/08/romneys-strong-debate-performance-erases-obamas-lead/ The reason... Obama has done NOTHING but attack Romney and the people saw for the first time that the attack adds are just that.... Romney has been attacked on a personal level that has disgusted me and many others. Now Obama has a choice and it seems like he is going to make the wrong one and double down on that strategy. It will hurt him even more but then again... what else can he say? "Just give me four more years and I promise it will get better. I know I said that the first time but I'm serious this time." Not only has Romney been attacked but even Romney's WIFE has been attacked -- and that is just disgusting. If some old guy can do it then obviously it can't be very extreme. How about those who have made up their minds before the debates even started? Additionally, I can see what I see from one debate. We haven’t seen the President off the cuff like this since prior debates. This is the first time in four years people got to see him. And what did they see? _______________________________________________ I'll expand that even more -- I believe that the president's reaction after the recent attacks on the ambassador in Libya (to go on a round of tv interviews and campaigning) is another view of the president's reacting to situations without a script (and misreading them) and shows a real lack of any sort of tactical thinking. If some old guy can do it then obviously it can't be very extreme. Otherwise he'd already be dead. Bruce McConkey 'I thought we were gonna die, and I couldn't think of anyone

And you as well. Hope things work out well for your family and they all find the employment they're looking for. Don I don't really think he ever said anyone in his immediate family was looking for work -- they mostly seem to be employed teachers already... pretty one-sided view. We have universal health-care here in ontario, too (supposedly). basically mean everyone has the right to wait for health care. What did that get my mother? Well, they diverted the ambulance she was in to pick up someone else rather than call for a second ambulance to handle that call, and my mother died before reaching the hospital. Many many people here can't get a family doctor because the gov't won't pay enuf to attract them. And trying to get in to see a specialist, well, if you have 6 or 8 months to wait, you may get in... Of course that'll get better now (not) because the gov'ts just announced they're cutting the fees they'll pay to doctors by, in some instances, 30 percent or more. Meanwhile, drugs aren't covered; dental's not covered; physiotherapy's not covered; eye examinations aren't covered. And yet this is a better system? There are all different kinds of health care systems, but not all universal systems work. Even the UK has their state-run system, and a private system as well. I think you should look around at more systems before telling someone in another country what they need. If some old guy can do it then obviously it can't be very extreme. seems to me Peter the next paragraph states pretty specifically that adding a service life in the manual is NOT binding -- it would have to be in a service bulletin and airworthiness directive through the FAA If some old guy can do it then obviously it can't be very extreme. Sounds wonderful! Great way to increase tourism dollars, which provides - how much of Greece's economy? If some old guy can do it then obviously it can't be very extreme. Otherwise he'd already be dead. Bruce McConkey 'I thought we were gonna die, and I couldn't think of anyone

You missed a few. Strange. I don't think he was making an all inclusive list, which would be quite long, but even on a short list you probably need to include; Big religion and big homeless industry and big welfare industry If some old guy can do it then obviously it can't be very extreme. of course that was before the rest of canada announced that they were no longer going to make transfer payments to quebec as a 'have not' province, since the fact they have obviously subsidized several programs way more than they could realistically afford based on their own economic activity and taxes must mean that they are in reality way better off then the rest of canada to begin with.... actually in certain circles, Edison, Ford, the wright brothers and all those guys get a lot of flack for NOT having invented things, but by either buying or stealing the rights, shutting down competition and basically bleeding everyone dry to become 'super men' of finance. Wrong. in canada all non life threatening medical needs for non citizens must be paid at time of service. That's not true -- even refugee claimants awaiting hearings are eligible, even though it can take years before their cases are decided... In fact, they may get better treatment than citizens.... Your argument implies that immigrants are the main cause of the high number of uninsured people, and the high per capita cost of health care. Do you have any evidence to support this? Canada has a higher immigration rate than the US, and if you've been there in the last 20 years you will have observed that the population is much more diverse than the US. Somehow they have managed to ensure that everyone is covered, and by every measure of performance (lifespan, infant mortality, 5-year survival rate after cancer/heart attack, etc) the Canadian health care system performs at least as well as the US, and for less cost. Don again, see my post above. the canadian health care system killed my mother by lack of funds for timely care. The system here means people die waiting to even see a specialist six months down the road.... If some old guy can do it then obviously it can't be very extreme. Otherwise he'd already be dead. I thought six million people who are able to afford insurance but don't buy it will be the ones fined, Now they can't be deadbeats. Until 911 ask for a credit card number before they roll any help, and we both know that's never going to happen, people need to be responsible. The young have also seen a record rise in the number insured thanks to the affordable care act, and the sky has still not fallen. You need not look any further than every other industrialized western country in the world that does it at a fraction of their GDP compared to the US. Well, the gov't healthcare up here in Ontario, Canada didn't do much for my mother. As far as I'm concerned she died because the gov't can't afford to give anyone up here good, timely healthcare, and refuses to let us buy our own in the country (we have to go outside the country to get it). If some old guy can do it then obviously it can't be very extreme. Otherwise he'd already be dead. Bruce McConkey 'I thought we were gonna die, and I couldn't think of anyone

The racial demographics regarding serial killers are often subject to debate. Compared to the United States and South Africa, Australia has a much lower incidence of known serial murders.[12] In the United States, the majority of reported and investigated serial killers are white males, from a lower-to-middle-class background, usually in their late twenties to early thirties.[6][13][14] However, there are African American, Asian, and Hispanic (of any race) serial killers as well, and, according to the FBI, based on percentages of the U.S. population, whites are not more likely than other races to be serial killers.[14] Criminal profiler Pat Brown says serial killers are usually reported as white because the media typically focuses on "All-American" white and pretty female victims who were the targets of white male offenders, that crimes among minority offenders in urban communities, where crime rates are higher, are under-investigated, and that minority serial killers likely exist at the same ratios as white serial killers for the population. She believes that the "serial killers are always white" myth might have become "truth" in some research fields due to the over-reporting of white serial killers in the media.[13] Photo of Francisco de Assis Pereira, Brazilian serial killer Some authors state that African American serial killers are as prevalent, or more so, in proportion to the African American population. According to some sources, the percentage of serial killers who are African American is estimated to be between 13 and 22 percent.[15][16] Another study has shown that 16 percent of serial killers are African American, what author Maurice Godwin describes as a "sizeable portion".[17] Anthony Walsh writes, "While it is true that most serial killers are white males, white (Anglo) males are actually slightly underrepresented in the serial killer ranks in terms of their proportion of the general male population" and that "[w]hatever the true proportion of black serial killers in the United States is or has been, it is greater than the proportion of African Americans in the general population."[18] Other reports show about 80% of serial killers being identified as white, placing nonwhite serial killers as accounting for less than 20% of serial killers.[19] While it is not conclusively known if black Americans are statistically less or more likely to be serial killers, reasons for under or overreporting of black serial killers could be due to racial profiling, the same factor that could account for the popular perception or reporting of serial killers as uniformly white.[19] Popular racial stereotypes about the lower intelligence of African-Americans, and the stereotype of a serial killer as a white male with "bodies stacked up in the basement and strewn all over the countryside" may explain the media focus on serial killers that are white and the failure to adequately report on those that are black.[20] If some old guy can do it then obviously it can't be very extreme. why do you keep talking about evolution? I thought we were talking about climate change and global warming? And to tell the truth, I really thought the big deal about the climate change controversy was how major or minor it is on a universal scale, how to deal with it, and whether it is worth major or minor changes in our economy, not whether it was happening. Unfortunately this seems to be an attitude that is all to prevalent among the left. I really don't know what could ever be done to bring about peace. I have no problem at all if the people on the left want to live their own way -- I DO have a problem that they insist the people on the right live their way too... That, of course, is an opinion and not a fact, and not all of the evidence is available to us. It's an opinion shared by Alan Dershowitz. And with the discovery process requiring release of evidence to the defense (meanwhile leaking anything damaging to Zimmerman it left and right to the press), it's unlikely something dramatically different will come along. The trial will confirm this, as well as that this should never have gone to trial. Zimmerman will be out 6 to 7 figures...or more accurately, those willing to donate will be. Money that could have been better spent on just about anything, be it children or hookers. Maybe Dershowitz can decide all cases, since you think he is omniscient on matters of guilt or innocence. That's the ticket - one "decider" would save us all a lot of money. let's face it, even if it goes to trial and he is found not guilty by a jury, you're going to say it was an abuse of justice, and he should have gone to jail anyways because TM is dead, no matter what.... Like Phil, it could be one the 3 base jumps I did from the New River Gorge Bridge in 1984, after over 1000 skydives where it was drilled into you to be open above 1200 feet or so. Skydiving, could be the canopy wrap at the Nationals in Red Deer, Two guys had cut away already, leaving two of us in some sort of weird dance, but I had lines all over I couldn't get out of. I was looking at the ground thinking I probably wouldn't die but would be busted up pretty bad, when the last guy did cutaway and open his reserve. Once he was gone his canopy pulled free of mine, and I managed to land the main in a farm yard using my risers to flare (still had a canopy wrapped around the lines/risers above me). The National Rifle Association of the United Kingdom was founded in 1859 (twelve years before the NRA in the US). It was granted a charter of incorporation by Queen Victoria in 1890. They're NOT the same organization as the NRA in the United States, are not related to them, and they are the governing body of pistol and rifle shooting sports in the UK. Two countries just happen to have "National" rifle associations. The GB Olympic shooting team have to practice somewhere in Europe because they're not allowed to keep the weapons in the UK. We've pretty much not had any pistol shooting in the UK since the Dunblane shootings. That is a big loss for the people of great britain. The gist of it all is that legal prostitution increases crime, legal prostitutes are raped more, have more mental health issues (ptsd, suicide, etc), are still exploited, are still forced into prostituting (4 out of 5 women in legal brothels want out), so on and so forth. _________________________________________________ Well, when I worked shift work in a factory for 13 years, I think about 4 out of 5 of my coworkers wanted out, too, so that statistic doesn't impress me much. Some quit and went elsewhere, others stayed for the money. We also had our share of mental health issues, and some suicides. Again, if it's legal, they have an avenue to get help they didn't have before.... If some old guy can do it then obviously it can't be very extreme. Otherwise he'd already be dead.
