That Max X show is great, but there is something that you have to realize. These shows, while great for visual entertaiment, are full of bullshit audio commentary that just makes it that much more interesting. Really, dont believe half the crap those moron commentators say. On the other hand, if you attack or attempt to harm a police dog you will suffer legal penalties just as if you attacted a human P.O. All K-9's are full peace officers, with their own badge number. The rules are simple, you will be warned to surrender or whatever several times before a K-9 is sent in. If you fail to do what the cops say and they have warned you that they will send in the dog you deserve what you get. To beat up on the dog is not self defense. Lets say you have a gun in your hand while you are walking down the street. You are not pointing it at anyone, but it is illegal nevertheless. So the cops come, and one approaches you with his gun drawn and pointing at you and tells you to drop your weapon and lie down. If you raise your gun up you are going to get shot and most likely killed. Can youf claim self defense for this? Hell no. You were breaking the law in the first place and to say that beating, stabbing, shooting, kicking or any other wanton malice on a police dog is self-defense is just plain stupid. I am a huge dog lover, and as fucked up as this might sound, the purposeful killing of a police dog just to defeat capture is more malicious than the killing of a human.

I have been jumping since May of this year. Though that is not long compared to most here, me only having 38 jumps, I can tell you that you are "screwed" now. Thats in a good way. I cannot stop dreaming, thinking, talking, living, buying, pining, and bugging the heck outta my wife about skydiving. I think that it's safe to say that it is an addiction. I'm 31 and I have done a fair share of dangerous sports, and this one is by far the most spiritual and exhilerating (spelling) that I have ever encountered. I have vivid dreams of flying and such, even malfunctions that I deal with in my dreams. This sport, if you can call it that since I think of it more like a personality trait or a lifestyle, will change your life. Petty things in life are all of a sudden not petty anymore. You will feel sorry for all the whuffos out there and realize that they will never understand who you have become within yourself. Dont even try to make others understand, it is not possible. Skydiving will change your life. Embrace it.

My dogs: Hold pill in hand and act like you have something really yummy in hand by waving it back and forth in front of dogs face. Toss pill in air and watch the dog catch, eat, and swallow the pill before he figures out that he just got duped. I think that this thread has lost its purpose,which was questioned in the first place. What I perceived the purpose of this thread was to show indisputable fact that if you jump while high, no matter what the drug of choice (legal or not), it affects your judgement. The use of drugs and its moral and ethical issue and the screening of them really isnt what was posted. There is no right or wrong answer on these topics since opinions are like assholes, everyone's got one, and they all stink. Bottom line....if you use any substance that alters your state of mind or judgement and you decide to go jump.....you are a frigging idiot. Natural selection will likely weed you out, while that is unfortunate, what else can you expect when you combine such activites. What is not ok is that you might just take one of us out with you. I saw this post's intention, while possibly post in the wrong forum, as a wake up call for those who have not seen or heard of a skydiving death that was drug related. A wake up call for either themselves or the option to try to prevent others from partaking in such activites at their personal DZ. P.S. Who would want to be high during the jump anyways. What a perfectly good way to fuck up an experience that rivals none on earth, or off for that matter. Christoofa

The people that think like this are so extreme that it is my opinion that they are close to exile from the USA. What should they care anyway? They apparently hate their own country in the first place, that is if they are even born here in the first place. Why couldn't these people been in the Twin Towers? OR better yet, have 242 of their brothers killed like I did on that day. Im sure their fucked up beliefs would be different then. this camera is so small. i know there are no mounts for this particaular camera but i could make one. a tandem camera guy at my dz says it ought to be a great camera for the funjumper. does anyone have any opinion on this thing? i'm interested in using for funjumps and later doing tandems and other such filming. thanks for your input.

Those are frigging great pics. Especially the "Someone likes this" pic. Great camera angle with the horizon at an angle with the plane in the background. I am sure we all would love to see some of your video work. As for me, I got schiznatted out of jumping this weekend. Frigging rained Sun and Mon. Needless to say, I'm irritating my wife and all others around me.

i have finally decided on buying a pc9, and have been looking for the best prices on the net. the best so far i've found is on royalcamera.com for $888.00. the accessories are pricey but the camera seems to be priced right. does anyone have any other suggestions?
