Press charges. I know its a "IF"... But what if that pencil took your eye out? Problem kids need to know that actions have reactions and that there are consequences to be paid. ChileRelleno-Rodriguez Bro#414 Hellfish#511,MuffBro#3532,AnvilBro#9, D24868

What did you feel like on your first solo?
ChileRelleno replied to SDiver218's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
All my jumps 1-9 were solo, I went thru a static line progression method. Now ask me about my first jump off student status... I was ecstatic, barrelrolling, front/backflipping, spinning and diving all over the sky! ChileRelleno-Rodriguez Bro#414 Hellfish#511,MuffBro#3532,AnvilBro#9, D24868 -
Chronologically 35 years of age but if you ask my wife it'll be more like 21. ChileRelleno-Rodriguez Bro#414 Hellfish#511,MuffBro#3532,AnvilBro#9, D24868

ChileRelleno replied to Viking's topic in The Bonfire
2-3 lbs of chopped clams (fresh raw) 6 cups of diced potatoes 4cups chopped onion 2 tblspns minced garlic 1lb of butter (to taste) 1 gal cream 1 gal whole milk salt/pepper (to taste) saffron (optional) Thickener- flour or ect... partially cook diced potatoes lightly sautee clams, onion and garlic combine cream, milk, and butter in a large stock pot, slowly bring to simmer. add potatoes and simmer till tender. add clams, onion and garlic simmer for 1/2 hr. thicken to desired consistency and season with salt/pepper to taste. now here's my kicker, season with saffron to taste! (very exspensive but damn well worth it) ChileRelleno-Rodriguez Bro#414 Hellfish#511,MuffBro#3532,AnvilBro#9, D24868 -

how is skydiving not unlike being addicted to crack?

What Jump Did The Nerves Go Away
ChileRelleno replied to Kramer's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
Kramer, the only time I really had a case of nerves was my first jump after breaking my leg, jump#291. I was dang nervous about re-injuring my leg and being out of work and out the skies... Again! But the skies called and I answered -
I'm sure it's been said enough times, but PLF!

Would you let a non jumper pack your reserve??
ChileRelleno replied to callmewhuffo's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
Yo Whuffo, Listen to me girl, if you put in the "WORK" to get your riggers ticket you can pack my reserve any day of the year. They don't just hand those out, go get it, you'll be proud of yourself and contribute to this awesome sport! Disregard anything negative coming at you, some folks have their head so far up their arse they need a bellybutton window to see where they're going. You may be applying enough excessive frontriser input to stairstep the nose and interrupting the airflow over your canopy, hence the bucking. Just as easily it could be the brakeline setting, I fly the Hornet and have had to adjust (lengthen) them. ChileRelleno-Rodriguez Bro#414 Hellfish#511,MuffBro#3532,AnvilBro#9, D24868

???Exscuse me??? Most folks I know pack for themselves, it seems to me that people who rely on packers are in the vast minority. They are teams, big way participants, highly active groups, organizers and people with more money than sense. ChileRelleno-Rodriguez Bro#414 Hellfish#511,MuffBro#3532,AnvilBro#9, D24868

Having a five year old boy my wife and I are still very affectionate with lots of hug's and kisses and a little groping when in his presence but when its time for some serious shagging we try to be a little discreet. But we aren't going to hide and muzzle each other and we aren't doing it in front of him blatantly either. Kids should know that mommy and daddy love each other and that as they get older kids should know that mommies and daddies make love and thats where babies come from. We've had our son walk in on us while in bed engaged and we were covered so we just stopped and talked with him about what he wanted and said mommie and daddy were sharing hugs and love... No big deal. ChileRelleno-Rodriguez Bro#414 Hellfish#511,MuffBro#3532,AnvilBro#9, D24868

HI EVERYONE! I see y'all have been busy, hundreds of new post and HH is doing wonderful things with new servers "You rock HH!" A month on the road and I was without my gear (my wife took it away after my marathon of jumping during august/september) was hellish indeed but I come home to find the H/C washed and scotchguarded, both the reserve and main inspected/repacked and does it look sharp! She's a good woman, I think I'll keep her... The wife that isLOL I hope saturday is clear and mild so I can go play. ChileRelleno-Rodriguez Bro#414 Hellfish#511,MuffBro#3532,AnvilBro#9, D24868

Your definitely not the only one who talks to their gear but your canopy talks back? That has to be stopped. Next thing you know it'll be walking all over you, every biotch needs to know her place and exactly what's expected of her! Discipline... Your biotch needs discipline. Hook turn horrors/Landing injuries
ChileRelleno replied to Ron's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
(1) What happened: I was visiting a new DZ and making my third jump there and first of that morning. I was doing my usual 90 front riser turn onto final after having chose a secondary area due to my first choice being overly occupied. Everything looked and felt good so on with the show... And then disaster! The secondary area I'd chosen was deep gravel not a hard surface with a thin layer of gravel on top, when I landed my right foot bit into the gravel, it stopped whilst I kept going. Snap! Crack! goes the tib/fib. The moral to the story is "Always check your LZ at a new DZ very thoroughly!" (2)Canopy: Hornet 210 (3)Wingload: 1.2.1 (4)Experience: Various canopies ranging from 288-190 (5)Jumps: 290 jumps (6)Damage: Severe spiral fractures of the Tib/Fib requiring surgical internal fixation in the form of two (2) plates and fourteen (14) screws along with soft tissue damage and some permanent nerve damage. (7)Cost: $21,000+ I've good medical insurance, my out of pocket was only $3,000 (8)Downtime: Four (4) months, once again, I've good disability insurance to pull me thru (barely) ChileRelleno-Rodriguez Bro#414 Hellfish#511,MuffBro#3532,AnvilBro#9, D24868 -
I too have skydiving dreams and find them to be a real hoot! My personal favorite which I've had multiple times is one in which my suspension/control lines are 100's of feet long and I can't seem to catch up with the canopy. I can control it but I'm always 4-5 seconds delayed in my body going thru the turn ect... ChileRelleno-Rodriguez Bro#414 Hellfish#511,MuffBro#3532,AnvilBro#9, D24868

I've two (2) plates and fourteen (14) screws in my right leg that held my Tib/Fib together while it healed. I spent four (4) months recovering and postwhoring before jumping again, I talked with my orthopedic surgeon everytime I saw him about my leg, its new hardware and the effects/consequences of my returning to skydiving could have upon it. Bottom line from the Doc was let it heal, do your rehab, return to skydiving. He did say that if the hardware for some reason really bothered me he would take it out in a year. Its been just over a year and it ain't a bother so why take the risk of more surgery if it ain't absolutely nessecary? ChileRelleno-Rodriguez Bro#414 Hellfish#511,MuffBro#3532,AnvilBro#9, D24868
