I seem to find that alot of liberal socialist welfare/dole government dependent type people from the world over will take any chance to poke at a leader who is willing to go against the general consensus of these folks and their representatives/governments. They'd much rather have a lying cheatin stealing piece of crap like Bill Clinton who would bow to their wishes. In other words I could give a ratsass about who'd they'd trust with anything! Cold -> wear jacket -> jump = not fun
ChileRelleno replied to vonSanta's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
layering is the key when its really cold. I like to go with a set of thermal underwear, wool socks, long sleeve heavy weight shirt,a sweat set all covered by my jumpsuit (you need a baggy jumpsuit). A good balaclava and muff for your head and throat, and your choice of gloves. If its REALLY cold I pull out my neoprene face mask. Snow jumps are cool (pun intended). Don't forget to look at the Icon and its older Bro the Velocity, both are fine open face helmets and I really like my Velocity. ChileRelleno-Rodriguez Bro#414 Hellfish#511,MuffBro#3532,AnvilBro#9, D24868

If "all" you want is a reliable accurate audible then I'd buy the Timeout. If you really wanted a Protrack then either buy the Timeout now and the Protrack later and have two audibles... or wait and get the Protrack. If you get both then later you could find another poor skydiver who really could use a inexspensive (or free) audible and give a little love. The mother and father should both not only be beaten, starved and incarcerated but they should also be sterilized. While incarcerated they should be given special visiting privliges by the other prisoners who "just want to talk to them" ChileRelleno-Rodriguez Bro#414 Hellfish#511,MuffBro#3532,AnvilBro#9, D24868

Inexspensive and reliable... Hmmmm thats good A audible (of any type) is real nice addition to your gear. We all need those little bells and whistles to remind us once in a while. ChileRelleno-Rodriguez Bro#414 Hellfish#511,MuffBro#3532,AnvilBro#9, D24868

How many of you DON'T wear altimeters?
ChileRelleno replied to dkf1979's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
I've seen alot of teams who not only have one on their wrist but on their hip harness also. They can see a altimeter where ever they are, at any time. Safety is free use all you want! ChileRelleno-Rodriguez Bro#414 Hellfish#511,MuffBro#3532,AnvilBro#9, D24868 -
A helmet... Ya ya ya I know I'm a smartass and a belated Merry Christmas to you and your wife. I try to fly my body all the way thru the initial opening sequence keeping my head down holding heading and horizon, once the deployment actually brings me upright do I then watch the opening and perhaps give it a little encouragement with the risers if needed. I don't know if this'll help, but I've never been slapped. Then again maybe those rental canopies are just putting you in your place like the biotch that you are ChileRelleno-Rodriguez Bro#414 Hellfish#511,MuffBro#3532,AnvilBro#9, D24868

I'm one who believes in the old crawl, walk and then run progression. Master the basic's first then move on, I don't mean that you need to be Mr. RW, just capable of safely performing basic RW. Then you can move on to FF starting with sitflying and working up from there. I like being able to do a little of everything and being able to do it well enough to get in on all the fun whether it be RW, FF or CRW ChileRelleno-Rodriguez Bro#414 Hellfish#511,MuffBro#3532,AnvilBro#9, D24868

By "swerving" your vehicle you risk losing control of your vehicle and put yourself and others at risk for their life and property. ChileRelleno-Rodriguez Bro#414 Hellfish#511,MuffBro#3532,AnvilBro#9, D24868

Hi'ya people! Chile is home for the holidays and very lucky to be alive and so are some other folks. Yesterday while rolling southbound on I-85 thru Salibury,NC I topped a small rise only to find brake lights and white smoke in front of me with multiple cars stopped ,stopping and more than one vehicle occupying one lane... I stood on the brakes(literally)and still wasn't able to stop my 77,000lbs+ of 18 wheeler in time and impacted two vehicles from the rear who had already sideswiped each other and were side by side, slightly offset and at angles to each other in the fastlane, one of them had hit the vehicle in front of it... I was the coup de grace. The first two cars are most likely totaled, the third had already rolled forward far enough after their initial impact to be clear of my secondary and my truck sustained significant damage to the left side front. Only one driver was taken to a hospital for possible neck injuries, THANK GOD! It could have been ALOT worse. I have eyewitnesses from a construction crew working the area who said that the whole thing was set in motion by people locking their brakes on a very busy interstate for a kittie who dashed across the road.... They also told the state troopers that they thought I did a great job trying to shut it down and my impact speed was aprox 25mph(theres a lot of kinetic energy in 77,000lbs) A frickinfrackin CAT!!!!!!!These dumbshits risked human life trying not to hit a worthless CAT!!!!!!! My truck is in Charlotte,NC for repairs, I had to take Breath alcohol and urine drug test, had the state troopers trying hard to find something wrong with my logbooks(there wasn't), I (the professional driver) was the only one to receive a ticket (failure to control speed resulting in collision), my neck and back are sore, I had to leave most of my possessions and catch a Greyhound home to Alabama and last but not least my spotless safety record is now smudged and I'll receive a royal asschewing and company probation. Now I concede that I hold some fault, it was a rear-end collision, hind sight is 20/20,could've,should've and would've ect... So I ask you what do you think? Beautiful day here in Mobile,Al, why am'I at home? I can't afford a new cypres cutter and repack right now, thats why! My stupidity made for a very exspensive jump $10. jump $40. repack $100 replacement cutter = $150 skydive!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Still not as exspensive as my $23,500+ skydive but then I didn't break any bones... KNOCK ON WOOD! ChileRelleno-Rodriguez Bro#414 Hellfish#511,MuffBro#3532,AnvilBro#9, D24868

It was the infamous pink porter named "The Crazy Flamingo" that was used in the movie "Dropzone", for quite awhile it was based here at Goldcost skydivers back in 97. Yes it had the trapdoor and yes we used to do trapdoor drops, you'd sit on the door and hug your knees, then bombs away! It got sent out to Texas somewhere and had a little accident on landing one day... Something about ripping the landing gear out or something like that, not good to say the least.
