  2. Why? Is Texas a racist place? When an author is too meticulous about his style, you may presume that his mind is frivolous and his content flimsy. Lucius Annaeus Seneca
  3. So are Texans generally very fat? (I've never net a Texan before). When an author is too meticulous about his style, you may presume that his mind is frivolous and his content flimsy. Lucius Annaeus Seneca
  4. Wrong: Exodus 22:2: "If a thief is caught breaking in and is struck so that he dies, the defender is not guilty of bloodshed" Does that mean Christians also support selling their daughters into slavery and the death penalty for eating shrimp or a cheeseburger? I know that the 'ham' part of 'hamburger' confuses you, but hamburger is beef and not pork. Instead of snipes at someone confusion, you should re-read yourself: he said cheeseburger. You know, the dairy/meat combo. Evil devil stuff. He just picks and chooses which biblical verses to quote and which to ignore, based on his personal biases. Surely not? 5. Well he was just working with what he had to hand, 'improvise, adapt and .... Oh dear'. But at least the man died fully living that which he believed in, I have more respect for him than those who live their lives believing in nothing and fearing everything. 13. Internationally Texas has a reputation as DP central. Its often seen as a right wing Christian state with hardline views. Never having been there I don't know if that really is accurate but it is how the media portray it. Is it a Xenophobic state of hot heads and cactus or is Texas getting a unfair deal in the global (and US) media? Whats makes Texas so different? 19. Boys fighting? Heaven forbid! Boys have been fighting each other since time began, no big deal on that. However, adults watching them for entertainment and placing bets on it, thats weird and unacceptable. Thats what we've dogs, bears and roosters for. 23. Usually i'd tick correct punishment in this case, but I heard something on the radio this morning that made me think twice. The DP is easier than a life sentence that means life, its not uncommon for lifers to commit suicide rather than face actual life. So is the DP really the ultimate penalty? I'm not sure it is anymore. That prick Richard Reed (the shoe bomber) is in a living hell in a Supermax, that is surely a fate worse than death.
