  2. Come on, post about something that you actually care about or have a genuine opinion on, it would be so much more interesting. When an author is too meticulous about his style, you may presume that his mind is frivolous and his content flimsy. Lucius Annaeus Seneca
  3. Why does the phrase 'one trick pony' always make me think of prostitution? Clearly you're used to the cheap end of the market then When an author is too meticulous about his style, you may presume that his mind is frivolous and his content flimsy. Lucius Annaeus Seneca
  4. He's almost as bad as I am. Now that the election is over, I'm at a loss. LMAO Never mind Ron look on the bright side theres always the end of the world.
  5. I object to being called stereotypical. I use a high quality sound system. While it is in stereo, it is hardly typical. When an author is too meticulous about his style, you may presume that his mind is frivolous and his content flimsy. Lucius Annaeus Seneca
  6. Do you live in Australia, Germany or the USA? Why does it bother you so much what other countries do with their firearm legislation? Lets face it, you doing really give a shit its just a fun topic for you to try and piss off your stereo typical Americans with. 7. Wow, thats almost unbelievable. No wonder Brussels is always coming out with bizarre over bureaucratic legislation if thats how they behave in their own country. As for the breathalysers thats just incredible. When an author is too meticulous about his style, you may presume that his mind is frivolous and his content flimsy. Lucius Annaeus Seneca
  8. Is that mandatory in Belgium? And a breathalyser??? Although its a good idea to carry some of that none of it is a legal requirement either in the UK or Ireland. 9. In Belgium??? Come on, there are plenty of parts of the USA where you wouldn't even leave you bike parked, everywhere has good and bad areas. In Sebastian FL I saw a bike that had been burnt outside a bikers bar, why? Because it was Japanese! The people I purchased my house from wanted to get rid of their car so left the keys in the ignition and the window open day and night when it was parked outside, it was there for three months before they gave up. Yup. In Belgium. "This location may be authorized a move-in allowance for security as the Department of State has determined that this is a high crime or terrorism location. For more information on the MIHA Security allowance see the Joint Federal Travel Regulation - Chapter 10, Paragraph 10026, and Appendix N." Wow, thats pretty funny. You must get a fortune for a war zone then! As Christel said Belgium is renown for being a place where nothing ever happens. There is a terrorism threat all over the world but I'd have thought you'd be at far higher risk of a terrorist threat in any US city more than in Belgium. 10. Look under the monkey: Registered: Jul 30, 2002 Posts: 9542 As for the profile I haven't updated it for years and move country a lot let alone DZ. But there are still real people here who I've jumped with, can you say the same? When an author is too meticulous about his style, you may presume that his mind is frivolous and his content flimsy. 12. So your gun crime is rising, and your response is to make it easier for everyone to get guns? Maybe to reduce traffic accidents, we should put more cars on the road! apples and oranges When an author is too meticulous about his style, you may presume that his mind is frivolous and his content flimsy. 13. That's funny, coming from another guy who also has an anonymous profile. Not at all, my name and some skydiving details are on my profile. There are several people on this site who I know in person and have jumped with. I've also been around on here for a decade and plenty of people know my background. You on the other hand have pitched up in the last five minutes have nothing about your skydiving background on your profile and no name any wonder so many people have you down as a troll? 14. Probably would have risen even more if the guns hadn't been taken away. Judging by the number of hooligans that remain in your society, as represented by those crime statistics, it's a good thing that they don't have access to all that weaponry. So therefore A) The ban hasn't reduced crime and is therefore not viable in reducing gun crime. B) As pointed out by your comment about hooligans what drives the 'gun crime' is in fact the culture of a nation rather than a limited availability of firearms as criminals do not purchase weapons from registered and licensed firearms dealers but from other criminals. 15. Was that directed at me? If so, I don't know who "JR" is. I've also been accused of being someone named "DD". And then there was a third one that I can't remember. Gosh, I don't know why all these people think I'm someone else. I'm just a new guy here. Might be something to do with your troll'esq postings and lack of any profile information whatsoever. 17. In the UK we have the Human RIghts Act. Beyond that we have the European Court of Human Rights which overrules nation states rulings where needed. Of course it doesn't make it popular but it does protect the rights of unpopular minorities. 18. Don't forget the knives, bats, bottles, hammers and other 'killer weapons' What about in the UK? We've had most of our hand guns and semi automatic rifles (with the exception of rimfire) taken away and yet our gun crime has risen since the ban? Clearly your argument is a nonsense and is either hasn't been given any thought or more likely is simply a poor attempt to engender extreme reactions. Seriously if you want to actually debate the subject then great, stop posting several threads all about the same thing, stick with one and give a logical thought out argument for your position. 19. Mate if you're going to troll then you need to be more subtle about it. When an author is too meticulous about his style, you may presume that his mind is frivolous and his content flimsy. Lucius Annaeus Seneca
  20. So how does one keep democracy in check? After all if you exclude the extremes you leave them no option but violence. In the north of Ireland the former terrorists now are politicians and run the country through democratic means. The ANC a former terrorists organisation now runs the government of South Africa, there are many other countries where the same situation exists (including Israel). Democracy must be unchecked if it to stand a chance of working, if the people do not decide on the government through democratic election then its not democracy. 21. Doesn't look like they want to join you very much. Not really very surprising when you consider that they view you as following not only a false messiah but one who is a heretic. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BnG78iThMkM http://www.chabad.org/library/article_cdo/aid/160992/jewish/Can-a-Jew-believe-in-Jesus.htm When an author is too meticulous about his style, you may presume that his mind is frivolous and his content flimsy.
