All joking aside, was America really the greatest country in the world at any point? America got lucky with WWII because when Europe was demolished by war the USA was untouched (with the exception of Pearl Harbour), so the might of the industrial machine that the war created was turned to churning out good to export to countries who were unable to do so themselves because of the damage to their infrastructure and economy. The USA got rich from making loans to they countries (UK included). However the USA also suffered post war from the MacCarthy witch hunts and rampant racism which divided the nation. So by what measure was the USA ever the greatest country in the world, other than in the Hollywood imagination? Sure their were moments in history where the USA was number one, such as the space race but that dominance was soon lost too. Next you'll be telling us that when we have a "World Championship" sporting event, we should invite other countries. When an author is too meticulous about his style, you may presume that his mind is frivolous and his content flimsy. Lucius Annaeus Seneca -
Hair's breadth. The first word is a possessive, and the second word, breadth, means width. Ironically, a hair's breadth is roughly the thickness of foil. No Hare's breath ,the halitosis of myxomatosis! http://vi.sualize.us/first_rabbit_first_and_last_breath_art_kate_macdowell_picture_qr8q.html When an author is too meticulous about his style, you may presume that his mind is frivolous and his content flimsy. Why do a lot of people buy in larger bulk quantities rather than placing many smaller orders? Yes, buying bulk crates and pallets is cheaper per round than buying boxes of fifty. However there is a point of diminishing returns. The numbers requested by DHS are patently ridiculous. They don't use that many rounds. They certainly don't use JHP and duty quality ammo for training. That would preclude using cost as a basis for order size. The cost of storage alone would negate any return on a bulk buy of that size. When an author is too meticulous about his style, you may presume that his mind is frivolous and his content flimsy. Ok, tin foil hats off here, I believe you but why would they? Is this to price people away from firearms? When an author is too meticulous about his style, you may presume that his mind is frivolous and his content flimsy. Lucius Annaeus Seneca

Ammo is still easy to get over here. But unfortunately we can't buy online like in the USA. On another note, WHY? Why is Ammo so scarce in the USA these days? When an author is too meticulous about his style, you may presume that his mind is frivolous and his content flimsy. Lucius Annaeus Seneca

Somebody help me understand this (Afghanistan Ops)

How does one get an iris scan of a terrorist into the "system" in the first place? When the US went into Afghanistan, did they round everyone up and do iris scans? Either scan people who have been arrested also simply ask local suspects if you mind having your 'photo' taken.
