"I brought terror to people under the American Flag"
Skyrad replied to Skyrad's topic in Speakers Corner
My source in this case is The Independent, a national newspaper in the UK. THEIR source is The Nation magazine and THEIR source is US combat vets of the US military. I looked and found this link... http://www.thenation.com/doc/20070730/hedges Yours is a fair question, I think theirs is a fair response. When an author is too meticulous about his style, you may presume that his mind is frivolous and his content flimsy. Lucius Annaeus Seneca -

That study concludes that the sun couldn't be responsible because the suns energy has declined over the last 20-40 years while the eath has got hotter. The sea provides the greatest amount of CO2 into the atmosphere and it takes decades or even a centry to really raise the temprature enough to make a difference to the amount of CO2 it releases. The change in the amount of CO2 released by the seas now is due to the actvity of the sun in the beginging of the last century and before. This looks like yet another headline grabber for funding and fame. When an author is too meticulous about his style, you may presume that his mind is frivolous and his content flimsy. One doen't have to be 'cool' with them or even agree with them to recognise their right to fight to repel foriegn invaders from their land. We simply reserve the right to kill them, its an agree to disagree kind of thing. When an author is too meticulous about his style, you may presume that his mind is frivolous and his content flimsy. Thats total nonsense. Firearm ownership is on the increase not decline in the UK. Unlike in the US though purchasing a firearm for self protection is not a legal reason, people in the UK purchase them for sport or work purposes. (Bodyguards in the UK are not allowed to carry firearms outside of the Police and military, PI's are not allowed to carry them at all) When an author is too meticulous about his style, you may presume that his mind is frivolous and his content flimsy. In one way, you're right, however, the difference is in doctrine too. China may not have a problem losing 500M people in an exchange. 400 is more than enough to eliminate the population centers of the US. Fair point, actually under the new world order one has to question why the US needs so many. Any idea how many of those are tactical battlefield nukes? Totally depends on if you're American or Russian. The Wolverines were in the same situation as the Chechens at the time we were calling them freedom fighters the Russians called them terrorists after 9/11 it suited the US to call the same freedom fighters terrorists too. The above is true but its ironic that GWB has made such a botch of it that he has indirectly strenghtened and has to deal with Iran and Syria who he has labeled the Axis of Evil to try and hep get him out of the mess. Some might describe them as Islamic and totalitarian. When an author is too meticulous about his style, you may presume that his mind is frivolous and his content flimsy. Lucius Annaeus Seneca
