  1. I disagree. Fighting defensively on our home ground in a conventional war, I don't see anyone defeating the US. In that scenario, our resolve would be excellent. I agree, but its a very unlikely scenario don't you think? When an author is too meticulous about his style, you may presume that his mind is frivolous and his content flimsy. Lucius Annaeus Seneca
  2. No, I thought it was bullshit then and my opinion hasn't changed. I thought it would turn into America's Northern Ireland and it has. When an author is too meticulous about his style, you may presume that his mind is frivolous and his content flimsy. Lucius Annaeus Seneca
  3. Without a doubt the US border guards are some of the most stupid people I've ever had the misfortune of having to deal with. When an author is too meticulous about his style, you may presume that his mind is frivolous and his content flimsy. Lucius Annaeus Seneca

  7. Only in America plebs put numbers after their name WTF is with that? Is it better to live in a country with overt recognition of who is a "pleb" and who is a "patrician"? Maybe you'd prefer to replace the "land of opportunity" with "stay in your fuckin' CASTE!" as the motto of the U.S.? The fact that you condescend to people as though you have the standing to call them "pleb" says a lot about you. Firstly, my comment has nothing to do with the Caste system but if you wish to stop Hindu liberals reforming their religion in the USA then thats up to you. Secondly the distinction was between Royalty and the middle and working class with no reference to where I do or don't stand anywhere in the text either directly or indirectly. As for Plebs I refer you to the account below (taken from Wikipedia as I don't want to invest any more time than I have to in your education.) So you see the distinction is between the ruling class (eg: Royalty) and the citizens, who could be wealthy and influential people. The fact that you look down your nose at plebs therefore says allot more about your feelings of class inferiority than it does anything about me in anyway shape or form dear boy. 10. Depends where, the time available for build up, the length of the logistical supply lines, the environment and the scope and limitations of the area of conflict. If we're talking all out war on a global scale its irrelevant because we'd all be fucked. If we are talking in general terms about a small conflict in support of a third party I have no doubt that due to weapons and comand and control superiority that the US would win in the short term although if it became a state sponsered insurection by Russia in the long term I think the Russian side would win as in the current climate the American people would not have the resolve to take the casulties indefinatly and the insurgents fighting on their home ground would have to. 12. Someone needs to take this young man and sit him down and talk to him. He needs to understand what he did is wrong and not acceptable. He needs to have the consequences of his action explained to him, and he needs love and acceptance to be able to reintegrate into society. I wouldn't mind putting money on the fact that he was most likely abused as a child and so is in fact a victim himself. I think that with time hard work counsiling and love he could once again become a member of society and truely repent for the crimes he committed in his pain....Actually I'd much rather shoot him.
