I guess Marla has her book ready to go. this was sent to me. it's from Facebook. PLEASE WATCH!!!!! I will make an announcement VERY soon about my book, "DB's Niece: the hijacked heart in my head." You'll be able to purchase it on Amazon. Part of the proceeds will go to The Wounded Warrior Project. Meanwhile, please see the following episode of "America's Book of Secrets" on The History Channel 2. Note: there is a narration script error RE: I never saw either of my two uncles again, which is not correct. Otherwise, It's a good teaser! I hope you enjoy it, and tell your friends the Cooper story starts about half way thru.... http://www.history.com/shows/americas-book-of-secrets/videos/americas-book-of-secrets-lost-treasures#americas-book-of-secrets-lost-treasures does Gray now believe Marla?????? that sounds about right. he lived in two homes with Marcia in Sparks (see photo) this is why I find it hard to believe these guys were in hiding with there names on documents all over the place? if I was hiding from the law. I wouldn't leave a paper trail like this. "It is surprising how aggressive people get, once they latch onto their suspect and say, 'Hey, he's our guy.' "LD was born in 1933 " keep in mind the date of 1933 has not been confirmed. it makes more sense than 1931, but hasn't been confirmed as being correct. the probability of his birth being incorrect is high. "I can call X and ask around if you want ... ? " personally I don't think he was Cooper, just going over some facts for testxyz. this person seems interested in finding some answers to this. perhaps Testxyz would like the info? I remember this article. I think this is a different LD. I found records of a Lynn D Cooper that was a much older than our LD. I'll see if I can still find info on him.this broke out at the same time Marla's story first aired. As far as that goes, I didn't check out any further to verify that the Lynn D in the divorce is Lynn Doyle. I was relying on a post on here that said Marla's Lynn Doyle was married to a Becky Jo Defoe. Just putting that caveat out there.

I'll see if I can still find info on him.this broke out at the same time Marla's story first aired. I think that's right. The presumed Vancouver connection was a promising lead in the beginning then it fissled. Does anyone have an arrest record for LD to know what prints etc are on file that the FBI would have compared with? At the end of the day LD will probably pass into the "cult" file, along with Weber, KC, and the rest ... I didn't find any criminal activity with LD. I assume they used his military records for prints? "It is surprising how aggressive people get, once they latch onto their suspect and say, 'Hey, he's our guy.' Lynn Cooper is the Plaintiff. He filed for the divorce. Thanks Vicki, I just caught that......little slow today so, we have him in Nevada in the start of November on record. well, Marla did claim he was at grandma's house during the hijacking so it's possible they couldn't locate him.......but again, here is the house similar to what was there in 71, hardly a home to give someone there own room? who filed, Lynn's name is on top? ok Mr. Green. what ever you say.........but, the next time you don't have anything to say to me, try not taking up a page in order to reach your goal.....thanks for the offer of talking about skydiving, but I think I know enough of you guys that could be more qualified than yourself. I will keep you in mind.... Thanks again "It is surprising how aggressive people get, once they latch onto their suspect and say, 'Hey, he's our guy.' I do 99.5% of the time. I don't need you to remind me though. I don't think I need to explain myself any further to you or anyone else. Thank You "It is surprising how aggressive people get, once they latch onto their suspect and say, 'Hey, he's our guy.' No matter what you tell them, they refuse to believe you" Agent Carr FBI

I do understand where you are coming from. this all started with one simple post. hopefully we will get back on track. I did try several posts ago.... "Amelia Earhart" mystery be involved in the DB Cooper thread" go back just a couple pages and you will find discussion on this. "It is surprising how aggressive people get, once they latch onto their suspect and say, 'Hey, he's our guy.' No matter what you tell them, they refuse to believe you" Agent Carr FBI

well, the relevance is that it's an unsolved mystery just like Cooper. it's the same time period, several wish to believe a cover up. many believe a cover up in the Hoffa case. yes one is in the air, while the other happened on the ground. I posted the story just as they did when Felix made his leap from space. had zero to do with Cooper, but was discussed on here and didn't seem to bring such hostility to the form. the splitting of the hairs was in reference to this being an unsolved skyjacking that just so happens to have parachuting in it. so I guess the Cooper story could easily fall under different categories. I have read many jumpers wishing this form was not on here. so, once again where do we stand. I have never been on a form/thread where the topic remained solid. people get to know one another and start discussing things "off topic" it's not the first or last time this will happen....it's happening right now. "It is surprising how aggressive people get, once they latch onto their suspect and say, 'Hey, he's our guy.' No matter what you tell them, they refuse to believe you" Agent Carr FBI

yes I see that you were referring to Jo now, I was on the phone at the time. my apology is to you....on that part. the rest is no longer being discussed on it being relevant or not. moving on......as they say. "It is surprising how aggressive people get, once they latch onto their suspect and say, 'Hey, he's our guy.' No matter what you tell them, they refuse to believe you" Agent Carr FBI

well. Marla is coming out of the darkness claiming LD was married to an FBI agent during the time of the hijacking. "It is surprising how aggressive people get, once they latch onto their suspect and say, 'Hey, he's our guy.' No matter what you tell them, they refuse to believe you" Agent Carr FBI

I think you presume too much when you think only frequent posters look at this thread or are interested. Some just don't want to get involved in the bullshit. Greene I go way back, have not always seen eye-to-eye on a number of topics, but is as welcome in this thread as any other user. You do not get to be the arbiter here of who is and isn't allowed to voice an opinion. I don't believe I said he wasn't allowed on the thread. but do not wish to harsh over one post made. this is what always happens. two people thought it was relevant and two don't.......I think we have concluded the matter. "It is surprising how aggressive people get, once they latch onto their suspect and say, 'Hey, he's our guy.' No matter what you tell them, they refuse to believe you" Agent Carr FBI

if you did your homework properly you would know that you were not talking to Jo. unsolved mystery do seem to tie themselves together whether one wishes to believe this or not, and can be relevant to a certain point. if you wish to split hairs, this topic of Cooper doesn't belong on a skydiving thread. I believe DZ is a site for you jumpers to converse about things. so where does this end? since I don't recall seeing your name on here, why is this so important to you? "It is surprising how aggressive people get, once they latch onto their suspect and say, 'Hey, he's our guy.' No matter what you tell them, they refuse to believe you" Agent Carr FBI

Let's keep the discussion to DB Cooper here. Certainly there is a Hoffa thread on some other web site for people to enjoy. The information about Hoffa is relevant, as it is a well known unsolved case from the 1970's (similar to Cooper). Now, the FBI is actively pursuing it because of a substantial lead. Thank you for posting it Shutter! Thank You, I believe you will make a fine agent in the future "It is surprising how aggressive people get, once they latch onto their suspect and say, 'Hey, he's our guy.' No matter what you tell them, they refuse to believe you" Agent Carr FBI

I can respect that. but you can see that sometimes off topic posts will happen, this goes for any form. I don't believe advertising falls under that in any way, shape or form. I always try to stay on topic, but as you mentioned I can get side tracked just as anyone else. I try my best to bring things to the Cooper table as best as I can., be it information found, or investigations I'm currently doing with my flight simulations. one tends to be a little defensive when they post things that are not accurate as to what you are doing, or how it's being done. it's hard to maintain control when one doesn't have all of the facts before they speak, so the bickering starts. hopefully with the intervention from you we can learn to have a mature discussion about the topics at hand. the odds are low, but let's see what happens "It is surprising how aggressive people get, once they latch onto their suspect and say, 'Hey, he's our guy.' No matter what you tell them, they refuse to believe you" Agent Carr FBI

Let's keep the discussion to DB Cooper here. Certainly there is a Hoffa thread on some other web site for people to enjoy. this was the point the "other two" were talking about when someone else was posting topics not relevant to Cooper. advertising was the big one? this is big news. not "the Aburn Days" same when Felix Baumgartner was posted on here. lots of other non topic posts have been made and nothing said.... I don't think it should be selective, do you? "It is surprising how aggressive people get, once they latch onto their suspect and say, 'Hey, he's our guy.' No matter what you tell them, they refuse to believe you" Agent Carr FBI

An unsolved mystery almost as old as Cooper has new leads. Feds are searching the area now. second video on page is the best for you "Hoffa nuts" http://www.detroitnews.com/article/20130617/METRO/306170059 **CAUTION** reading the article could make you nervous about incoming phone calls......... Tony Zerilli is now stating Hoffa was hit over the head with a shovel and buried alive. "It is surprising how aggressive people get, once they latch onto their suspect and say, 'Hey, he's our guy.' No matter what you tell them, they refuse to believe you" Agent Carr FBI

regardless as to who said it, it wasn't appropriate. meeting someone for a couple hours doesn't tell to much unless something out of the ordinary happens. this is another reason one doesn't marry to quickly because they really don't know that person. you might want to look into "paranoia" since someone feels as if a "cooper nut" is out to get them. that is a very 'narrow mined" response. are we to label people now on unsolved crimes and myteries? people looking into the OJ murders should now be call "O.J. nuts" "Amelia Earhart nuts" JFK wacko's etc. ? or any other demeaning term for someone interested heavily into a mystery? since you are on here every single day, what exactly is the term for you? cooper nut, wacko, fool, expert? I believe on other forms and the way this country views things today, your statements would be considered racist.....no? sometimes your thoughts are very disturbing....... "It is surprising how aggressive people get, once they latch onto their suspect and say, 'Hey, he's our guy.' No matter what you tell them, they refuse to believe you" Agent Carr FBI

"Gayla thinks you might actually be dangerous in real life." is that really how you read someone who rants online? You Tube and Facebook must be full of violent people according to this statement. when are you going to learn to ignore this and either back off the thread, or let it go? you have been the center conflict for some time now (frustrating for all) I make mistakes all the time, but don't take half the page to explain it. you get picked on for a reason. learn from your mistakes. since we are talking about "real life" would you continue to go to an establishment where they teased and constantly gave you a hard time? doubtful.... here is some more stuff about the comics and the author.. Albert Weinberg (1922-2011) began his comics career by working as an assistant to Victor Hubinon (Buck Danny) on a book devoted to the War in the Pacific ("Tarawa") and on the series Blondin & Cirage. From 1949 to 1956, he wrote and drew two space / science fiction series for "Heroic- Albums": Luc Condor and Roc Meteor. Weinberg joined the editorial team of "Tintin" in 1950, for which he created two science fiction series, the remarkable Alain Landier and Dan Cooper. Another character Weinberg created for "Tintin" was blonde tour guide Vicky in 1970. (Dan Cooper met Vicky in the spy-oriented "L'Affaire Minos" (#21) which took place in Athens. In 1971, Weinberg created Knut Andersen for "Pif" and soon after, Barracuda for the German magazine "Zack". http://www.coolfrenchcomics.com/dancooper.htm "It is surprising how aggressive people get, once they latch onto their suspect and say, 'Hey, he's our guy.'
