How the hell should I know? _______________________________________________ See Blevins, this is the point you should quit talking. You really don't know, so stop already! MeyerLouie

Okay. I'll try to remember. Difference: One is like the shaking from a small earthquake. The other...watch out you don't bang your head on the ceiling. I haven't a clue, actually.

[ Cossey is on the record in several places about the canopy used and the backpack. He should know. He may not have owned those chutes, but he did pack them. __________________________________________________ I recently heard Cossey was also on record, in his last interview, as not having much use for your theory. Is that true? Just a nasty rumor I think I just read on the forum. MeyerLouie

Yeah. Okay. Let me know when you find the body, the briefcase, the money bag, the parachutes, etc. Cossey is on the record in several places about the canopy used and the backpack. He should know. He may not have owned those chutes, but he did pack them. _______________________________________________ And your response has what to do with Robert99's original question? Absolutely nothing. Just tootin' your horn, huh? You're all over the place again. Time to get back on your ADD medication. What part of Robert99's explanation about the aft stairs in flight is not clear? What part of it don't you get? Jeez dude, you're a freak show. You do only two things here: talk, and wait to talk. That's it. Now go out and play! MeyerLouie

_______________________________________________ Really good point, Amazon. You'd think something would have turned up by now -- a body, a parchute, the briefcase, the moneybag. I agree with you that Cooper did not jump into a wilderness. Moreover, I don't think he ever intended to. He wore a suit and loafers for crying out loud. That tells me he never ever intended to stray far from the beaten path of civilization, and that may be one of several reasons he selected 305 (and V-23 for that matter). V-23 follows a major corridor in Washington and Oregon -- it is filled with people, cities, freeways, lights, and roads. That's hardly a wilderness. It wasn't back then, and it's certainly less so now. Nothing found has all kinds of implications -- he ended up in a watershed, he survived/walked out, he had a no pull/still buried and well hidden at the bottom of a ravine or deep within a thick briar patch... and on and on -- which we have discussed at length on the forum -- and which I will not rehash here. MeyerLouie

***I don't understand why people poke fun at the idea that Cooper may have backed down the stairs and just pulled the ripcord at the end..... I can't say whether Christiansen was the guy, but ...... _________________________________________________ Blevins, I can, Christiansen was not the guy, he was not DB Cooper.... got it? Now, go outside and play.... Whether Cooper backed down the stairs or not .... has exactly what to with finding any kind of solution to anything Cooper? I know, I forgot ... you've got to kill some time and babble on to make sure you get your quota in for the day. MeyerLouie

See what I mean - young agents have NO idea that in my day - if you said NO jewelry - a WATCH never entered your mind. A watch was not called a piece of jewelry in 1971! _________________________________________________ I wore a watch that year, we called watches jewelry. But don't take my word for it -- I grew up in a little hick town in Eastern Washington. Yeah, we had running water and electricity and everything. Even country folks like us, who didn't get out much, thought of watches as jewlery. MeyerLouie

Blevins wrote: They tell me now that they believe Christiansen was the hijacker, and that Geestman assisted him. They are no longer speaking with Mr Geestman or visiting him up in Port Angeles. You can take that as you wish. My advice to them: Call me again if you get Bernie to confess. They said they would. It's doubtful they will, since Bernie is a pretty cagey guy. Even his own family calls him a liar and a crook. Same as everyone else I ever talked to about him. He must be a GOOD crook. He doesn't have a criminal record.
-
Actually, it's the truth. And we weren't talking about Christiansen or the FBI report on him. We were talking about eyewitness identifications that are used to create a police sketch. This is different from putting a suspect in a lineup and asking a witness to pick out the perp, which in some ways can be a more reliable method. One thing that eyewitnesses do a lot is this: Unless they keep notes during the actual crime, (extremely rare) they tend to forget details on the suspect, and instead focus on key events during the crime. _______________________________________________ And I'm going to take your line of reasoning over what Ckret and the FBI have determined. Did you read Ckret's post from 2007 I posted here? It's pretty clear, Blevins. You don't have a leg to stand on. The FBI don't know, and you do? Now, that's laughable. MeyerLouie

Blevins wrote; Oh, I think the Green River Killer case is QUITE relevant to the Cooper case in one very good way. It demonstrated that witness descriptions and police sketches can be somewhat unreliable in actually catching a perpetrator. The police received very good descriptions on Ridgway from several different witnesses on which sketches were created. These same sketches and descriptions were posted in all the precincts, locally in the Puget Sound area, even at the 7-11 where Ridgway occasionally shopped. During that time, Ridgway was actually arrested twice for crimes related to prostitution, and interviewed by the Green River Task Force - who had a copy of the sketch right in their own office on the wall. And during some of this time, he was still killing women. No one ever came forward or recognized Ridgway in any of these encounters based on the sketch. Even after he went on the official suspect list in 1987, amazingly the police never linked him to their own sketch. Even when they had him in their own offices, when he passed a polygraph test. It wasn't until they dug up his old DNA sample (taken in 1987) and had it tested in 2001 was he finally arrested. The lesson is that witness descriptions aren't always the answer, and can sometimes be inaccurate, depending on the circumstances. High stress levels, for example. There are other reasons. The other lesson is that evidence and witness testimony from someone involved in a crime is a better way to solve a crime than just a sketch. I never said I was smarter than the FBI. _______________________________________________ Well actually you say it all the time, since they won't even give your KC report the 5 minutes they would take for a coffee break. That pisses you off, that's why you take every opportunity to question and revile their every move. Let's see, who has credibility -- Blevins or CKret? Blevins, 0; Ckret, 100. The ones who saw Cooper only had a few hours, one day, a one time shot. Ridgway was out there murdering women for years and years. There were numerous opportunities to identify this psychopath. The real problem was an incompetent sheriff -- he is now a politician, a US Representative in Congress (his name slips me -- big, tall guy with all-white hair, I've seen him campaigning and debating on TV -- the guy can barely put a sentence together). He should have caught Ridgway years before Ridgway was caught. You're comparing apples and oranges here, but then again, analogies were never your strong suit. Trust Tina's account more, she spent the most time with Cooper, she talked to him for hours, she stood right next to him at the aft door, she watched him strap on a parachute. All your Ridgway information is pure crap. MeyerLouie

Blevins wrote: What do you want? Should I quote from Gray's book again? He was the guy who got a look at the original witness reports. The actual notes taken by the Seattle FBI in 1971 from the passengers who deplaned in Seattle, stews Schaffner and Hancock, and later in Reno, the remainder of the crew. Height, anywhere from 5'9" (Robert Gregory) to 6'1" (Flo Schaffner). He was no older than 35 (George Labissioniere) he was about 50 (Cord Spreckel). He had a saggy chin (Bill Mitchell) He had a square jaw (Spreckel). They couldn't even agree on the exact hair style or the color of the suit. In reality, Gray's book demonstrates an important point. The witnesses were all over the place. Even the stews selected different combinations from the FBI's Facial Identification Catalog. Over the years, Cooper investigators have come to consider the sketch in the same vein as an actual photograph. ... _______________________________________________ In September 2007, Post #455, CKRET said: "Mucknow spent 5 hours with Cooper. I think she could have got the base identifiers correct, especially when the others reported the same...The description came from many who saw him, not just Schaffner and Mucklow...Not one person described him much different than the others...He (Cooper) boarded with others, at one point he got up to use the restroom. When they landed in Seattle he got up in the rear of the plane. He stood with Tina as she showed him how the airstairs were lowered. He was standing when he cut open the chute and wrapped the money. Tina watched him put on one of the chutes." Looks to me like there were many opportunities to get a pretty good read on Cooper's height, and I lean toward Tina's estimate the most, since she spent the most time with Cooper and had the most opportunities to get a good look. Now am I going to listen to someone who just babbles on and on about whatever all the time, or am I going to listen to a trained investigator and leader from the FBI? I know you think you're smarter than the FBI, but you're not even close, Mr. 25 %-er. Gary Ridgway has very little to do with this case. Poor example. The Green River Killer is an entirely different case -- completely different circumstances, completely dissimilar time elements, completely different crimes altogether, in every way. You ain't even in the ball park, Blevins. MeyerLouie

[ Kenny Peter Christiansen did NOT have 'live-in gay partners'. EVER. Kenny's middle name is 'Peter' and you're talking about gay partners. You can actually say that with a straight face. You can't make this stuff up. Gay, not gay, who cares? You do, Blevins, because you've taken up most of these 2 or 3 pages -- along with Jo. Guess you two are back to getting your 53% quota of posts in, now. Not a whole lot to say, but that don't keep you two from talkin'. MeyerLouie

_______________________________________________ And you are sharing this with me because........... I didn't really want to hear it, Blevins. It's TMI, too much information! I really don't care to hear any details at all about KC's sexual orientation. Save it for the gay porno forum. A little more drama to make fiction a little more interesting, I guess. MeyerLouie

But when people call me a liar, I will naturally demand proof. It's a reasonable request. So far, all the 'no-credibility' folks have come up empty on that. _______________________________________________ Whine me a river....... here it is.... saying ridiculous, outlandish things on a regular basis doesn't mean you are lying. It just means you are out-of-touch, uninformed, or maybe even blissfully ignorant. I think you mean well, you just have a problem with self-control and impulsiveness -- not really thinking things through before you speak. When you do this, it makes you look foolish. Wake up dude. This isn't a daycare center. MeyerLouie _______________________________________________ By the way...the Chief of Police in Woodinville just classified the Cossey murder as a burglary. She would give no further details, but did admit that at the latest City Council meeting, where more than the usual number were in attendance. (That last bit I obtained by calling and asking, that is, if the number of people attending was greater than usual.) Hate to say 'I told you so,' but I told you so. _______________________________________________ See Blevins, you just can't exercise any self-control or restraint. Maybe try to be more cautious before blurting out such childish, schoolyard taunts. Let's try it again, troll: When I discussed burglary, I said it was unlikely, as in low probability. I didn't say it wasn't a burglary, I said, (based on statistics -- 377 provided some good ones -- try reading them), it was quite unlikely -- a remote possibility. A 13% probability means it's quite a bit more likely NOT to occur. It doesn't mean it's an impossibility, since there's that 13% chance that it can occur. I was very careful in the way I worded that statement -- at the time I said it. I try to do that with most things I say. Try it sometimes, Blevins, it'll make you feel good. Right now, I think you need that -- with all the whining you've been doing these last couple of pages. .... Cry me a river........ Not only that.... the verdict isn't in yet on what actually happened and how it happened in the Cossey tragedy. Hold your 3-breasted horses, buster. MeyerLouie

Just because you say I have 'no credibility' doesn't make it so, of course. That's just YOUR opinion. Saying that is just a fancy way of saying I'm a liar. _______________________________________________ No troll, I didn't call you a liar, you called you a liar. I said you ain't got no credibility. Liar = no credibility?? Okay, if you say so. MeyerLouie ______________________________________________ Blevins said: I don't question your credibility. That's right, cry baby. Try putting some thought into what you say before you say it. Just doing that alone would help you a lot. I read ahead the next page or so. All I hear is whining from you. You have no crediblity because of you, and only because of you. No one else is to blame for your misery, Vitriol Magnet. MeyerLouie

Blevins wrote: First, you should check your history a bit on what the government was doing during the hijack crisis. A full year before Cooper pulled his little stunt, there were already about 1,800 sky marshals in place. _______________________________________________ This is total bullshit Blevins, as usual. I was there. I saw it with my own eyes. Where do you get the number 1800? Making stuff up again? MeyerLouie ______________________________________________ Heavy increase in sky marshals, and the implementation of screening of passengers and their luggage? This was done under Nixon, by the way. _______________________________________________ Yeah, Blevins, Nixon was one stand-up guy. MeyerLouie _______________________________________________ Bob Knoss has told many outright lies, and there is absolutely NO PROOF OR EVIDENCE that the government was ever involved in planning an aircraft hijacking in order to 'improve airline safety'. _______________________________________________ I didn't say I aspired to that particular theory -- I said it isn't any more far-fetched than your fairy tale of KC, Geetsman the Geezer, and eery manifestations in a crawl space in Bonney Lake. And where is your proof? Again, if you think your theory has any more credibility than BK's, then you are in total denial. Accusing someone else of being "ridiculous" is laughable -- as you have absolutely no credibility yourself. You are reaping what you have sown. MeyerLouie _______________________________________________ For you to even HINT that BK's story might have some merit only shows .... _______________________________________________ Hey Blevins, I haven't even hinted that your story has any merit. You are assuming your theory has more merit than BK's. Incorrect assumption, Mr. No Credibility. MeyerLouie

_______________________________________________ I didn't day I bought BK's story, hook, line, and sinker. I said his story isn't any more far-fetched than some of the other stories or theories I've heard. Example: If KC is DBC, I'm the pope. MeyerLouie Fair enough, you had me scared for a moment Sorry...but to put it in the same context for Meyer, I'm STILL scared. And here's why. Meyer: Exactly WHICH elements of BK's story are NOT 'far-fetched?' Making a co-pilot with a distinguished record into a criminal, and slandering a reputation he spent a lifetime building? That would be Bill Rataczak. Or perhaps it's the part where BK brings a dead guy back to life? That would be McCoy. Oh, wait. Maybe it's the part where BK says The Dead Guy (although technically he wasn't dead yet) beat on Janet's door and threatened her for a letter she sent to the Portland FBI. Because he WORKED for the FBI and somehow was intercepting their mail. LOL. He picked that part up just a couple of years ago from the Utah-Standard Examiner interview. Your throwout comment about 'If KC is the hijacker, then I'm the Pope' now has little value, because from your own mouth you (somewhat) support a story that is nothing more than a pack of lies, some of which are SO bad that they hurt innocent people. I mean Bill Rataczak. And others. The truth is, I'm glad you don't consider KC a suspect. You wouldn't make a very good reference. On the other hand, ever since we made THIS available at the website and on Facebook, Twitter, etc. the supporting emails run about 15-20 a week. Thankfully, none of them come from you or Bob Knoss. _______________________________________________ Blevins, Don't be misled into thinking that your theory has any more plausibility and/or credibility than BK's. You say he offers no proof, Jo offers no proof. Guess what? Neither do you -- and for you to criticize someone for not having credibility -- well, it's laughable. I've been saying all along that you suffer from a credibility problem. That hasn't changed. You continue to surprise me with how low you will go. You ask which part of BK's story is not far-fetched? Well, there is some credibility there -- hear me out... The Cooper hijacking got lots of press out west, but Bruce (on one of our roadtrips a while back) informed me that he and many others on the eastern seaboard didn't really pay much attention to it -- and it just didn't get the attention and press that it got out west -- it just didn't seem like that big o' deal out east. Other hijackings were occurring then as well -- people far away from Portand/Seattle just didn't give it all that much never mind (I hope I'm saying that right, Bruce). But the hijackings continued ... and continued .... and continued. You heard of one pretty much on a weekly basis. It finally started getting people's attention. Call it outcry, call it pressure on the airline industry and/or government to do something about it. As paranoid as Nixon was (he had a 'blacklist' for crying out loud -- he had enemies no one could even see!), as fed up as the public finally got with all the hijackings -- who's to say the government didn't pull some shenanigans and come at it through the back door, in the name of improving airline safety in a time of crisis? It wouldn't be the first time they've pulled such shenanigans. Don't forget, we had a paranoid nutcase in the White House at the time. Moreover, whose to say J. Edgar wasn't privy to it -- it might explain why the FBI has seemed so lethargic, so inept, and so unprofessional at times in investigating the hijacking. This is the part of the Bob Knoss theory that might have some merit -- no less merit than a career criminal no one has been able to put in a parachute or on a plane in 17 years, no less merit than a crawl space in Bonney Lake. Yeah, BK has said some crazy, outrageous things, but not everything he has said is necessarily crazy. I'll say it again -- I don't support everything BK has said, but some of his thinking isn't any more far-fetched than some of the other thinking I've heard. I hope I've adequately explained my position -- that's my story and I'm stickin' to it. MeyerLouie

All right. Stop. STOP NOW. There is a difference between possibly being wrong on a theory, (Christiansen)...and simply MAKING UP A STORY that is bizarro beyond belief. (Knoss) _______________________________________________ Funny thing, Blevins. I've heard some people describe your theory in much the same way .... MeyerLouie

At least WE know. And Jo DOES know, she's just not sayin'. You DO NOT know and tell everyone what you wish them to think. Wrong Way Harrigan! West, not East. Pin, not clasp. Janet and Mac. X on the back. Milk can and shovel. The Hague, Japan, and The Montreal Convention on Air Piracy. Northwest Pilots threaten strike. Worldwide Pilots Want Safety. Airlines baulk at cost of safety measures. Nixon proposes new FAA Regulations, Congress does not react. World Approves Airline Safety Program, Congress stalls! Nixon issues Executive orders right after Weber and McCoy hijackings. LOOK IT UP. IT IS ALL DOCUMENTED. They waited for thing to happen through the system, then dropped 'the bomb' because Congress did not have the balls to enact the requested legislation. Called an "End Around Play". Project Norjak. The official name given the plan in 1968 by the Penagon. And them's the facts, folks. _____________________________________________ Doesn't seem so far-fetched to me -- BK's line of reasoning goes further to explain more things than some of the other theories I've heard.
