  1. You should ask Tom Kaye about this. My understanding about the phrase 'This is business now,' refers to the idea that the CS team was considering their own book on the research they did. I keep wondering why you pick on book writers so much. Like the books on Amelia Earhart, (many and legend) there might be some truth here and there mixed in with the speculation. The only non-fiction crime-type book I ever read that I considered almost completely accurate was All The President's Men. Anyone who is investigating anything, planning to do interviews, or considering a career in journalism should read it. Seriously. No, you should ask Tom Kaye about this, since you are the one curious about it@! Now confess. You have a year's supply of Twinkie's hidden somewhere? With the rest of your Survivalist gear and a copy of "Inquisitions for Dummies" ... Your persistent problem apparently in life, is you dont know the difference between "book writers" and "pimps". Or doing research and writing a book vs. pimping. I support legitimate book writers. I don;t support PIMPS! This distinction is akin to the difference between shit and gold. Something most people learn very early in life! Your nose may be out of joint (out of wack). It could be a permanent condition you and your fellow &*&%s will have to learn to cope with, or find another hobby, while devoting renewed energy and devotion to your primary source of being you discovered somewhere along the way - housecleaning. In your case, we shall not go up and down together. You need to get over your personal political delusions. We are, for all practical purposes, different species. --------------------------------------------------------- Blevins, I'm tired of getting after you, it's a broken record -- you will never change. Instead, today, rather than criticize you, I am going to put up my "Top 10 List" of questions I have come up with since recently re-reading Skyjack, Norjak, and Blast: 1. How did DBC get to the Portland airport? Accomplice(s)? 2. Why didn't Geoff Gray write a book that makes it easier to find things (his subsections are dates, not descriptive subtitles, thus making it almost impossible to backtrack and find something that you had read previously; also, writing non-fiction like it's a novel is a tough format, another format may have been better)? 3. Why wasn't Cooper afraid of being recognized? 4. Why did Cooper take the bogus chute? 5. Why is there so much difference in the DBC ID/descriptions by the eye witnesses (Tina spent 5 hours with him, I think I trust her description the most -- hey, I thought flight people were supposed to be trained in this kind of thing). 6. What chance is there that DBC landed in the water? (If you read Farf's analysis of this, a 1% of a 1% chance would be very generous). 7. Why didn't DBC bail out south of Portland? 8. Could Cooper have had a homing device on him so that anyone within 5 miles of where he landed could determine his location (Fank Heyl's profile)? 9. Was Jake from Walla Walla State Pen being truthful (he has evidence you know )? 10. And of course, the big one -- How did the money get to Tena's Bar? There Blevins, I feel better. Focusing on the case rather focusing on you and your schtick is much better. MeyerLouie Note: I don't use caps anymore.
  2. ---------------------------------------------------------- I don't follow that last sentence, but do you have the daughter's website information? MeyerLouie ----------------------------------------------------------
  3. BLEVINS, THE RESPONSES TO MY RESPONSES THIS TIME ARE IN ITALICIZED CAPS. MeyerLouie ----------------------------------------------------------- From Netiquette.com: 'Do not use all caps on the internet because it is shouting. All caps is considered shouting on the internet. Shouting is not polite. Therefore, it is bad netiquette to use all caps on the internet because shouting is not polite. It is a common technique used by HUSTLERS to get attention...' ------------------------------------------------------------ WELL, I'M NOT YELLING, OKAY? I USE BIGGER LETTERS TO HELP FOLKS LIKE YOU SEE BETTER. MeyerLouie ------------------------------------------------------------ What story? What 'wares'? There's no title, nothing on our website, you can't buy it. Might as well be a shopping list. One time I tried to make Blast free for a weekend and people here bitched, so I took down the post right away. And I don't do direct links to the book from Dropzone. (Figure everyone here's seen it anyway) Besides, it's not like people around here haven't posted up non-Cooper stuff before. You know, like when they talk about their fave quarterback? ------------------------------------------------------------ AS USUAL BLEVINS, YOU RATIONALIZE EVERYTHING AWAY WITH ALL YOUR HAPPY HORSE SHIT. JO ASKED A QUESTION ABOUT ANDREW LUCK, I JUST ANSWERED BACK. THERE ARE SOME FOLKS HERE ON THE FORUM WHO DESERVE SOME RESPECT, AND SHE'S DEFINITELY ONE OF THEM. MeyerLouie ------------------------------------------------------------ Umm. Maybe sometimes. I'd say most of my posts are pretty sensible, or relate to the case. Some don't. Some have been very serious, especially when I was checking out the Ariel (Correction: AMBOY) chute story. I'm still not totally convinced the FBI was completely forthcoming on it. I think it should be examined by outside experts who will make their findings public. ------------------------------------------------------------ I REST MY CASE........ MeyerLouie ----------------------------------------------------------- There's only been one symposium so far. I've been to Ariel, talked to 377 and his very nice wife, interviewed Dona Elliot, spoke with Brian Ingram. Did an article about it for Newsvine. Mostly I stayed low profile and 99% of the people there didn't know who I was and that was fine with me. I thought the best part was the lookalike contest. If people asked questions, I try to give them reasonable answers. Did four slideshows over a weekend at the Auburn Ave Theatre and answered so many questions my voice was gone at the end of it. I'm a pretty laid-back guy, generally. ---------------------------------------------------------- BLEVINS......................NEVER MIND! ---------------------------------------------------------- Just can't do Ariel this year. Next year, yes. Symposium in Tacoma, yes. I'm going to ask the museum if they'd like to use the countertop piece found in KC's house, and a few other items, as long as they return them after the display is closed. ----------------------------------------------------------- THANKS FOR THAT VITAL PIECE OF INFORMATION, BLEVINS. THAT LAST SENTENCE MIGHT FALL UNDER THE CATEGORY "TOO MUCH INFORMATION". MeyerLouie -----------------------------------------------------------
  4. QuoteMeyerLouie states: Question - WHO is Andrew Luck? I'm a college football fan, I used to go to WSU football games. Luck was second runnerup in the Heisman Trophy race last year (college football's "best football player" -- I think he should have won it), he was the starting quarterback last year for Stanford. This year is his first year as a pro (hence, rookie) and he's doing incredible -- a mature professional way beyond his years. MeyerLouie
  5. ----------------------------------------------------------- BLEVINS, THE ONLY REASON I USE ALL CAPS IS SO YOU CAN EASILY SEE THAT YOU ARE GETTING A RESPONSE TO YOUR POST. CONSIDER IT MY 'TRADEMARK' IF YOU WILL. CAPS DO NOT EQUAL ANGER. YES, THE STORY IS PRETTY GOOD STORY, BUT THIS FORUM IS NOT THE APPROPRIATE PLACE TO BE POSTING IT. PEDDLE YOUR WARES ELSEWHERE. BLEVINS, YOU'RE SO OFF-THE-WALL WITH SO MANY THINGS YOU SAY HERE -- SOMETIMES INAPPROPRIATE, ASSININE, RIDICULOUS -- SOMETIMES SPONTANEOUS RESPONSES THAT MAKE NO SENSE BECAUSE YOU HAVEN'T TAKEN THE TIME TO THINK THINGS THROUGH BEFORE YOU OPEN YOUR MOUTH. I'M PISSED THAT YOU DON'T MAKE IT TO ANY SYMPOSIUMS? YOU'RE KIDDING, RIGHT? ACTUALLY, YOU USE THIS FORUM TO SHIELD YOURSELF, I DON'T EXPECT YOU TO SHOW YOUR FACE -- EVER, BECAUSE THEN YOU'D REALLY HAVE TO DEFEND YOUR OUTLANDISH POSITIONS. AIN'T GONNA HAPPEN. MeyerLouie
  6. ----------------------------------------------------------- AND WE NEEDED TO SEE THIS NON-DBC RELATED STORY BECAUSE.......?? YOU MUST HAVE A LOT OF TIME ON YOUR HANDS BLEVINS. TO TAKE THE TIME TO TYPE UP A LONG, UNRELATED POST -- PAGES AND PAGES, AND FOR WHAT? I KNOW I'M NOT IMPRESSED, AND I'M NOT REALLY ALL THAT INTERESTED IN YOU PEDALING YOUR WARES ON THE FORUM HERE. SELL YOUR BOOKS SOMEWHERE ELSE --HOW PATHETIC! ANOTHER ONE OF YOUR RIDICULOUS STUNTS -- YOU NEED NOT WONDER WHY YOU HAVE ABSOLUTELY NO CREDIBILITY HERE. NO WONDER WE WILL NEVER SEE YOU AT ANY DBC SYMPOSIUMS OR PUBLIC DOIN'S. I'M BETTING YOU DON'T WANT TO SHOW YOUR FACE, YOU DON'T WANT TO SEE ANY DZ PEOPLE BECAUSE THEY KNOW THE REAL TRUTH ABOUT YOU -- YOU HAVE NO CREDIBILITY. NO SHAME DUDE, NO SCRUPLES, NO SCHOLARSHIP, NO PROFESSIONALISM. YOU MIGHT BE HAPPIER MAKING YOURSELF AT HOME AT ANOTHER FORUM, WHERE SPEAKING WITHOUT THINKING FIRST, AND BEING A BUMBLING IDIOT, ARE NORMAL AND ACCEPTABLE -- LIKE SOME OF THOSE PORN SITES, OR UFO OR SASQUATCH SITES. THESE SITES MIGHT BE A BETTER FIT FOR YOU. GET A LIFE, I'M TIRED OF IT. MeyerLouie
  7. Precisely why I threw this out there and offered the $100 on my part. I suppose even a rookie could take the questions and ask them and record her answers, but it would be better to have someone very knowledgable of all of the right come backs. Very good reason to have someone who reads or participates in this thread or knows the case well. Right now the only person I know who could do this - no longer lives in WA and the trip would be expensive. ----------------------------------------------------------- BUT THERE'S GOTTA BE SOMEONE CLOSER TO PORTLAND WHO COULD CHECK THINGS OUT FOR YOU. I KNOW BETTER TO EVER UNDERESTIMATE YOU OR YOUR KNOWLEDGE OF THE CASE. ANY WAY I CAN EVER HELP YOU OUT, YOU KNOW I WILL... EVEN IF I AM JUST A ROOKIE. SO IS ANDREW LUCK, AND LOOK AT WHAT HE'S DOING! MeyerLouie
  8. ------------------------------------------------------------ Jo, it's really not that hard to ask Miss Twisty Butt questions -- I was brand new to the forum at last year's Portland Symposium, I asked her 2 or 3 questions -- during her Q and A, no big deal, she answered all questions graciously and as thoroughly as she was able. I am confident she will attempt to answer any questions you throw at her. My questions were kind of weird, she just smiled and kept pushed on. I am planning to be in Ariel on Saturday, 11/24, for a while anyway, earlier in the day. I wasn't planning on being in Portland that day, at the movie/Twisty Butt talk -- that would be a long day, with the drive and then the movie and then Ariel and then the drive back home. Is there anyone closer to Portland who wouldn't mind showing up to Marla's talk and taking notes and/or recording it? Might be good forum fodder. MeyerLouie
  9. ---------------------------------------------------------- Yeah, How ironic, he has an affair with his co-author (she's a babe), and she says he's "all in." I'm thinking she's a nasty girl, I think she's reminescing about those wonderful private times when the General's "Little General" was "all in." You can't make this stuff up any better if you tried. Not even a week into the new administration and we already have a scandal -- second terms are notorious for them. MeyerLouie
  10. Meyer...it's not arrogance, it's reality. They give us the theatre for the weekend of Auburn Days. About twenty thousand people (more or less) run around all weekend outside the theatre. Downtown is closed to traffic. It's a festival with rock bands playing in the street. The theatre is the only free air-conditioned venue for the event. We give away free snacks and pop and bottled water. Seats are usually filled, and visitors are heavy no matter what we're running in there that year. Seriously. I think Geoff Gray's idea is much better. I could have rustled up a few speakers and some displays over the next seven or eight months, but I'm glad now I don't have to do that. We did get some interest here in town to do the event, but that is normal because many people here know about what goes on at the Ave the second weekend of August. I don't see the big deal. This symposium plan makes me happy and takes the pressure off. Gray's idea is much better and I support it. Hey...I live near Tacoma, and I heard about the display, and I didn't think of the idea of holding a symposium at the museum. Let's face it. That's REALLY smart.
  11. Yepper Blev. Think about it. I know yer slow. Maybe reedthe postie! Think about it. so many questions - so much Mr. Obvious so little time until the NEXT Cooper Symposium in 2014. Hey Blev. Are you going to pass a photo of Gray and Bruce around to the Security people? Just remember. It is HIS symposium, not yours. Dont take ownership tooooooooo sooooon! Even though undoubtedly - you will play a MAJOR role - already! Sorry to burst your bubble, but I can't make it to the symposium. I already said why. I'm sure it will be a fun event for all who attend. And the WSH Museum is the perfect place for it, since they will have the Cooper display going. Later, when the event gets closer, I will put up a page about the symposium at the AB website. I think whenever researchers gather to explore the case, a meeting of the minds if you will, that this is a good thing. I fully support it. If by saying 'You will play a major role,' you mean negativity about it, don't hold your breath. YOU are the one making fun of it, not me. The Star Trek vid was just humor. Actually, I think it will be a big success, much bigger than the last one. If Gray thought this up because he realized that the Wash. St. History Museum was also doing the display...that is genius. Not only will he get the people who come for the symposium...but a built in crowd from the museum visitors. Great idea. Besides, Gray's effort now takes me off the hook for next August, and we can do our regular program like last year. This is a big load off my shoulders. ------------------------------------------------------------ Are you serious Blevins? Say you aren't as arrogant as you are coming off with that last paragraph above. You were never on the hook, Blevins. No one signed up with you. Are you kidding?? MeyerLouie
  12. And there it is! I would have posted it earlier but decided to let the fanbois schlep on and on and on in their righteous certainty of oblivion agenda. You will notice nobody informed Mr. Obvious. Gray doesn't want anything to do with - Mr. Obvious. A number of people are planning to attend and if all goes as some hope, there may be some breaking news just prior. Fanbois should stay tuned or miss out - again! Geoff Gray comes through again, while others have nothing better to do than bottom feed on the Deadzone. At this point, a neutral party (LIKE ME!) standing back and watching all of these MACHINATIONS as various parties literally compete for central position, or some piece of control, have to wonder WTF is going on! Several things are 100% obvious. (a) All major parties now operant in the Cooper Maldum Fornax has one or more major detractions, deficits, and hurdles to overcome; if not from one major gaf or another in the long history of people Coopering, then merely because of wear-and-tear in the social game of Coopering itself. Occam would seem to predict that sooner or later the whole Cooper beach will be barren and lifeless just from the death in the Cooper Wars - alone. Global Warming on Planet Cooper has taken its toll. (b) There is a strong cheer leading element of unreality to all Cooper Symposia backed by book writers and publishing houses and the various promoters of Cooper suspects and their advertising agencies!. I can think of 30 different ways to spend a weekend better, in Paris or clsoer to home in the alley beside our local grocery store! (c) These symposia are all being held in Washington State! Why not hold one in Guam ? (d) Will Gayla (former beauty queen) be there in her red dress replacing Marla? (e) Will the FBI sanction this symposium by releasing new data, or is this just one more promotion making promises it can never keep? (f) Will all feuds and pending Court actions be suspended so people can look each other in the face long enough to say "Howdy" - and discuss colors of Coolaide? (g) Will Geoff Gray jump four Clydesdales abreast on his Avendi motor scooter? (h) Will Tom Kaye throw his SEM off the roof of the building (to be shown on Letterman) ? (i) Will the Oregon Ducks Defensive Line attend all sweaty, in a direct appeal to Cooper fan psychology? (j) Will Geestman and "That Woman" attend? (k) Will the menu include Moose and Salmon? so many questions - so little time until the next Cooper Symposium in 2014. ------------------------------------------------------------ Knock it all you want Georger -- I guess this means we won't be seeing you there. But a DBC Symposium can be a good thing -- GG's in Portland last year was great. Some people came from hundreds and hundeds of miles to be there. It's a great way to see faces instead of just someone's words on a forum. You learn new stuff just bumping elbows that you wouldn't otherwise get -- even when you think you know it all. Maybe even you and Blevins can sit and have a beer -- oh wait, that's a 'before hell freezes over' kind of thing, sorry. MeyerLouie (g)
  13. ------------------------------------------------------------ This is great, but it doesn't help us this year, 2012. It would be nice to maybe meet up with a lot of people at the Ariel Days celebration this year. I'll keep an eye out for you..... MeyerLouie
  14. Mr. Science, How did the Cooper money get to Tena Bar. I await your simple, honest answer. I'll sleep better once I have it. 377 ----------------------------------------------------------- Mr. Science, 377's question has been my #1 question since joining the forum. Please, what is the simple, honest answer, Mr. Science? I thirst for knowledge --new knowledge. MeyerLouie
  15. ----------------------------------------------------------- Last I heard, Jerry was pretty upset about someone on the forum revealing some personal information on the forum re: his family. He was really upset about that, still is I think. MeyerLouie
  16. This is one of the down sides of anonymity for you. It's hard to check on things when you want to hide under a rock all the time. When people get criticized, it's considered polite to at least ID yourself a bit, or give your background. THAT creates credibility for the critic. For example, if a fifth-grader from Kankakee, Illinois wrote me and said the last three books I edited were done badly, I might not pay attention. But if an editor from Random House told me this...well, you can see where this is going. From your posts, I suspect you know what you are doing when you climb into the cockpit of an airplane, maybe even a military jet. I actually think this is cool. One of our cleaning customers is a retired Eagle driver who now consults on the Raptor program. The major artwork in his home is...you guessed it...busts of eagles, paintings of eagles, and pictures of F-15's. He was a squadron commander. Maybe you are as cool as he is, who knows? But then no one REALLY knows one way or another, do they?
  17. I dont think antibiotics or even venom is effective against viruses. Perhaps a retrovirus is what you are looking for, but they come with their own set of very scary problems. Viruses can be killed by burning, but then the host is toast. Even burning at the stake wont kill prions. Quarantine is probably the best answer Farf. I feel I must be missing some critical thinking section in my brain. I just dont see Blevins the way everyone else does. Sure he is repetitive and mercurial at times (off again on again about symposiums and his future presence on the forum), but he says Kenny=DBC isnt certain and he gives away his book FREE. I met him at the Ariel Tavern and he seemed like a decent guy, does a lot of work to help kids get interested in reading etc. Tom Kaye turned out to be a good guy too, even if you disagree with some of his conclusions. He may not have a science degree but he is sharp and logical. ------------------------------------------------------------ WITHOUT A SCIENCE DEGREE, YOU DON'T HAVE ANY CREDENTIALS, PERIOD, SHARP, SMART, LOGICAL OR OTHERWISE. TK ADMITTED HE SCREWED UP WITH THE SILVER/COOPER BILLS ANALYSIS -- THE FBI USES SILVER AND OTHER COMPOUNDS FOR LIFTING FINGERPRINTS OFF OF BILLS. ALSO, THE TITANIUM HE FOUND WAS POSSIBLY FROM THE TIE CLIP ITSELF (IF I'M READING GG'S EXPLANATION IN SKYJACK CORRECTLY). THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS SPENT (HIS OWN MONEY THANK GOODNESS), AND TK COMES UP EMPTY. THE GOOK ON THE TIE WAS JUST GOOK. A REAL SCIENTIST PROBABLY WOULDN'T HAVE MADE SUCH BASIC, RIDICULOUS BLUNDERS SUCH AS THESE. IF YOU DON'T HAVE THE PROPER EDUCATION AND TRAINING IN SCIENTIFIC INQUIRY, YOU ARE NOT GOING TO BE CREDIBLE, PERIOD. AND I HAVEN'T EVEN NENTIONED TK'S WIMPY WRITE-UPS AND CONCLUSTIONS--DON'T GET ME STARTED. HOW ABOUT ENTRUSTING SOMEONE WITH REAL CREDENTIALS IN SCIECE -- WE HAVE ONE RIGHT HERE ON THIS FORUM, AND I THINK YOU WHO I AM TALKING ABOUT? ------------------------------------------------------------ I found in talking with him that a lot gets taken out of context, e.g. his comments about a ship dragging DBC money upstream. He doesnt think that actually happened, he was just asked for any explanation of how money could ever go upstream. ------------------------------------------------------------ IT'S LIKE CELEBRITIES MAKING RIDICULOUS COMMENTS PUBLICLY THEN LATER HAVING TO RETRACT AND APOLOGIZE. IF YOU DON'T WANT TO BE TAKEN OUT OF CONTEXT, OR IF THERE'S ANY POSSIBILITY THAT IT COULD HAPPEN -- THEN DON'T SAY IT. IT TAKES SOME SAVVY AND THOUGHT TO THINK ABOUTTHE CONSEQUENCES BEFORE THE FACT. 377, YOU SOUND LIKE A LAWYER. MeyerLouie ------------------------------------------------------------ BTW, what about the titanium Tom found on the tie, has that very interesting subject just died? ------------------------------------------------------------ AS STATED EARLIER, DIDNT' GG INDICATE THAT THE TITANIUM COULD HAVE COME FROM THE TIE CLASP ITSELF? MeyerLouie ------------------------------------------------------------ Anyone who can keep an ancient scanning electron microscope running without factory support gets points from me. Tom does that. His friend Al owns and maintains one too. It isnt easy and involves, among other things, component level troubleshooting on circuit boards. ------------------------------------------------------------ OKAY, TK IS A BRIGHT, SMART GUY -- HE MAY EVEN BE A GENIUS... BUT THAT DOESN'T MAKE HIM A CREDENTIALED SCIENTIST. MeyerLouie ----------------------------------------------------------- Carol's presentation on Dan Cooper comics was so well done, I just wish I had a video. I wish Geoff would convene another symposium, but I guess we need some new DBC news or we will mostly be rehashing old stuff. Polyanna signing off. 377
  18. Robert: Yes, that was in the first edition of the book. That book was pulled, revised, re-edited, and 12,000 words and several additional chapters added. ------------------------------------------------------------ SO BLEVINS, I GUESS IT'S JUST A MISTAKE NOW. NO LIES, JUS HONEST MISTAKES. YOU JUST CAN'T HELP YOURSELF, CAN YOU? YOU JUST KEEP DIGGING A BIGGER AND BIGGER HOLE FOR YOURSELF. MAKE YOUR POSTS NO LONGER THAN 3-SENTENCE PARAGRAPHS. THAT WAY, THERE IS LESS CHANCE FOR YOU TO GET CAUGHT WITH YOUR FOOT IN YOUR MOUTH. MeyerLouie ___________________________________________________ Robert: I don't recall telling Bruce Smith this. If you are referring to his so-called 'interview,' it was a poor excuse for an interview. He became a bit hostile when I refused to give him the names of the witnesses. I may have even told him this to blow him off. The only place he published that 'interview' was at Dropzone. I think the mistaken reference to Scott happened because of a mix-up between Skipp Porteous and myself. If you read the Credits and Acknowledgements page on Blast, you'll notice an entire page of names and organizations I had to work with to do the book. I do remember warning Porteous that I thought the original book had flaws. Farflung: Was claiming that you were confused by phones and emails the truth or a lie? Robert: Truth. I have over 300 emails from Porteous, and then there were all the OTHERS, from people like the head editor for the Reno Gazette, a couple of NWA historians, the list goes on. Meanwhile, I was busy traveling all over the Northwest trying to get to the bottom of the story on Christiansen. You think doing all that without a single mistake is easy? (*laughs*) You try it. Farflung: Is claiming that only 30 copies of this were sold make it OK to lie, as long as it is only to 30 or less people? Robert: A lie is when you deliberately make something up that you know is not true. The Scott reference was a mistake. There is a difference. It was one of the reasons I canceled publication of the book. Farflung: What’s the name of the despicable person who made up this garbage? Shouldn’t this type of person not only attract, but receive venom? Robert: Personal decision by people to do that. But on the other hand, many of these same people ignore the witness testimony, the documents, the lies by Geestman, and the other evidence. In any case, if you write a Cooper book and you decide to say you are fairly sure your guy was THE guy...then expect some heat. Cause you will get it. On the other side of the coin, I get a lot of supportive emails and sometimes people ask legit questions. I made Blast a free download and more than 1,500 people took advantage. Normally, I would make about $3,100 on those sales. It's obvious I'm not involved in the Cooper case to make a buck. Anyone can get a copy free if they ask. Farflung: Gosh, I wonder if by asking for one example, where RobertMBlevins lied, was meant rhetorically or simply as an example of an opus magnum offering of irony? That is asking for just ‘one’ lie, when there is a bumper crop of, blue ribbon whoppers, to display at the Deception and Self Delusion Pavilion at the State of Confusion Fair. Hmmm…. I dunno, I’m not smart enough to figure that out. Sure was good to be all polite while this malignant data tumor grew and grew, instead of using some antibiotics (aka: venom) to kill this virus before the patient ended up in an iron lung. Robert: Now I have some questions for YOU: Why did Bernie Geestman tell History Channel that he thought KC could be the hijacker, when multiple witnesses place him WITH Christiansen the entire week of the hijacking? Was Geestman lying about being gone to sea with Foss Tugs ten to eleven months the year of the hijacking? (Hint: They say he wasn't) Was Geestman lying when he said he knew nothing about the arrangements on the 5K loan to his sister, or the purchase of Kenny's house...when he asked for the loan and delivered it...and the house was purchased from one of his best friends? (Ann and Joe Grimes of Puyallup, WA) Was Geestman's sister lying when she said she and some of her friends suspected KC was the hijacker from the start? Was she lying when she ID'd the tie tack before she knew its significance? Was she lying when she told Marisa Kagan at History Channel that she was sticking by everything she said previously? Was Helen Jones lying when she said Kenny smoked Raleigh cigarettes, and that Kenny admitted to her six weeks after the hijacking that he was with Geestman at the time of the hijacking? Was Carolyn Tyner lying when she said that the story was true about a plastic bag of 20's being found on the hill just out back of Kenny's house a few months after his death? Multiple Choice Question: Which one of these two people is lying: Bernie, who immediately pointed to his ex Margaret as being involved with Kenny in the hijacking? Or is it Margaret, who in six interviews pointed to her ex Bernie as being involved? (In her last interview, she admits on video and digital audio recorder that Kenny could have been involved) Why did Kenneth 'Mac' McWilliams, the guy who was left the lot out back of Kenny's house, disappear after he gave an interview to Geoff Gray in 2007? When he heard from his apartment manager in Yakima that Porteous was trying to contact him, he moved out just three days later. He gave Porteous as the reason and knew exactly who Porteous was, since he obviously knew about the Geoff Gray article. No one knows where he is now. (Mac is the guy who did personal care for Kenny as he was dying. The house itself was left to Carolyn Tyner and her then-husband Robin. McWilliams sold the trees off the lot as soon as probate cleared, then the lot itself, and moved away.) Was the West One bank in Sumner lying when they presented Lyle Christiansen with over $200,000 after Kenny's death? (Maybe they were just in a giving mood) Was Geestman telling the truth on Decoded when he claimed that Kenny left Shemya before he did? Don't bother to answer that one. Yes, he lied. Kenny was there for at least two years AFTER Geestman went back to Seattle. Here's the difference between a lie and an error: If I say that Scott and the hijacker spoke, and it turns out I was wrong about that, that's an error. This is obvious because the actions of the crew on 305 have been fairly well documented. If I tell you that Margaret Geestman admitted to me outright that she knew absolutely that Christiansen was the hijacker and that her ex and she were involved in money laundering with him...that would be a lie. Was SA Fred Gutt at the Seattle FBI lying when he said this to me in an email: Or this:
  19. ----------------------------------------------------------- Jo, I read you loud and clear, I have never before, up to this point, made any political statements, and I won't from now on. My political statement was meant to illustrate and strengthen the argument I was making. I surely could have used a different example to drive home my point. I won't do it again. Sorry to all. Meyer Louie
  20. Your credibility just went down the drain with that all-cap statement. You know that, right? ------------------------------------------------------------ Don't think so Blevins. The fact that I don't have much use for the contributions of Tom Kaye or Barack Obama has nothing to do with credibility. You love both, so I'm not surprised you're disappointed by my opinion. You, on the other hand, are the last person on this forum to criticize anyone abouth 'credibility.' Simply put, you don't have any! Your lack of credibility is why you are such a venom magnet. You regularly say things, without really thinking, off the top of your head, that are either untrue, ludicrous, unfounded, and/or unsubstantiated. Maybe you ought to try thinking about what you are about to say before you say it. I have said repeatedly that you constantly confuse your assumptions with reality. So many people here react so negatively to you -- don't you think there might be something to it? If just one person had a problem with your credibility, I would wonder. But it's several people, so there just might be something to it. Ya think! MeyerLouie
  21. No need to take a third chute for survival. if there is a main and a reserve plus the containers and lines for both you have a hell of a lot of material to "improvise" with. I have trained hundreds of college boys how to cut up C-9 canopies for making shelters( A-frame or lean-to or full blown teepees) and clothing out of. Risers make great pack straps... and belts... we even taught them how to make multi-strand ropes out of suspension lines..... the list is endless with what you can make. Plus.. no one in their right mind would bail and try to hold onto the damn thing. I think Frank Heyl was talking about just the main chute and the reserve front "X" chute. I believe DBC left two chutes on the plane -- one chute was a good one, left intact and the other was sacrificed for the "rope" needed to tie up the money bag and then attach the bag to himself. Correct me if I'm wrong. Wouldn't it be something if one or both of those chutes could be found someday.
  22. Even as old and decrepit as I am.. I could do that jump and survive.. given the same gear. AND the same conditions. THOUSANDS of US Army Air Corp personnel saved their lives by bailing from their shot up aircraft .. many of them in far worse weather with aircraft far harder to get out of. Most of them ended up as POW's. agreed, let me ask this, how would you have done the jump? and what would you have done with the "X" chute? I would go down the stairs so I could look down and forward looking for any light coming up thru the clouds..to give me an idea of the "spot". But then again I only have about 30 or so night jumps I have jumped a few times with some "industrial haze" and if there is light below.. it lights up the "industrial haze" REAL nice The X reserve would be tossed I know what a good reserve looks like.. I have a similar rig to what he jumped and have at least 3 belly warts out in the loft. several have said they would toss the "X" chute, can we believe Cooper did? if I was in his spot and didn't have much knowledge of jumping, I probably would have went down the stairs sideways with both hands on one rail, as for the "style" of leaving the stairs? since I'm not a jumper, I think I''ll leave that one alone ----------------------------------------------------------- It seems somewhat probable that the "X" chute would have been found by now if tossed. That tiny little placard card from the aft stairway was found afterall. True, the "X" chute is bigger, bulkier, so there's more chance of it getting hung up in a briar patch or treetop. It seems to me,though, DBC would have been more apt to toss the briefcase -- since it was so bulky and awkward to carry and stap on -- unless the briefcase served a useful purpose -- like carrying some of the money, or harboring a homing device, or carrying the road flares for a starting a fire later. If DBC tossed either or both, then they're still out there, and if you find 'em, you're going to be famous. One more thing: in Mr. H's book, page 125, Fank Heyl, survival expert, says DBC could easily have taken the "X" chute --for survival purposes after the landing. It's part of military training.
