On the other hand, you argue that Mexicans should not be referred to as Latino because they are descended from Aztecs. However, this was never your criteria for what should or should not be called Latino.     I do hope that good comes of the situation eventually. What choice do I have? However, many of us felt from the start that what happened was a big mistake and we have not forgotten that, especially now that it is becoming clearer and clearer that the American public was lied to in the service of making that mistake. I would like to see all of those responsible for what has happened be held accountable for it. Rather, I see many people washing their hands of it, saying that the situation is as it is and we must make the best of it. There is a reason why the situation is as it is.
