  1. Ahhh dogs and cats love you if you pet them and cats even purr! If a hooker purrs she's faking it. Heck why just limit it too hookers? Don't most girls fake it just to boost our egos?
  2. Hookers don't brimg unconditional love. A hooker really isnt a pet. Just my opinion.
  3. Thanks Wendy. It is a balancing act because I don't want to keep him alive for my selfishness and as long as I spend as much time with him I can talk soothingly stroke gently he is ok. I am in touch with the vet and talked very seriusly about putting him down now but vet thinks time isnt yet and I am willing to do as much as possible to make him comfortable.
  4. I'm resurrecting an old thread here but right now I have a dying cat. The cat comes first before skydiving and a three day weekend. If someone wont take seriously the responisibilities of a pet and puts skydiving first my suggestion is a pet rock. The unconditional love they bring deserves to be first.
  5. Hollywood has to be accepted for what it is. Untruth's happen in every TV show and movie they put out about every topic. My favorite film is Streisand's "Funny Girl" which is supposed to be a biography of Fanny Brice but actually has little or nothing to do with her real life. So just kick back and enjoy the shows for what they are.
  6. Agreed 100% that calling people wuffo's isnt nice and is in same kindred as using the n word. Other people have their own interests and maybe we could validate the sport by HONESTLY being interested in their hobbies rather than back to me and skydivng skydiving skydiving. The world revolves around diversity and we as skydivers owe it to others to live and let live.
  7. I think we need to respond intelligently to people who comment about skydiving. They comment because of lack of understanding and that is not their fault. I might comment to someone about water skiing which I know nothing about and sound really stupid. The point is cut people a break if we want to promote the sport. And we should care about what people think if we want to remain reputable but we obviously can not make people think something. We can only educate them to the best of our abilities. Maybe some of us actually have bigger heads and think others really give a damn when they don't and are just trying to make conversation.
  8. What do you do when you go to a dropzone and feel too many corners are being cut? Sure I have looked away a few times and jumped anyway but if 3 or 4 things stick out and don't seem right do you say later dudes? Or do you say oh well I'll take the chance and jump anyway because it's all a risk. Thoughts anyone?
