  1. Absolutely. A heterosexual man for womens rights would be a feminist. Some would argue a man can't be a feminist, but I don't believe that to be true. And there is the obvious lesbian woman who is a feminist. But I didn't think you wanted a serious answer.

    RIP Robin Gibb

Another one gone who entertained us. How mundane would life be without these artists? RIP

    RIP Donna Summer

It's interesting. Donna's ambitions were initially broadway. She got a supporting role in a touring production of Hair which went to Europe. It was there she met the people who introduced her to disco and she reluctantly went into it because at heart she was rock n roll. It would have been great for her to do starring roles on broadway because she had the voice for it but I don't think doors opened for black females in leading roles until recent times with Audra McDonald.
  4. Do you really need an explanation? It wasn't meant to be negative.
  5. Thanks for letting us know that May comes with that in mind. Now tell us about April and June.
  6. If yoy guys and gals want to wear a closing pin necklace by all means wear it. I prefer my Claddagh ring, my Tigers eye ring and my watch. I would get a chuckle from a bowler who wears a minature bowling ball or bowling pin necklace (and most certainly someone must make them) just like I get a chuckle from the closing pin necklace but I keep my chuckles discreet. but you wear an antiquated irish motif and a kids marble for jewellry Yep. And don't care what you think about it.

  8. Whatever floats your boat. Closing pin jewelry doesn't float mine and has no meaning to me. I don't need to have a secret code with other skydivers. Usually if I'm at a social place and it is approppriate to the conversation then I will bring it up. Sometimes I meet other people that are interesting and their stories are great that I just listen. So if I buy jewelry it will be real jewelry for a fun night on the town.
  9. Thanks Wendy. Good advice. Right now he still has some quality of life. And it is well worth in my opinion to be with him on the weekends rather than go to the dz. I love the sport but BG is more important right now. I hope he lasts comfortably more than 6 months! After he dies the opportunity for recurrency isn't going away so no big deal!
  10. same here.....used to have the falling dream. once a skydiver, it stopped. Interesting. Just the opposite with me. I never dreamt I was in freefall until I started skydiving. The dreams are fun freefall dreams not scary ones.

    RIP Donna Summer

Thank you for your beautiful voice! Another legend has passed from cancer.
  12. Is SHAH'S last name Bates? That would make him now MASTER BATES!
  13. That's a good point. If a blind person had the runs how could he be sure there isn't anythjng drippin down his leg? I compulsively wipe. Don't like melted hershey stains in underwear.
  14. ...my guess would be a fishing expedition for email addies. I doubt it. My company looked into using survey monkey for its customers and from what I heard it was an expensive application. Think this survey is legit.
  15. I took your survey and hope you get the sample you need.
  16. Thank you for the responses. I do feel now that keeping him alive now is right for the time being after hearing what everyone has to so. I truly appreciate all your input.
  17. Thanks Lisa. I just want to do the right thing. Not hold onto him for my selfishness but not put him down if he isn't ready. It really is a harder decision as you get older. When I was a teen and had German Shepard with leukemia my parents who were both working asked me to have him put down after school. I had no problem being with him when given the shot. But as an adult it is so different. Guess kids are more resiliant than we give them credit for.
  18. I have a 14 year old cat who was diagnosed with digestive tract cancer. As a kid I always preferred dogs and never thought I'd become attached to a cat but he turned out to be the most loyal pet ever. The vet said I will know when it's time. But this is confusing me. He doesn't seem to be in pain and is still eating but sleeps mostly the rest of the time. When he is awake and aware he wants my attention. Do you think I'm prolonging his misery? He does seem content just not his vibrant self. Any guidelines especially from veterinary professionals is appreciated.
  19. To each their own but if I'm going to wear jewelry I'd rather get dressed up for a night on the town and wear the classy stuff if I could afford it. Don't have a need to advertise to skydiver or non-jumper that I jump by wearing necklace. It's cool if that's your thing not knocking it just not for me.
  20. Perris has two excellent schools on the dz. I prefer the smaller school which is where I did my AFF because it doesn't have that "factory" feel and I believe you get more individual attention. It was a 4 1/2 hr drive each way for me and well worth it. I believe most likely you are much closer.
  21. It's ok for amyone if that's what they choose. But if I were goimg to wear closing pin jewelry it would have to be unique like a closing pin Prince Albert or whatever.
