  1. I would think the HIPPA laws would protect the privacy of the patient. Interesting since they just went into effect in 2003.

  3. I'm 54 and feel better after going to the gym. Nothing too strenuous but some light weights about 45 minutes each day diff body part then 20 minutes of cardio. It doesnt make life perfect but helps a bit.
  4. I think he is great and I'm catholic! My great aunt thought he was wonderful and is the one who introduced me to his humor. She was one who went to church every sunday took communion went to confession the whole bit. And she loved him!
  5. Hey JT! About a month ago went to funeral of 43 yr old female coworker who drank herself to death. Beautiful 8 yr old daughter and husband who tried to get her help about a year ago but your right. She didnt want the help for whatever reason. The sadest thing seeing little girl at funeral. Just dont understand.
  6. Even if you are not religious I would seek the advice of someone in the clergy after I've asked around to see who has a good reputation. I don't go to church but do know the Catholic priest in town and despite all the problems the church has had I think most of that has been taken care of. I would trust the guy in my town before the parole officer but discretely ask friends which clergy has empathy in your town and let your conscience guide you. If they are decent and know their job a good one should have experience with a situation like yours.

I'm stuck on the remaining two. You are obviously educated in theatre and thought for sure Moliere's The Imaginary Invalid (aka The Hypochondriac) was The Overachieving Patient.

  10. I updated my profile. The fact is I do not own a computer and am doing this from a second generation kindle which is slow and why I make a lot of spelling mistakes. Sorry you thought I could be just another troll. But even trolls have something to say!
  11. You stated "share withe me one other thing he's done that he's known for". I and at least one other gave you an answer which has nothing to do with politics blah blah blah. The fact is he has done many other things and you chose not to acknowledge these things. Then why in the world did you ask to share other things he's done?
  12. Without looking anything up I can think immediately of at least two other things going for him. "The Hippy Dippy Weatherman" and for his dramatic not comic role as the suicidal poets neighbor in "The Prince of Tides". Anyone who has made it as big as George Carlin certainly had plenty going on. To not recognize that is comparable to saying the only thing Carol Burnett is known for is tugging her ear. Phyllis Diller was also a concert pianist. These people worked hard in many areas to get to the top. But I'm certain some people will only remember Carol for tugging her ear and Phyllis for her messed up hair.

You are one of the few who remembers The Trouble With Angels! My father was raised in the orphanage in Ambler PA where that and the sequel was filmed. A week after the sequel finished filming (which he didnt know was being filmed) he took us kids up to meet the nuns who raised him. I remember this elderly nun named Sister Gentila who sad the fans couldnt tell the real nuns from the movie stars so they were coming to both for autographs.. Sister Gentila just politely signed her signature as if she were a movie star! I got a kick out of that.

I wrote it as The Sound of Music but The Sound of Silence works better. Have you figured Yell You Mister Talking in the Sun (hint both musicals) or Envelopes on the Table (hint Carrie Fisher)

    Dear Aggie,

My sister was pulled over years ago by an unmarked car and she was doing nothing wrong. It was night and she was suspicious so so just lowered her window a little. The guy dressed as a cop must have sensed her suspicion and just said be careful and left. She called the police department in that township the next day and they told her there were no unmarked cop cars in that area at that time. She was very lucky.
