Sounds like your body doesn't like red meat, and therefore probably doesn't need it. We all have very different bodies, and a diet that is perfect for one person is not necessarily good for another. I've found (for me anyway) that eating whatever my body is craving seems to work best, and since I've been doing this I find that I eat more balanced than I ever did before. I seem to eat red meat about once a week (when I'm craving it), and I always feel good and energized after eating it - it's never made me sick. I never eat huge portions of it, but I don't eat huge portions of anything. All the various theories about what's good or bad for you seem to change so frequently that I think people are better off listening to their bodies than paying too much attention to the current trends in diet (not that you shouldn't pay some attention)... And, as I've already mentioned, realizing that everyone has different needs.
-
Yeah, I agree with you guys - gotta have the red meat!
-
Ok, well that's probably a good thing ;-) Smoking is never good for you... You don't really look like a dork - I was just kidding... but I do think you would look better in black pants.
-
Dude, you do look like a dork ;-) Some people look good in those kind of clothes, but what you need is an AC/DC shirt and a bong and I think you'll be lookin' alright I hear they're hiring at Square One
-
Hmmm... I wonder if she'll have any of that stuff in her book?? Probably not...
-
I would have to say "None of the Above" (or "All of the Above")... I think the hottest skydivers are those who are jumping simply because they love to jump and not trying to impress anyone else with ratings or being a bad-ass... (and I am in no way implying that everyone who is really good is only doing it to impress everyone else) But that's what I find "hot" in a skydiver... Now if we're talking about a jump pilot who owns a helicopter and a hot air balloon and has lots of money, well I might be able to overlook any personality flaws...

God I am embarrassed to say this, but I would actually buy Hillary's book first... It's mind-blowing to me how she can continue to stay married to someone like Bill (even if it might be only to advance her own career???) so I'm curious to hear her story... Either she's an extremely strong person or a total idiot, but either way it should be interesting... Yes I deserve to be flamed.

Ok, just for the record I am a complete moron... I just posted in the BASE Zone again and it is pretty much just like the Incidents Forum except for the "Before You Post" link at the top - but that is not the title of the "Guidelines". Ok, I'll put the crack pipe down now and shut up for a while...
-
Well only if we can get him drunk and stoned enough to remember everything correctly! But seriously, that would be a great book... Nick does have a way with words.
-
Very funny
-
Yeah, but it's not done the same way as in the BASE Zone - that one seems to be a little more noticeable, maybe because it is titled "Before You Post!" instead of "Incident Forum Guidelines" (which sounds like something most people would ignore ;) - maybe "Before You Post" just grabs the attention a bit more? (and there's also a link called "Before you post" on the main BASE forum page instead of only when you go to post)
-
Sorry to hear that. Losing a pet is always hard. Hopefully the other two will cheer you up. It's good that they still have each other, and that they have found a good home
-
I was just thinking about this too... Hey Sangiro, the idea of putting the "Before You Post" section in the BASE Zone was a great idea and seems to be working pretty well - what about doing the same thing with the Incidents forum? That might cut down on a lot of the unnecessary posts that end up there.
-
Hmmm... they had obviously seen your list, so you would think they could have taken two minutes to look over it for Jean's name... Gotta love the media! (Well at least they didn't kill you too ;-)

like having a beer for breakfast? (Sorry, I'm a bad influence...)
-
It is definitely cheaper to use those services (unless you buy a huge wholesale supply of paper and ink). I print a lot of pictures from home, so I compared my costs to what it would cost to use one of those services and it looks like I'm spending about twice as much doing it at home (obviously that will vary depending on where you buy from and how much you buy at once). Now I continue to print from home anyway because I want complete control and instant gratification , but I'm definitely spending more money that way...

your bible???

Ok I was lame and missed the sunset load, but I was working... well sort of anyway... Actually the only reason I ended up at the Bombshelter was because Misty (the bartender) was having a rough day and needed help with her dogs, so I had to go get her house key... So everyone be extra nice to Misty this weekend I was kinda glad I didn't run into the dz.com people because I have too much work to do tomorrow and I have a feeling you people are a bad influence But I will find out this weekend... Yeah, sorry to hear about that JP - hope they gave you some good drugs
-
Hey! Where is everybody? I'm up here in the Bombshelter and there doesn't seem to be anyone from dz.com here! Are you all a bunch of lightweights or what? Fine, I'm going home... Somebody better be here Saturday though Oh yeah, and sorry about the leg Deuce!
-
Maybe it's "Peppermint", again !! Hmmm... Did I miss something with Peppermint???
-
Yeah, much like those of us who read dropzone.com I had a life once, but I got bored with it...
-
That's kinda weird... but it sounds like "Veronica" is a fictional character and not a real person - of course she could be based on someone he knows at the dz... The idea of writing erotic skydiving fiction is kinda cool though - maybe Parachutist should include a Penthouse-Forum-type section
-
Yeah, that was a fun time (from what little I remember of it ;-) Are you gonna be at the boogie this weekend?
-
No, I haven't been working at the dz in a long time... But I was working at the phone/internet sales office until a couple of months ago... until they kicked me out... (just kidding ;-)
