Yeah, I noticed a couple of the action scenes were pretty long - but I thought they were funny... It almost seemed like they were being "tongue in cheek", like "How ridiculously long and how much damage can we actually do in one scene?" Like that one scene where they destroyed car after car after car after.... I was almost in tears laughing at that one.

Ha Ha! Yeah, it would be fun to have him as a governor, but I can't really vote for him because that Teminatress programmed him into an evil Republican! I think someone needs to reprogram him!

Finally went to see T-3 yesterday, and it was awesome! I loved the first two movies (especially T-2), and I wasn't sure if they could pull off a third one - but I think they did a pretty damn good job of it! The story was excellent... My only complaint was that John Connor looked almost nothing like he did in T-2. The actor did a good job, but couldn't they find someone that looked more like the original actor??? Hell, it's been so long since T-2 that the original actor would have been about the right age now to play the part - I wonder why they didn't just use him? I missed Linda Hamilton too, but her character didn't fit in with the story this time anyway... Anyhow, I thought it was a great movie... And they left it wide open for a T-4! Now I will definitely vote for Arnie as new governor of CA! (just kidding ;)
  5. "Do not stand at my grave and weep, I am not there, I do not sleep. I am a thousand winds that blow. I am the diamond glint on snow. I am the sunlight on ripened grain. I am the gentle autumn rain. When you awake in the morning hush, I am the swift, uplifting rush Of quiet birds in circling flight. I am the soft starlight at night. Do not stand at my grave and weep. I am not there, I do not sleep." (by Mary Frye) Blue Skies, Keely
  6. Nice family... suing the Church - and how would "God" feel about that??? If they're really gonna believe that there is such a thing as "Hell" then they might as well believe that people do actually go there - including those in their family who don't follow the "rules" that "God" created.
  7. Sending lots of good VIBES for Eric! Blue Skies! Keely
  8. I think She Loves You But that's just a Day in the Life...
  9. Nine Inch Nails - "The Downward Spiral" (my favorite album of all time :) Pink Floyd - "The Wall" Alice Cooper - "Welcome to My Nightmare" The Who - "Tommy" PJ Harvey - "To Bring You My Love" (but ALL of her albums are among my favorites)
  10. Ok well now I've ended up going to the damn Faster Pussycat website and it looks like they're actually still at it! (I'm pretty sure there was something productive I was supposed to be doing today??? ;) Maybe I'll try to check him out at the Viper Room sometime... I think I like that club, but it seems like every time I go there I can never seem remember anything!
  11. Nice hair :-) But where are the leather pants!??? ;-)
  12. That's cool... That place was my favorite stomping ground in the early 90's - then the place just kinda died there for a while - I haven't been back there in ages, but it's good to hear it's still going... I'll have to drop in the next time I'm in Austin... After I got older and "more mature" (yeah right ;) I started hanging at the Continental Club on South Congress, and that's been my main hangout ever since... (except I'm living in California right now, so the Bombshelter Bar on the Perris DZ is my hangout ;)
  13. Got your number off the bathroom wall... Faster Pussycat :-)
  14. Man, now I've gotta bust out all my old 80's tapes... Dirty Looks, Faster Pussycat, Smashed Gladys, The Headpins, Hanoi Rocks, Dangerous Toys, LA Guns, Motley Crue, Guns-n-Roses... Oh and PhillyKev: I liked some of the thrash stuff too ;-) (old Metallica, Megadeth, M.D.C., M.O.D. - were they the same as S.O.D.?)
  15. Yeah I remember going to see Pantera a few times when they were a glam band back in the 80's ("Cowboys from Hell")... They used to play a lot at Joe's Garage in Fort Worth...
  16. Oh yeah, I don't remember that song... but I do remember seeing those guys at a club (The Back Room) in Austin, TX, back in 1990 I think... pretty hot stuff back then. Hey I wouldn't mind if the metal glam look came back in style... those boys all looked hot back then with all the makeup and teased hair and tight leather pants - isn't that what rock-n-roll's all about? (Motely Crue from the "Shout at the Devil" album - I drooled over that album cover for a LONG time ;-)
  17. Ok, well these aren't really "boobies", but they are nice artistic photos if you're bored. (probably still NSFW though ;)
  18. Depends on how much Jack Daniels I drank the night before! Oh wait, I never fart because I'm a lady...
  19. I know... I'm just being silly.
  20. Ok, well I'm not from ANY h-town, so I'll butt out now.
  21. I think Houston might be referred to as h-town sometimes too???
  22. I never said I didn't like him. Just thought it was interesting that they're considering impeachment... If it turns out he did lie about reasons for going to war, that would be a pretty big "no no"... worse than Clinton's lying under oath... but I hope that turns out NOT to be the case...
