Oh well, so much for asking nicely... guess I can't mention God without some people feeling the need to argue about it.

Being a skydiver who is only mildly interested in BASE jumping, I find this forum useful because I can check it without having to go to another site (since I am often on dropzone.com anyway). I really only check it to see news or videos - stuff like that (and then I occasionally check the BASE Board when I have time). Any time I have wanted technical information though, I have asked it on the BASE Board. It seems to me that this forum is aimed more at people like me than the hardcore BASE jumpers, so I don't really see any problem with it being here. I also don't see any reason why anyone should feel they have to post on both sites - maybe if they only posted stuff on the BASE Board and didn't repeat it here then people would start turning to the BASE Board more??? (Or if there is something new posted on the BASE Board that skydivers might be interested in, perhaps instead of repeating it here someone could just post a quick note in this forum saying "Hey, check this out on the BASE Board" or something like that, so that people have to go there to read it.)

Sure, if we only had one toothbrush for some reason. Otherwise, I prefer to have my own.

Because any "discussion" on this topic will inevitably turn into a debate, or more likely an argument, which is not what I'm after (and it might lead to the thread getting locked, which would allow for less votes). There are plenty of other threads on this topic for people to argue in.
