Oh yeah, I forgot about that movie... Definitely very HOT too.
-
There's a movie called "Meridian: Kiss of the Beast" that has some very sexy scenes in it. It stars Sherilyn Fenn, and it is basically an R-rated version of the classic "Beauty and the Beast" story. Very nice.
-
For something "different", I'll recommend Blue Movie by Terry Southern. It's a very funny and entertaining story about the making of an "upscale" porn movie. For a "must-read classic", have you read The Fountainhead by Ayn Rand? That's one of my favortie books. I still haven't read her Atlas Shrugged, but I hear that's really good too. Time Enough for Love by Robert Heinlein is another favorite of mine and a classic. (I wish the world and people were really the way they are in this book!) I just can't seem to find time to read books anymore!

Me too... Buck Owens is cool.
-
Yeah, I was gonna say the scenes with Anne Heche and Joan Chen in that movie... or some of the 9 1/2 Weeks scenes... basically the same as from the "sexiest character" thread...

Are you a Christian, Bill? I wouldn't have thought so, but now I am curious... As for the original question... Judging from some of the polls on this forum, I'm guessing around half of the people at most dz's ARE Christian, so I don't know why anyone would be afraid of being shunned because of it... But I can't honestly think of even one time where religion has ever come up in any of my conversations at the dz... I personally don't care what religion anyone believes in as long as they're not trying to force it on me or make laws based on their religion, etc.

Yum, that sounds pretty good... I'll have to try that.

Sloe Comfortable Screw a cherry-flavored screwdriver 0.5 oz. Sloe gin (has to be Sloe gin because it's the cherry-flavored stuff, any other gin is nasty ;) 0.5 oz. Southern Comfort 0.5 oz. Vodka Pour liquors in a glass with ice. Fill with orange juice. Yummy.

Now wait a minute... this cannot be true, because I drive better than anybody!

That seems like a really good price... but I haven't researched that camera very much (and I don't own one, sorry!). I'm pretty happy with my Coolpix 5700 though.

I am definitely a CAT person. (Sorry, Rosa! ) I don't hate dogs or anything, but I LOVE cats... especially MY cats.

Mmmmmmmmm.....that description also fits ANY Rap video Yeah, I was thinking about rap music as I was writing that post... But I don't really like any of that "gangsta" rap. The only rap that I like seems to have an OK message... like most of Eminem's stuff and some of 50 Cent - well, the song of his that I like is about sex & drugs, but I think that's OK.
-
I downloaded that video a while back... It gave me the creeps. I actually sort of liked the music, but I certainly can't say I liked the message.
-
No, because they taste like gin.
-
Gin is nasty... tastes like a Christmas tree.

I believe I am the only person in the world with my full name (the way it is spelled) too... But, for that exact reason, I don't like posting my full name on this kind of forum. It's a strange feeling though, isn't it?

That's funny... Me too! 1. I can voluntarily make my pupils dilate and contract. 2. I once had my picture in Hustler Magazine (but I was not naked... not even partially), and... well, that's all I'm gonna say about that.

I don't like beer.

Hey, how'd you know that? Has REALLY BIG feet...

Ooh, thanks for the reminder. That's definitely something I want to do while I'm living out here! But hey, you're in Florida now... I would imagine the cruises there are even better - that beautiful Caribbean water! The New Orleans cruise sounds really cool too... except after spending a night at the Quarter, I bet I'd be pretty damn hungover for the first day of the cruise! A lot of people I knew in Austin used to go on the annual Blues Cruise, and apparently it is pretty fun. I guess you'd have to like good blues music though, and be in for some serious partying.

I kill small furry animals... (or Deep Thoughts on Gardening)

Oh, great! Does that mean my gopher is gonna come back twice as big!!!??? If that's the case, explosives are next on the agenda. (Yes, I am definitely turning into Carl from Caddyshack!) I would try quade's carbon monoxide suggestion, but I'm such an idiot that I would probably poison myself or the neighbor's dog or something... Oh well, good luck with the mole! -

Well, as of this morning I don't see any evidence of my gophers returning - no new holes and no dead plants. Though I don't know if one day is long enough to tell if it's working... I did see some mole pellets when I bought the gopher pellets (from Lowe's), so that might be worth a shot... if you're not opposed to killing them, of course... -
That's what I was thinking...

Shotgun replied to Shotgun's topic in The Bonfire
Right, but they're still eating fruits and vegetables and grains, so I'm wondering if (and how) they know if any animals were killed (pests such as gophers or rabbits) or any "natural" animal products (such as manure) used to take care of the crop... Just curious, I don't really have much of an opinion about whether it is right or wrong. I did give a lot of thought to killing the gophers though, before doing it (and lost quite a few plants while I was thinking about it)... but once I made the decision to poison them, then I felt pretty neutral about it. But it made me start thinking about what is involved in taking care of commercial food crops... -

Thanks for the suggestion. I haven't tried that, but I'll look into it. I don't really know where I would let them go though, without simply making them someone else's problem. I sort of live in the desert, so if I let them out in the wild they probably wouldn't find much to eat and would either die anyway or move onto someone else's property where there is vegetation. But it sounds like it's at least worth checking out...
