You said it, babe. And you know I've got the paddle...

You've gotta watch out for those Aussies... I married one... and they're pretty damn freaky.

You left me out. But the only lust I feel is that I want sunshine for breakfast.

I can understand not wanting to change the Constitution specifically for Schwarzenegger, but why do you think that only US-born citizens should be able to run for President? (Or am I mis-understanding the Constitution? The wording doesn't really sound like it's banning foreigners from running for President???)

Do the lefties here really want Michael Moore representing them?
Shotgun replied to Muenkel's topic in Speakers Corner
Hmm, I guess I would be considered a leftie??? But no, I don't want Michael Moore representing me... And if you think that he represents anyone other than himself, well I think you're misunderstanding him. -
Thanks for the idea... Never heard of it or thought of it, but now I'm gonna see if I can get Richard (my husband)... He mostly works at home, so it will be funny at any time of the day! But of course, I'm such a dork that I'll probably end up getting myself instead!

Yep... I have a site that I designed for 800x600 (because the person I was designing it for still uses that resolution)... I have decided recently that I need to change it to a non-fixed size (because it just looks ridiculous on my 1280x1024 screen), but I'm having a hard time with that - looks like I have to re-design the whole thing! Of course, that's my own fault - should have designed it to not be resolution-specific in the first place!

Yeah, when I first saw this thread I thought it was gonna be about Freaky SBS (and his big black thing-a-ma-jig)!

I think the image that Trent Reznor (from NIN) portrays is extremely sexy. I have no idea if he would be that sexy in "real life"... so I would probably prefer to leave that to my imagination. (Mmm, he sure looks nice in that blindfold and those rubber gloves, with his hands handcuffed above him!) And of course I find my husband (Richard) to be quite sexy... He knows all the right things to do to make me "happy"... And we just have so much fun together - like two little unsupervised teenagers living all alone. And I think RoadRash is sexy... She seems like a lot of fun.

It's funny that you used the word "fancy"... Just yesterday, I was telling my cat Iggy that he's a "fancy boy"... as I often do... but when I said it yesterday, I thought "What exactly does that mean anyway?"... So I had to look up the definition, and I guess several definitions fit such as "Of superior grade; fine" or "Bred for unusual qualities or special points." (He's only a mutt cat, but he is an exceptionally luxurious little dude.)

Now that's funny. But I don't think I ever noticed that! I think the last time I saw the whole movie was when I was 18 (15 years ago), so I need to watch it again because there are probably lots of little things like that that I didn't pick up on back then. Hmm, maybe it's about time for a little Spinal Tap viewing party.

Yes, I am jealous... Are you gonna give Freaky Steve some of the green fairy juice?

Are you drinking the Absinthe again?

Why not just have two or three separate men???

I'm taking an algebra class right now that is completely online. It's mostly stuff I learned in highschool, but since I haven't used it in 15 years I am having to re-learn it. I am finding it fairly easy, but I do feel like I am basically teaching myself... so I don't think I would want to take a very difficult subject as an online course. There is a discussion board for the course where we can ask questions and such, and judging from what I read on there I would say a lot of people are having a hard time with it (and also judging from the class grade average that is posted on there). I get the impression that some of them are having problems because of a lack of computer/Internet skills, so I think that's an important consideration too... and having a good computer and high-speed Internet (I would be hating this class without a high-speed connection!)... Since it's "go at your own pace" I usually try to do the tests before the day they're due just in case there are any problems... Oh, and I'm also considering the nursing or paramedic programs.

Gordon Gano is sexy. Metronomes are sexy too. Oh, and network cables.

I've been reading lately about a new drug that might help people to quit smoking (and possibly help with other addictions too). It's called rimonabant, but it sounds like it will still be a while before it's available to the public. Here's a story about it: http://asia.news.yahoo.com/041115/ap/d86caqpg0.html Of course, it's probably better if you can quit without the use of (other) drugs. Good luck!

When I was about 5, I was at a fair and I had just gotten an icecream cone... I was walking around and not looking where I was going (with the icecream cone out in front of me) and I bumped into some woman... and the whole scoop of icecream came off and stuck to her butt. Another time, we were talking about sins and I said that I had committed adultery a few times... So my mom asked me what adultery meant and I replied that it meant to think bad things about adults.

I don't think a person should have to be born here to run for President. I think they should be required to have been a Citizen and lived here for a certain amount of time, but I don't see why the place of birth should matter.

Now that you mention it, I think that's exactly what Bill needs - some bling bling... like a few pounds of gold chains, big diamond earrings, gold teeth and a hot pink fur coat... and of course a big ol' belt buckle like this...

Now I don't feel so bad... I thought it was about a real band the first time I saw it too... but at least I was only 13. I went to a record store and asked if they had any Spinal Tap records... The guy asked if I meant the soundtrack, so I figured it out right then and just said "yeah, the soundtrack"... "Certainly, in the topsy-turvy world of heavy rock, having a good solid piece of wood in your hand is often useful."

You need to watch the video. Awesome, very sexy and very horny.... I'll see if I can dig up a link... Ah, I just looked it up and watched it... Most of it just made me want to vomit and I was starting to think you were joking about the video being sexy... but the last bit was pretty good. Nice surprise ending. Edited to add link: http://www.sputnik7.com/vod/vodartist.jsp?section=music&key=smbu (Very NSFW ;)

This song is also covered lounge-style on the Richard Cheese album I mentioned before. (http://www.dropzone.com/cgi-bin/forum/gforum.cgi?post=1341490#1341490) It's a funny version. What the hell is that song about anyway? The entire lyrics consist of:

Ok, so I've always thought this song was about a vampire... but after writing this yesterday, I started wondering why a song about a vampire would be called "Possum Kingdom"... so I found this interview with the Toadies' bass player (I don't know if anyone else actually cares, but I thought it was interesting): Oh well, I still think it's sexy, and I'll just keep pretending it's about a vampire. The lyrics still work for that:

Funny that you mentioned Lucinda Williams... I was just listening to her last night and thinking of getting one of her CD's. I was listening to "World Without Tears"... but now I'm checking out "Essence" too.
