  1. Hmm... I would threaten to dress YOU up in a collar and tail... but somehow I think you would enjoy it too much. (Now THAT would be a scary thing to find under my pillow... some perverted Canadian dude dressed up like a lizard! )
  2. Oops, I already told him about it... and that it was all your fault. But he thought it was funny... Though I don't think he will really let me dress him up in a frilly collar and a tail. (Hmm, unless I can manage to get him drunk enough. ) Umm.... No, I'm not even gonna touch that one.
  3. That was the first thing I thought of too. I don't know, I'd think it was a bit odd to see a man breastfeeding a baby... But hey, if it works...
  4. I think it was somewhere around the time that I started posting...
  5. That sounds like a post from one of the moderators.
  6. I know you are but what am I? (Umm... yeah, don't answer that. )
  7. Well, it's Frenchy's fault that I'm trying to dress Rich up to look like Freaky Steve... But I have not yet informed Rich that he is now "Frilled Neck Freaky Dick"... I'm sure he'll love it though. Now I just need to find a tail for him...
  8. Well, you should buy whatever vehicle you want and not worry about what other people think about it... But... if it makes you feel any better, this thread shows that a lot of people think women driving trucks is sexy.
  9. It's kinda cool. Nothing better on Homo Depot though? No, that was the best thing I could find to give Freaky Dick the "frilled neck" look.
  10. You say that like it's a bad thing.
  11. Hummm... Frilled Neck Freaky Dick... That's kinda catchy.
  12. Well I do have strange tastes... He's even trained me to like Vegemite!
  13. Aussie + Lizard = OMG! You found Freaky Steve? Yes... Well, actually it's Freaky Richard... or perhaps I should call him Freaky Dick. (I keep telling him he should go by Dick instead of Rich.)
  14. I once found a scorpion under my pillow, when we lived out in the country near Early/Brownwood, TX... We had SO many scorpions out there... One night my stepdad got stung by one and I thought he was gonna die from his reaction - don't think I've ever heard so many expletives at one time. The other weird thing I found in my bed (other than my husband ) was a lizard... When I lived in Quail Valley (near Perris) and had a Bengal cat that liked to hunt, and a pet door... I came home one night and started to get in bed and a big lizard ran out from under my pillow (and caused me to let out a good scream!).
  15. Ya know... I'm not that in to going to concerts anymore, but this one I might just want to see... especially after watching "And All That Could Have Been" - WOW! (and after seeing him in concert a couple of times to know that he puts on a damn good show!) Oh, and I found the easter eggs on the DVD... first I found the one that you get to through "Starfuckers" but then I found one that gives you a menu of all the easter eggs, including a live version of "Reptile" and a video of "The Day the World Went Away"... pretty cool. (But I found these by searching the Internet... How the hell would anyone find these without knowing about them???)
  16. Keely, you need to check out the studio cut of "Past The Mission" by Tori Amos. It's an almost-unmarked duet with Trent Reznor and unless you're listening really close, have headphones, or a really exceptional set of speakers, you'll almost never hear him. Great. Fucking. Track. Period. Run, don't walk, to go pick up her Under The Pink CD which has that cut.
  17. Umm..... What???? Glad to hear Elsinore is not closing... but I always enjoy reading Nick's posts. Thanks, Nick.
  18. Yeah it would... But you go first.
  19. Hmm, I don't know about that... I'm afraid of heights. Oh, and I'm afraid of Alabama too. (just kidding)
  20. Then I think these people need to be taught that they should get lots of information from many different sources... not simply that they shouldn't take advice from other new skydivers. Thinking that your instructor is God and that he/she knows everything is also a pretty dangerous mindset to be in (IMO). I think one of the most important things to realize when you first start jumping is that there is no one person that knows everything, and that some of the most experienced skydivers disagree with each other about certain things (so you need to hear all sides and make up your own mind)... Of course, if they really don't have any common sense then they're not going to make good decisions based on any information... so they should probably be discouraged from skydiving - and perhaps even grounded at the dz if they present a serious danger to themselves or to others. (Yeah, I know... most dz's are not going to do that.)
  21. I now have a 7-10PM class every Friday night for the next four months. You guys would all be passed out by the time I got there! Maybe a Saturday night though...
  22. I don't live in the burbs! I don't live in the burbs! Ok, I guess I do.... How the hell did I end up living in the burbs? You want me to make plans for a day in March??? I am barely capable of making plans two days in advance! But I will probably join you guys if I'm reminded at the time.
  23. I never liked that term either. It sounds really condescending... The "belly flyer" term annoys me too for some reason (even though I've hardly done any RW). And Nick: "Old Timer" doesn't sound so bad... The important thing is that you're still here for us to call you something. And I'd be willing to bet that you've been called far worse things a few times in your life.
  24. The Queen Mary is there (http://www.queenmary.com/). It was recommended to me as a good place to go, and it looks interesting, but I haven't been there yet... Also, the Body Worlds 2 exhibit will be open in LA during that time. The first one was really good. (http://www.californiasciencecenter.org/Exhibits/Weingart/BodyWORLDS_2/BodyWORLDS_2.php)
  25. I seem to remember USPA helping the dz's a few years ago and I don't recall anyone complaining: I don't know enough about the Skyride issue to have an opinion on whether they should be involved or not, but the 9/11 shutdown was the first thing that came to mind when you said that USPA shouldn't be helping DZ's. I was certainly glad they were involved at that time because I was pretty much out of work during the shutdown (since I worked at the dz).
