Yeah, I've tried to buy long (over-the-knee) boots before but they never fit right. The ones I linked to are stretchy, so I thought they might have a better chance of fitting. I will probably have to order online, because it's hard to find shoes in my size (5.5) in stores (especially non-mainstream-type shoes).

Well if I buy the DVD, I'll let you borrow it. I'll watch it first of course to let you know if it is acceptable viewing. (Some of it sounded a little hardcore for me too.) That's funny, Rich and I were wondering the same thing when we were talking about going... I did go to a movie once where my friend Bruce and I were the only ones in the theater. We were dancing in the isle some, and then one of us went and sat in the back while the other sat in the front and we yelled back and forth to talk to each other. (Yes, we are silly.

We were planning on going to see that movie last night, but I wasn't feeling well so we didn't go. That was the last night it was showing out here, so I may just order the DVD... But when I went to Amazon to look at the DVD, of course it brought up all of these other things that I might like (similar items)... and I found so many that looked interesting I couldn't decide which ones to order! The main reason I wanted to go to the theater to see it is because I was curious to see who else out here is going to see such movies.

That's true, he should have told them the pros and the cons... But that's true of any career. There are many jobs that could compromise your sense of self-worth, spirituality or morality that have nothing to do with the sex industry. And there are people who work in the sex industry that have not compromised any of those things.

You guys are lucky to have that stuff available over there. That stuff works great... We don't have any decent painkillers in the US that you can buy without a prescription. I find that watered-down Gatorade (or other sports drink) is good for a hangover. I fill the glass about 1/4 with Gatorade and then fill the rest with water. Hangovers suck... Hope you're feeling better!

That's interesting... But in the US, people use the term as if they are referring to the size of the bottle... like "I drank a whole fifth of whiskey last night" and they are obviously referring to drinking quite a bit... so I had just wondered how much that actually meant... Most recently, I heard someone talking about a guy who died after "drinking a whole fifth of booze"... so that really made me curious...

I'm sure that not everything on snopes is correct, and I don't know anything about the golf guru... If you saw it at the Museum of Edinburgh, there is probably a good chance it's true... Who knows, it sounds good to me...

Silly question, but I honestly don't know the answer... When someone says a "fifth" of whiskey (or whatever kind of liquor), what size bottle are they referring to?
