That's funny... I was thinking about this thread yesterday too... I was at the movies and some idiot's cell phone rang during the movie and they answered it and talked for a minute. That had been mentioned in this thread but I had never actually seen it happen before (but then I don't go to movies very much).

4 or more...

There are a couple of things I can think of that I've never told anyone about, and probably never will. (No reason why anyone needs to know. ) But I do actually have two different skeletons in two different closets, as you can see...

Were you going to post "The Art of the Quickie"? http://tantra.com/quickie.html

Yes, I have... but I haven't quite been able to convince myself to sell the BASE rig yet...

I think you can order one from Basic Research. http://basicresearch.com/

Well, after asking for advice about these three movies... We ended up going to see the movie "Ray" - about Ray Charles. (The times didn't work out with the other movies.) Wow, what a great movie! It was really well-made, and the music was great. A lot of it was pretty sad and depressing though... brought tears to my eyes at least a few times.

That's funny... Maybe they should reconsider their little speech, because that line probably opens them up to all kinds of rude comebacks. I haven't talked to people like that in years now... because I pretty much don't answer my door anymore unless I am expecting someone... Though I do have a funny picture in my memory of someone coming up to me at a stoplight asking for donations for their church... and I'm sitting there with my dark shades on, top down on my convertible with the all-red interior and the glittery red devil head hanging off the rearview mirror... and the stereo cranked really loud with Nine Inch Nails song "Heresy" playing... "God is dead and no one cares... If there is a hell, I'll see you there!" Unintentional of course, but perfect timing... I just smiled at him and he went away.

This link might help you... especially the section on trolling. http://www.dropzone.com/cgi-bin/forum/gforum.cgi?post=142088

Well I was an inexperienced 10-year-old. If it had happened a few years later, when I had reached my smartass teenage years, I'm sure I would have had something really nice to say to them.

Hmm, that's a good idea... I remember some Jehova's Witnesses (or some kind of religious freaks) scaring the crap out of me when I was 10 years old. I was home all alone one evening and the doorbell rang... Not sure why I answered it, but I opened the door and there were two men standing there. One of them looked at me all seriously and said something like, "If you were to die tonight, do you know where you would go?" Maybe I had been watching too many horror movies, but for a moment I was sure these two men were about to kill me. Anyhow, then they handed me a brochure and started talking about god or something... but after they left I went around checking all the windows and doors to make sure they were locked and I was kinda freaked out until my parents finally came home. (And they thought it was funny... because I didn't usually scare easily... but those dudes were creepy.)

Damn... I got all excited for a second, thinking it was going to say that it was now illegal to talk on the phone while driving (for anyone). Of course if that was the case, I'm sure it would have been all over the news and I would have already heard about it...

Hey the Real world is just about to start in austin

Well I have to admit that's a good one. -

Ok, I can understand hating the Real World... but I love Austin (not necessarily everyone who lives there, but there are assholes anywhere)... I've lived pretty much all over TX, and it is by far my favorite town (though I like most of TX). You're right, it's very different from the rest of TX... But if you're gonna be puttin' down my Austin pals, then I'm gonna have to keep sayin' "Bite me." -
I just realized "Beyond VANILLA" and "VANILLAskygirl"... Hmm, maybe it has something to do with Rosa! Rosa, Sorry you can't make it out. I'll let you know if it's any good. (Of course, if they're showing it out here, they've probably already shown it everywhere else in the world!) I will (supposedly) be in LA this Sat. or Sun., so PM me if you have time to hook up. (I know we're both bad about making plans, but I have a cell phone now... so I can be more spontaneous. )

Oh, bite me. I saw they were doing a Real World Austin, and I'm wondering how many of my drunk Texas friends will end up on that show (making asses of themselves, of course). -
Here ya go, Slappie... Up for a pillow fight? http://members.lycos.nl/maxime12/hpbimg/mercurius%20slappie.jpg

Better than being a green one.

Got this one searching on "Aggie Dave": http://www.thewaterglass.net/rocky!%5b1%5d.jpg ??? Don't ask me why that one came up... but it's cute.

That's pretty funny... I looked at Yahoo images, and this one was on the first page (kinda funny pic): http://www.robotmonkeylab.com/Monkeyshop/Shotguns/Pappys%20shotgun.JPG This one's cute too: http://hj.to/a/ww/shotgun.jpg But I'm not looking through the rest of those pages (it brought up a LOT)!
-
Somehow I think Shotgun would turn up way too many images, and probably nothing particularly funny (well, maybe if you sift through them). But at least they would probably be images that you would like.
-
Wanna come out here and go to the movies with me? (Looks like tomorrow is the last day it's showing out here.)
-
Sounds exactly like the kind of movie I would like.
-
That one looks like the better of the two that she suggested. I don't really know much about Phantom of the Opera. It looks like it's a romantic story, and I don't usually care much for those (unless it is done really well).

I don't know... I'm guessing it has something to do with icecream??? I'm pretty sure this particular friend won't be interested in that one, but I think I'll sneak off later and see it.
