  1. Nah, she's just pretending to enjoy it... Isn't that what women are supposed to do? Umm, I believe it was one of the standard background pics that came with Windows Server 2003.
  2. Hmm, maybe I have found a new girlfriend for sudsyfist. Too bad he is no longer around though...
  3. You mean it's possible to have sex somewhere other than on a bed???
  4. This particular line makes me think that everything else the author has to say might be a bit over-dramatized as well. And this line too... I just can't agree with anyone who tries to blame the US's obesity problem on the fast food industry.
  5. Dude, that is just SO much different than a woman being pulled onto the stage at a strip show... if you can't see that, then I don't even know how to begin to explain it to you... But of course, if you touched me in such a manner on a public bus, I'd probably have my knee in your groin before you got anywhere close to pulling up my skirt.
  6. I agree... she wasn't technically doing anything wrong... I was just pointing out that thinking above and beyond what is generally expected will sometimes allow you to avoid a bit of hassle in life... since life is imperfect and all... But legally, I do believe that she is now owed something for the inadequacy of the authorities in this case...
  7. No, her profile was not one of a drug smuggler... But me, personally, the way my mind works... I tend to want to avoid hassles, whether they be justified hassles or unjustified hassles, so I probably wouldn't put condoms filled with flour in my suitcase because it would actually occur to me that an airport security guard might mistake it for something that it is not... and while that seems a bit stupid on the security guard's part, I would just rather avoid the situation than have to deal with it, so I would leave the flour-filled condoms behind. But again, she didn't deserve to be held for three weeks while they figured out that it was only flour; missing her flight might have been acceptable, but anything beyond that seems to be a failure on the part of the system. And even if they caused her to miss her flight, they should have been responsible for getting another one for her... But even so, common sense would have helped her to avoid the hassle in the first place... Though I do think that she is justified in suing them for the harm that was done to her due to the failure in the system.
  8. Are we talking about you as a prison guard, or as another inmate? (The prison guard scenario might be somewhat enjoyable... )
  9. And I agree with that (for the most part - though I do believe that some people have the ability to get out of their own head, or at least to get _things_ out of their head)... but spending 20 years in prison for something that you didn't do would leave quite a lot of painful memories in your head too (well, it would for me anyway). I am in no way trying to downplay the horror of rape, just saying that to me a life of wrongful imprisonment sounds like it could be equally horrific... though it's pretty much impossible to compare the two.
  10. Exactly. Fair enough that they thought she had drugs and tested for them. Not fair that their inadequate "field tests" caused her to be held for three freakin' weeks before they could figure out that it was only flour. Now you would think that someone in college would be smart enough to realize that it's not a good idea to carry flour-filled condoms on a plane (because of the obvious implication), but it is not illegal and should not have turned into quite the ordeal that it did.
  11. I dunno. I guess it's good enough if you're not that innocent man. I don't have an issue with the death penalty. I have an ISSUE with locking up/killing innocent people. Yeah, there was a recent thread (the rape thread, I believe) where someone said that they would rather be wrongly accused of something than be raped... And I was thinking I don't know about that... Depending on the extent to which the "being wrongly accused" affected my life (such as ending up in prison for many years), I'm not so sure it would be a less unpleasant experience than rape. Prison sounds pretty horrible to me; I can't even imagine how horrible it would be to go to prison for something that you didn't do. But I also realize that asking for perfection from humans is pretty much impossible... Though 1 in 1,000 doesn't sound like "good enough" to me; I think we could do better than that.
  12. I am addicted to the dots... I can hardly write anything on the Internet without them... It's been driving me crazy in school though, because I have a really hard time making myself not use the dots when I am writing essays and such... But on the 'net, the dots seem to convey what (or how) I am thinking better than when I write in a more formal way... And I get mildly amused at the thought that it might be driving someone crazy...
  13. I just have to say that the argument that this thread has turned into has got to be one of the funniest I have ever seen on here. Who would have known that people could argue for so long about the meaning of whipped cream being licked from your ass crack? And somehow I'm guessing that you had no idea this would end up as a debate in Speaker's Corner when you originally posted it.
  14. Way too many personal questions for me to answer honestly on some strange website. I'm probably not worth too much $ anyway, since I'm a little high on the mileage.
  15. Yeah, I think they just need to remove the word "annoy." If not, then there are a lot of posters on here who will soon be going to prison. (Of course, I don't have to worry about that because I never annoy anyone. )
  16. I don't think that this is true for everyone. Some children will watch what their parents do and repeat the behavior; others will analyze their parents' behavior and decide that they don't agree with it and they won't repeat it. I grew up with parents that argued a lot. What I learned from being around that was that I didn't want to be in a relationship that involved a lot of arguing, and now I am in a relationship that does not involve a lot of arguing. I have respect for my parents, but I never assumed that the way they did things was just "how the world works." I do know people who are like that though; they're usually the ones who use the phrase, "that's just how I was raised," as the reason why they do certain things or hold certain beliefs. (Of course, that might include both good and bad things.)
  17. Why do I find it hard to believe that, of 119 votes, I'm the only one who came here to stalk the hotties?
  18. I probably wouldn't mind a commute that involved riding a train - that would definitely be more fun than sitting in traffic. But I have never lived anywhere where a train was an option for getting to work. I did have to take the bus to work for a couple of weeks once when I had totalled my car, and that was sort of entertaining (though a bit too time-consuming to be a long-term option). Luckily, I rarely have to sit in traffic with my current schedule, so I don't hate my commute... except for one 4-way stop that sometimes annoys me, but mostly I try to laugh about how many people don't do it right... Of course, it was nice when I lived where I could walk to work, but that is a situation that seems to be rather difficult to arrange...
  19. Oh, maybe he was waxing it... I was trying to erase that part of the message from my memory.
  20. WTF are you talking about, woman? Saying things like that, and "may he rest in peace" had me checking his profile for posts (december, last ones) and the incedents forum (didn't find anything). It's got me worried. If you are going to call a person essentially dead, please explain why... It has me worried too. Now I'm wondering where he is??? Oh, ok... I had a voice mail message yesterday from Steve, saying something about the death of sudsyfist but that Steve was alive and well... and something about him "mowing the lawn" that I didn't really need to know about... so I am not worried anymore (well, at least not about his physical well-being).
  21. Yes, I have an addictive personality... but that is all that I'm going to say about that.
  22. Yeah, I think they might need to have a bit of your brain as well if they're going to see what you saw... The eyes wouldn't serve much purpose without the brain.
