That reminds me... "I got friends in low places..." Man, I have lived all of these lyrics, and so many more... ("Comfortably Numb" most recently when that was playing on the sound system while the dentist was numbing my mouth. But that song has been a theme throughout my life...) And to add some more lyrics that I have lived...

Ok........ as long as you and my husband........uhm....... Wait, what happened to our heterosexual agenda!!?? Edited to say: Oh, and BTW... this is the first boogie that has really sounded like fun to me, for some strange reason... I am hoping to get to go to it, but even if I don't, I think it's a pretty cool occasion!

You REALLY need to trust your partner to pull the pilot chute for you.... I trust my Cypres. (Oh wait, I don't have one...)

Hmm, how about the Bondage Boogie? Do I really need to say why?

I'm an atheist, so I don't believe in heaven at all. I also don't think that religion is necessarily a bad thing, but I think that it's important for people to realize that their particular version of religion is no more valid than the next person's. Of course, I don't think this is possible for certain religious beliefs, because the very act of acknowledging the validity of another religion would invalidate their own beliefs and make them a sinner - and I think that is when religion does become a bad thing.

Isn't that what windcatcher just did a few posts ago? So are you saying that she is not a Christian, even after that whole "proud to be a Christian" thread?
-
I'll have to say "Amen!" to that.

With a daily ritual like that, they'll be meeting up with God pretty soon. Or Satan.

Thanks, Ken... But as I sit here trying to understand God by altering my consciousness with Sleepy Time chamomile and hibiscus tea, I can't help but wonder what I am missing out on with that DMT stuff... Ok, well actually I'm just wishing that the damn tea would make me sleepy, as the name implies...

I figured someone would call me on that, but it just sounded better in the title to say "I have decided to become a Christian" than to say "I have decided to become a member of O Centro Espirita Beneficiente Uniao do Vegetal." And they did say that they had some Christian beliefs... But religions are all pretty much the same to me anyway...

My first (and so far, only) tattoo is on my shoulder. While I like the look of tattoos, I'm not the type that enjoys drawing attention to myself, so I would probably never get a tattoo in a place that wasn't easy to cover up when I wanted to. I like the way they look on the back of the neck, but even that is too visible for me... I think I want my next tattoo to be more about the experience, so I'd like to find an artist that I like and have them design something for me - just a simple but meaningful design, not really a picture of anything... and I think having it done the traditional way, preferably somewhere other than a tattoo parlor would be nice... with dudes in loincloths dancing around and chanting and, oh nevermind...

Are you accusing me of being a troublemaker??? I'm innocent, I swear...

Hmm, I guess after being in Yahoo's news headlines today, his site is probably having a little more traffic than it can handle... I'm getting a "server busy" message now too... Maybe that is a sign that I should get to that homework now.
-
This is his response to that question: So he says he does... and I believe him.

There's some good stuff in the news today... http://dresskevin.com/ But of course I should really be doing homework instead of dressing some dude on the Internet...

Yeah, I know... But I'm still trying to figure out why it's ok to use dope for religious purposes but not for recreational purposes... (but then, in my mind, they are pretty much the same thing).

It looks like Yvonne does nice work... Do you have a pic of your tattoo?
