  1. Nope. You called me a spinner (whatever that means), so I'm not sharing my "real woman" with you. I don't think you could handle her anyway.
  2. Well, everyone seems to think she's my girlfriend . . . and she is easy on the eyes (but not so much on the liver).
  3. Take away, take away Take away this ball and chain Well I'm sick and I'm tired And I can't take any more pain . . . Oh, and I'm a bit socially distorted too.
  4. Orange juice is good with rum. And maybe some other juices too.
  5. Here's a picture of it landing in Lake Elsinore: http://www.nctimes.com/articles/2007/10/25/front/photo_fire1.img
  6. It's hard to keep up with all of the fires. I just saw in the news that one broke out in Wildomar a few hours ago (just down the road from us), but it is out now. The skies over our house are now so full of smoke that it's hard to tell where it's coming from, though I think most of it is from the Fallbrook area. We're starting to get a layer of ash on top of the layer of dirt that blew in over the weekend.
  7. And actually the Fallbrook fire looks equally close to Perris, but to the south. And there is another fire about the same distance to the west, but it doesn't look like any are too close to Perris (or Elsinore).
  8. Probably the closest fires to Perris are those in the San Bernardino area, which is about 25 mi. north of Perris. (Sorry, I'm not Bill, but I'm answering you anyway since I live close to Perris. )
  9. I'm about 70 miles north of SD, on the 15, so it's probably not a good idea to drive down there (if the 15 is even open). I've been looking for something locally that I can help with, but so far I haven't found anything, and unfortunately I can't donate blood. I do have some free time because my classes have been canceled for the week, but the local evacuation center doesn't seem to want any more volunteers or donations (other than cash). Anyhow, that's great that you are helping out. And if anyone knows of anything I can do to help in the Temecula/Murrieta area, please let me know.
  10. I just saw this in the news: and this: From http://www.kpbs.org/, but they don't seem to have any more details.
  11. So far, we are fortunate to be reasonably far away from any of the fires. Here are some pictures I took this morning from Murrieta. One is from our side (south-facing) window, and the others are looking sort of southwest from the hill behind our house. The smoke appears to be coming from the Fallbrook (Rice Canyon) and maybe the Camp Pendleton fires.
  12. My mom always hated that wallpaper. She eventually replaced it. I think it was more 70's-ish with the burnt orange and all.
  13. Who mentioned shoe fetishes? Is there any kinky stuff that you're NOT into? And aren't you supposed to be in Albuquerque? Or is it just really boring there?
  14. Pimpin' Slut (real name) And what a cute avatar you have.
  15. Well, to be fair, some of this guy's efforts have been just a little bit important.
  16. Yes, to some extent. But I don't think that there are many "pure breeds" of humans left, so it would be difficult to assume which attributes a person might have without knowing their personal genetic make-up (and what that means). Hmm, I'd like to defend him and say that what he really meant was that their way of thinking is different than ours (which it likely is, in a general sense), but after reading some of this other quotes (such as aborting if the baby is determined to be homosexual), I'm a bit disappointed in Mr. Watson.
  17. Well, you could always invite Tae hoon to come check out your other bed.
  18. That could possibly beg a question - but I'm to polite to ask it...! No need to be polite around here; this is SC after all. But if it has anything to do with my nickname, I ain't sayin'! (Hmm, why do I get the feeling that it has nothing to do with my nickname???)
  19. Because they're fun... But I don't really want one right now because I don't have much time to play with it.
  20. Yes, I agree. Which is I why I am not pushing to make it illegal to spank your children. Well, I don't want to shock children. My original point was that I don't see much difference in that and spanking (other than the societal aspect). And from my perspective, you just really don't understand. (Funny how that works on here! ) Edit in response to your edit: Yes, the 30-year-old thing was mostly intended as a joke. And I suspect that you and I would agree on one thing about this spanking stuff(?): Whether a parent chooses to spank their child or not is nowhere near the top of the list of what makes a good parent (if it's even on that list at all).
  21. Cool. I (and I'm sure lots of other people) learned those things without being spanked. And I could say a lot more on that, but . . . Mild electric shock probably would have worked in a similar manner for you as the spankings did, but being outside of our society's norms, people are going to be more freaked out it by it (even though it is no more harmful). And interestingly, it is more socially acceptable to use electricity on our pets than to spank them. Though in that case, I believe that's because electricity has proven to be effective whereas spanking has not. (And of course dealing with a dog or cat is much different than dealing with a human.) (Oh, and the 30-year-old who is afraid to cross the street for fear of being spanked by his mom is probably a little less "adjusted" than the 30-year-old who is careful when crossing a street because he might get hit by a car.)
