  1. After they have: a) jumped out of an airplane, and b) partied with SkyMonkeyOne. Anyone else who calls themselves a skydiver is really just a poser.

Ah... How I miss those days.... Well, I wouldn't want you to corrupt your innocent little mind with some of the disgusting pictures I have on my computer. Oh wait, you're the one who sent me those pictures!

Yes, they can. But what's even better is that they are able to access all of the porn files on your computer as well.
  4. No matter where I live, I'll always be a Texan. I've got the longhorn skull in the livingroom, and my mannequin's even dressed like a cowgirl right now.
  5. That's what I've always suspected. (If it happened at all.)
  6. I think Obama will win in Texas, but I can't vote in your poll since I'm not a Democrat or a Republican.
  7. I used to own a condo with an HOA. I just read through the documents myself. They weren't too hard to understand, and I never had a problem with them. If you have any questions, I'm sure the HOA could answer them for you. I don't see any need to hire a lawyer. It's not like the HOA is trying to trick you into anything; it's to their advantage that you understand and agree to the bylaws before joining them.
  8. I only use one email account (just one log-in), but I have a lot of different addresses that are aliased to that account. That way I can use the aliases for most things, and if I start getting a lot of spam to one of those addresses, I can just delete that address without it affecting the rest of my account.
  9. I don't know what Samoas are, but the Caramel deLites and the Thin Mints are my favorite, in no particular order. But the Thin Mints used to be better, before they made the cookie part chocolate. (Why do they take a great product and change the recipe???)
  10. Not til I read this, but thanks for the visual. Have fun, JP!
  11. Come on, Chelle, even if you didn't know that it would end up being deleted, you seem smart enough to figure out why it went missing. So why create extra work for people here when you could just let it go? And BTW, I hope it doesn't seem like I'm trying to run you off, because I'm not. You're a fun person to have around here - I'm just expressing my opinion on this one issue. It's gotta be getting old for the moderators to have to keep explaining this stuff, especially to the folks who have been on here for a while.
  12. Umm, could you clarify exactly what you mean here??? Oh, and no, that part of the book didn't scare me. But then I have nothing to lose.
  13. A lot of these "questions" are from people who intentionally started a thread that they knew was going to get deleted, just so they could start a thread to ask why their post was deleted (as if they didn't know) and continue to whine about the moderators. Seems like childishness to me. Perhaps this thread is an exception, as it seemed to be an honest question, but most of the "why was my post deleted"-type threads just seem to be trying to challenge the moderators. At least that's how it looks from my perspective.
  14. Oh, and one of the funniest lines in the movie: "Where did she come from?" "She came in through the bathroom window."
  15. Of my four cats, Monkey has the biggest stink fetish of them all... He especially loves to lick my sweaty feet after I've been wearing Teva's.
  16. True. But I don't think that sangiro should let his site get overrun with threads about feces (or whatever similar subject) just because he's afraid of a potential lawsuit over deleting some of those threads. Of the forums I use, this site has less moderation than any of them. I certainly don't think of the moderation as being "heavy-handed" here.
  17. The ending was ok; I guess I was just expecting a more elaborate finale, especially after the more elaborate scenes at the beginning of the movie. And (for obvious reasons) I had been expecting a scene with "Lucy in the Sky"... So when he looked up at her at the end, I thought ok here it comes... And yeah, they did play the song, but over the freakin' credits! (Though that was some cool footage that they had along with the credits.) Anyhow, it was still a really good movie, and I give it a 3.5 out of 5. (I am allowed to use halves. )
  18. Just so you know, Bill, I'm planning on voting for you again in the next moderator elections. But I'm contemplating running against sangiro for the Head Honcho position. I do have the advantage of boobies, after all.
  19. Not yet; I was ready for bed by the time the movie was over. But I'll watch the extras before I take it back.
  20. We finally watched this movie last night, and overall it was a highly entertaining film. I was glad to watch it on a widescreen projector though, because it wouldn't have been the same on a smaller tv screen. There were some really cool musical numbers with fun visuals and great music. (Well done on covering the Beatles' songs.) One of my favorites was the army recruiting number with "I Want You" as the score. And having them carry the statue of liberty during the "she's so heavy" part was pretty clever. I also liked the cheerleader singing "I Want to Hold Your Hand," walking dreamily across the football field as the guys were tackling each other all around her. That scene was cracking me up. I don't have much to say about the sociological perspective though - sort of typical "war sucks" kind of stuff. Interesting that they would choose to put it out right now, because it made me think more about Iraq than Vietnam, and I wondered if that was part of their intention. The story started out pretty good, but it got weak towards the end, and the actual ending was sort of blah. The musical numbers also got less spectacular in the second half, and it just sort of had an unfinished feel to me. So I was a little disappointed in that, but I really enjoyed watching it anyway.
  21. Is it possible to consensually cheat on someone? I mean, if they know about it then it's not cheating, is it? (Yes, I'm just being difficult.)
  22. I don't mean to change the subject, but... Does this actually happen? I thought that a license was always required to (legally) sell alcohol?
  23. Ok, I guess I owe beer now, because that's the first time I've ever seen her do anything funny. But Jimmy's response is even funnier.
  24. Yes! Because of myspace, I am in contact with so many old friends who I had lost touch with over the years, and I love it.
