  1. That would be Vinko! (And yes, I did get it.) Is there anything that is not on YouTube these days. Here it is: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N4n3z7QmMNU Try not to worry about the things you have no control over
  2. Whatever normal is, I assure you I am not it. and neither is anyone else from the skydiving community. Try not to worry about the things you have no control over
  3. One of my best friends in high school was black. But I would imagine you would never believe this. Do I need him to contact you for references. Good Grief ... What am I doing here, talking to Keith Olbermann? Try not to worry about the things you have no control over
  4. Yup ... too much fog. They are saying Monday now, but Tuesday or Wednesday is more likely. Try not to worry about the things you have no control over
  5. ROFLMAO ... found it. I may not always agree with Jon Stewart, but he is definitely one of the better ones out there. Too bad we have to resort to comedy to get our news these days. Keith Olbermann ... good grief, who's got the straight jacket. Try not to worry about the things you have no control over
  6. ROFLMAO ... nope censored again by the CRTC ... actually this other site just links back to the Daily Show and this is the URL the CRTC does not want me to have access to. Jon Stewart is on Canada's Comedy Network station and it was through the Comedy Network that was able to find Ian's video reference since this show was only a few days old. But the Comedy Network search feature appears to be busted and I could not find your Keith Olbermann video which is too bad because watching an Olbermann rant is almost as funny as Jon Stewart. Stupid ####ing CRTC ... Try not to worry about the things you have no control over
  7. I was able to find Ian's video from a different site, but I can not find yours. My government feels I should not be allowed access to "http://www.thedailyshow.com". Thank you CRTC for your censorship. Please sir can I have some more. If it can not find it on YouTube I guess I am SOL. Try not to worry about the things you have no control over
  8. Your video URL does not work in Canada. Not your fault. I live in a country that believes in certain forms of censorship. Is this from the show on Feb 11th? I may be able to watch it on a different site. Try not to worry about the things you have no control over
  9. Stay out there in left field dude. You do not know what the fuck you are talking about with your accusations of racism. Try not to worry about the things you have no control over
  10. I think I sound like a broken record. How many friggin times must I repeat myself. The most qualified person should be given the job regardless of their race. Try not to worry about the things you have no control over
  11. I few years ago I started a new job with a fairly large corporation. On day one they had me fill out a series of survey questions. One of the questions was "Are you a member of a visible minority (this would include African American, Native Indian, East Indian, Oriental, etc, etc)." I could not believe it. But being new to the company I did not want to rock the boat, so I answered what they wanted me to say which was "No". Now I bring this up because in my local area of the city I live in, I am NOT part of the dominate race. Walk around my local grocery store and 10 out of 20 people are Chinese, 6-7 out of 20 are caucasian and the remaining 3-4 out of 20 are some other race. Now don't get me wrong I am NOT oppressed by the Chinese nor do I feel that I am disadvantaged. But the world is changing. People from all over the world are emigrating/immigrating to various western countries. The stereotypes of yesterday do not fit the reality of today or tomorrow. I have no problem if a Chinese person gets the job offer ahead of me. I know the Chinese are very smart people and they are very hard workers. The bottom line is that the most qualified candidate (regardless of their race) should be the one given the job offer. Try not to worry about the things you have no control over
  12. I like the part about "I am not an Africa America. I am an American". Try not to worry about the things you have no control over
  13. ROFLMAO ... what did you do to my car? You Smorsched it. Try not to worry about the things you have no control over
  14. I hope you realize that if you had access to another TV station's opening ceremony feed, half of the things you disliked about the show could have been eliminated. Just because NBC portrayed the ceremonies one way does not mean everyone else was given the same message. Locally here CTV covered the event live (unlike NBC who at least where I lived covered it 3 hours after it occurred). Yes I saw some of the things you disliked on CTV, but Bob Costas and the politicizing of Iran was not on the CTV broadcast. They basically just showed the ceremony as it unfolded "live". BTW the ceremony had it's glitches. Some worker inside of BC place was probably off smoking a dube and not doing his job when it was time to raise all 4 cauldrons inside the stadium. That was definitely one part of the ceremony that was botched. But I liked most of the music/dance performers and while I must be in the minority, I did like the different rendition of the Canadian national anthem. 15. I was 8 years old living in Montreal in 1976 when Nadia Comaneci burst on to the scene. My family had tickets to a number of Olympics events (numerous Soccer games, Gymnastics, Judo, Cycling and Volleyball) and I got to see Nadia perform in one of the preliminary events (not the medal rounds when she scored her 1.00s ... LOL). But my favorite event I got to see in at those games was the women's volleyball gold medal game. Wow they were good ...
  16. You are a delusional Leftist who walked right into the basketball trap. You think I give a damn about basketball? Good grief ... I will say one thing though about the people running the NBA. They are not delusional Leftists. They know race is not an issue in their sport when it comes to employing people. They know not to implement brain dead policies like "Affirmative Action". The NBA gives jobs to the best basketball players in the world regardless of their race. BTW Spare me your crap about slavery. First off it does not apply to me. Wrong frigging country. The country of my birth did not practice this slavery you speak of. Secondly I was not alive when slavery took place. I had nothing to do with it. Stop living in the past. The world is changing everyday. "Affirmative Action" is racist. Give the jobs to the people who are most qualified regardless of their race. I don't know about your environment, but where I am I work with people of all different races. Try not to worry about the things you have no control over
  17. What the hell does trying another sport have to do with your racist beliefs? Try not to worry about the things you have no control over
  18. If it looks like a duck and quacks like a duck, then it's a duck. Affirmative Action is racism. Anytime someone is disqualify from a job solely because of their race, it's racism. Jobs should go to the most qualified candidates regardless of their race. Try not to worry about the things you have no control over
  19. Good choice, definitely a classic. Try not to worry about the things you have no control over
  20. Tell us about your favorite classic Olympic moments. I will start us of with this men's downhill racer Franz Klammer YouTube video from the 1976 Winter Olympics in Innsbruck Austria. It is one of many classic Olympic moments. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sYj9kIxAL_o Well before I go I must also acknowledge another classic Olympic moment. The 1980 US men's Olympic hockey team. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CGACsSW4Iqw&feature=related Tell us your favorite classic Olympic moments ... 21. You missed Julie Payette. Not an athlete but a prominent Canadian. That wasn't KD Lang. It was Michael Madsen. Not sure how he hit those high notes though. Seriously, she did a great job with that song. Try not to worry about the things you have no control over
  22. Hopefully you won't hit me. BTW interesting selections concerning the flag and flame. Donald Sutherland - Betty Fox Barbara Ann Scott - Jacques Villeneuve Romeo Dallaire - Anne Murray Julie Payette - Bobby Orr carrying the Olympic flag Rick Hansen Catriona LeMay Doan Rick Nash Nancy Greene Raine Wayne Gretzky lighting the cauldron inside and Wayne Gretzky lighting the external cauldron and I never knew Michael Madsen had such a beautiful woman's voice. Oops that wasn't Michael, it was KD Lang. Sorry I could not resist. She does have a fantastic voice. Try not to worry about the things you have no control over
  23. Originally I never would have believed this, but here is a crash test video that shows the Smart car is safer than some may think. However don't try this crash test at home. You probably won't survive. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ju6t-yyoU8s I still like Porsche ... Try not to worry about the things you have no control over
  24. Good opening ceremonies!!! and there was some incredibly good looking healthy female athletes from all countries in these ceremonies (I am sure there were some good men too but I was too distracted to notice). I just finished watching the Canadian TV's ceremonies and LOL now NBC is running them on time delay. So I can check out the female athletes again. Try not to worry about the things you have no control over
  25. Clearly it is getting too dangerous to attend sporting events where mascots are performing. Video evidence of a dangerous Mascot. It is time that mascot be banned before someone else dies. "The horror, the horror" - said in my best Marlon Brando voice. or should we just start a Mascot registry? Try not to worry about the things you have no control over
