    First:4:0 First multiple-jump day that I stood up ALL my landings......probqbly won't make the lead for the NBC Nightly News, but it was a personal goal I'd been trying to hit for a looooong time.

    This is one of the few periods of time I have available to catch up here, and too much traffic makes the site slower. I expect I'll get 100% compliance on this. Why ? Because skydivers have proven time and time again that they are all about helping fellow skydivers. This request does not apply to the weekends, of course. Thanks y'all !     I want to do a "spatter-and-drip" job on my Hawkeye.... 1) Do I need to scuff-sand beforehand to get a good bond? 2) What kind of paint should I use ? 3) Will I need to fog-in a clearcoat afterwards to keep it in place ? I thought someone here might have experience with painting cars or boats with gel-coat.....I've practiced on plastic and liked the effect, but don't want to ruin my new lid if I'm wrong.     Has "Cardinal" always represented the color, and not the bird ? I thought I had seen the bird on one of their uniforms back in the 70s....seems like i noticed it because it was of a more traditional look than the Louisville logo.. I know about the tree. Another interesting fact....when I post from home, a photo of me is my avatar....when i post from work, it changes to a Red Wings logo.....but I don't change it myself.     You must have me confused with some other handsome, studly guy.....my only trip to SGC was Oct. 13th, 2002. I remember it well....I got to do jumps with you, Phree, and Jess on my birthday, then y'all ditched me on the way to the restaurant. (...I still think that was planned by Jess and Seth, though....)     I'm sure I've ridden a plane or two with Paul, but I didn't know him.....I wish now that I had, because given the tremendous emotion I've seen his friends expressing here, he was obviously a helluva guy. I'm not much of a praying man, but it hurts me to see y'all hurting like this. Be strong for each other, and continue to be there for each other.     Well, I have been working out.....but I refuse to shave my legs. Hell no ! You're the one who got stuck with got lucky enough to hook up with Sethica.
