    I was on active duty from '77-'81 no official conflicts going on but we sure had the F-4's loaded for bear on alert a lot when we were dealing with Gaddafi or shadowing the soviet fleet around the Med I can't join the VFW (no W's at the time) but I certainly consider myself a veteran You can't be drunk all day if you don't start early!

    I had someone ask me if it was OK to leave 1 or more votes blank. I told them yes if you have no idea about the candidate or amendment please do not vote on it. You can't be drunk all day if you don't start early!

    I'm more on the fence about the window tint issue. Enough cops are actually shot/killed during traffic stops that I think a reasonable argument can be made that they should be able to see what is going on in the car. Also when the tint is too dark it compromises the driver's ability to see clearly, especially at night. Don my buddy got pulled over and ticketed last week for having tint that was darker than allowed. he said the LEO approached the vehicle with his hand on his gun. He told him that it was a danger to him (the LEO) because he could not see what was going on in the vehicle I have ridden in that truck at night. Maybe it is my old eyes but it was harder to see.(he even has a lighter tint on the windshield) You can't be drunk all day if you don't start early!

    apparently his sister is my business partners neighbor. She hit me up with an e-mail yesterday with a link to the news article. She says she has known he was going to do this for a couple of months but was sworn to secrecy. very cool keeping it secret until it was accomplished You can't be drunk all day if you don't start early!

    This has been a big issue in Orlando. article here. the City says "A spokesperson for the city of Orlando said that the ordinance had its origins in complaints from residents and business owners about trash left after the food distribution, public urination and concerns about crime." and "Food Not Bombs could obtain two permits a year for each of the 42 parks in downtown Orlando, for a total of 84 large group feedings a year. The ordinance does not put restrictions on group feedings outside of the downtown area" the food not bombs group says ""The idea that every week we have to move to a different part of the city and that people have to find us just doesn't make any sense" I can understand the complaints from the businesses in the area. The issue gets worse in the winter as we see an increase in the homeless population. You can't be drunk all day if you don't start early!

    totally agree with this... like the fake scratch off tickets they sell at the novelty stores why is it funny to see someone get excited just to get disappointed a few minutes later never did get that You can't be drunk all day if you don't start early!

    Agreed...it is part of the charm. There is no charm when all you do is reply to Marc's posts with a question. Then he answers and you pose another question. Then he replies and you ask another question. Then he replies and you reply....with a question. My initial post about your glasses was a lame (I have to find another word) attempt to stop the bickering... Now back to the topic at hand...which...was...um...oh yea, all conservatives are racist, liberals love to race bait, Rush is wrong about something, Canada rocks, I like men and their sunglasses drive my lust for certain ones. to be fair some of those replies are not easy to decipher or maybe I just ain't smart enough to figure them out You can't be drunk all day if you don't start early!

    Irrelevant. His sunglasses are way better. True, in a walmart sort of way. I would much rather see this kind of back and forth than the kind you and Rush keep getting into. I realize it is speaker's corner (and I have a choice to read the posts or not) but damn you can go around and around and still end up at the same place you started ETA: the walmart comment was funny
