Here are some raw data. thanks most of the white lynchings in the northern states were for being negro sympathizers You can't be drunk all day if you don't start early! -
and that's only in the Southern states of course that is where the majority of the lynchings took place but there were several in the northern states also You can't be drunk all day if you don't start early!

Yes that's what I'm talking about. We were at a black sand beach in Martinique (see attached). It would be great to sail up in there and spend a day or 2 on your own boat. You can't be drunk all day if you don't start early!

Thanks for the detailed reply. We have only owned small boats. Bass boat and john boat types. No sailing experience except for 30 years ago when we were Boy Scouts. I think the little sailboats were called Sunflowers. We were recently on a cruise and we saw a lot of private boats in the ports we hit. We thought it would be fun to get a boat and make our own cruises. We figured we would rent one a for a long weekend a few times to decide if we liked it enough to buy a boat. From what we saw you cannot rent one without the certification. Even if it's not required maybe a good idea anyway so we feel comfortable on our own. Maybe it would be a good idea to rent a boat with a skipper first to see what is involved. You can't be drunk all day if you don't start early!

So after our recent vacation my brother is thinking about buying a 40' Catamaran. The first step would be to get certified so we could rent one a few times to even see if it is something we would enjoy. We found a course in Ft. Myers Florida. It is around 5k for a 7 day course. This would include lodging and the certification course and my wife would stay "free". Any one ever taken one of these? Is there a better/different way to get the certification? Is it as much fun as it looks? You can't be drunk all day if you don't start early!

Foreign? Less foreign than Texas, I suppose. When I was there a passport wasn't needed to enter the islands, but it was required to come back to the USA? yeah I thought about that after I posted Puerto Rico isn't really a foreign country either You can't be drunk all day if you don't start early!

That is true and it was imported to the north by the southerners coming to work in the factories. Bit it was not all about religion. The clan leaders played on peoples fear of the immigrant and the newly freed blacks taking away jobs the "real Americans" should have. You can't be drunk all day if you don't start early!

Just how many of those southern whites in the lynching days do you think were anything but Christians. Were Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, Texas... hotbeds of Islam or Hinduism? Perhaps but nothing in your links claim the acts were done in the name of Christianity. There were also a lot of lynchings, tar and featherings etc. because " we ain't gonna let them animals come take our jobs oand move into our neighborhoods" I think it is quite different than the atrocities being committed in the name of a particular religion. Just my opinion. You can't be drunk all day if you don't start early!

Not too sure about that one. We already have issues with the "go on green" mentality thanks to GPS. I don't think we need any new excuses for exiting without checking the airspace below for clouds and traffic. Focusing on a clock inside the plane makes it impossible to focus on the important stuff outside the plane. We would do better to simply teach people to count properly - out loud if necessary. Practice makes (nearly) perfect, so maybe some good ol' practice is in order. did not think about the distraction. we had a swoop du jour competition a few years ago your 3 team mates left then you had to wait 5 seconds before diving after them. You were responsible for counting the 5 seconds on your own. Fastest time to the formation wins. Watching the videos we had jumpers counting anywhere from 2 to 10 seconds before diving out. You can't be drunk all day if you don't start early!
