You should check out the Swordfish soundtrack, some really good techno on there, particularly track 2. "The Word" by Dope Smugglaz. Im also a big fan of Massive Attack and Faithless.

Where can i get the ring tone? -
Forgot to say, I'm Irish and was eligible to join because my dad was born in England, There's also a South African on the squadron. Im pretty sure any citizen of the commonwealth is eligible. Just throwing out another option for ya, but it is fairly cold here and the place is full of brits.

I just got accepted into the university air squadron here in Bristol(England). Basically, I do my degree, and at the same time complete the first 60 hours of military flight training(and get paid for it

Im really sorry to hear about your uncle man. Ill be thinking of you and your family. Im still waiting to find out about two friends, one went back to Jakarta (Indonesia) and the other home to Sri Lanka for christmas. I hope everything turns out ok for all who know someone caught up in this . -

Yep, and I think its great. You can go out clubbing and wake up in the same clothes the next day not stinking of smoke. My mates who smoke also like it cause they get to go outside and mingle (pick up chicks). Plus a load of people i know have cut down on smoking as a result of the ban.

Rest in Peace Margaret. Your life was worth more than a thousand of those shitheads. They'll keep the fire burning in hell when they get there.

Im in the process of applying at the moment, passed the interview and now i have the medical in 2 weeks time. As for traditions, im spending this weekend at the base for 'Novemberfest' but I think thats just a tradition of the squadron I've applied to.

Man I'd love to kick Ivan's ass. My car is totalled and most of my friends have lost their jobs and some their homes. My boss had no insurance and there was about $500,000 of damage to and looting of scuba gear where I worked (Cayman Islands). Fingers crossed Gene slows down.

Why not?? It's a pee country

Nice one man, what did ya get??

I wonder if that might be because at 21 they are still being treated like children. I don't consider myself a kid, I'm 19 and it always gets me when I hear Americans my age refer to themselves as kids. Most that I have met do not have nearly the same level of independence that I and my friends back home have. Maybe its just the ones I have met (great people by the way), but they behave very differently to what I am used to.

My grandad left ireland having joined the royal air force at the age of 16 using his older brothers birth certificate. I think he was still in basic training in 1944 though. My great uncle was fighting with Italian partisans, i believe after he escaped from a train carrying POWs captured in North Africa, not sure of the exact dates and he died several years ago so I can only hear the story second hand

Thats exactly what I think.....well put. Once the novelty wears off and its just a normal part of life then there's no peer pressure, drink if you want to. Dont like the taste?? Have a coke.

I was talking to one of my mates who is currently traveling south america about the prospect of heading to the southern US sometime in the near future. We both really want to go there. We were talking about all the mad stuff we could do. See the Grand Canyon, eat hot dogs, rent an SUV, drink some beer......wait a minute.....BEER???? Is'nt the legal age over there 21?!!! Thats freakin terrible......so we have decided to postpone our trip for at least 2 years Not because we NEED alcohol but I think I would resent being treated like a child and being unable to get a pint. Anyway......just wondering what you all think about it. What should the drinking age be?? Personally I find 21 outrageous, surely if your old enough to vote, drive, have sex, smoke, and fight in a war your old enough to have a beer........
-
and I only ever met one of them but I'm gonna agree with ya there!!
-
Thats quality

hmmm........suspicious as it sounds.....I'm 19. What the hell, live dangerously

Never really thought a whole lot about it. I just turned over my drivers license and saw the organ donor part and signed it. I just figure if they arent doing me any good then someone else might as well have them.

HAHA!!! I made a joke when I was heading through georgetown. I told the examiner that if i was going to fail I was taking a couple of cruise shippers out with me. He didnt appreciate the humour

So i just took my Cayman Islands driving test. Got into the car and the examiner lights up a smoke!!! Tells me to head toward Georgetown so I proceed sticking to the speed limit when he sais "this limit is too slow lets take it up a bit". So now I'm doing 40 in a 25 zone!!! He sees a friend of his on the footpath and tells me to stop. Starts shouting out the window at this guy then tells me to make a 3 point turn and head back to the licensing department. The whole test lasted about 12 mins. Needless to say I passed. Now its off to work with a smile on my face
