yeah the boogies really got pressed together this year. sorry i couldn't make it up hixx i had 2 midterms on monday, yeah i'm taking summer classes. so i worked with some first jump students saturday before the rain and then studied on sunday. our boogie will always be on the weekend of june 15th. Geoff died that day and we will always have our memorial then. glad to hear your guy's boogie went well. maybe i'll see you this weekend. chris

i've ridden the plane down a couple times due to weather, a number of times with a student and a time or two when i was the only jm at the dz and couldn't afford to waste time packing. then there was teh one time that i rode the plane down for fear. we have a 182, i was sitting behind the pilot, we're at bout 9k or so and all i hear was dave tell everyone "put on your seatbelts we're going down" the plane goes into a dive to the right, g's pick up, drool coming from people's mouths, then we leveled out... i was in tears, yes i admit it, i thought i was going to die that day. i hadn't heard the rest of the "we're going down" i had just assumed something had happen. we were going down because the clouds were closing in and REALLy quick! they managed to get 3000 and the 3 others go out. i was so shaken up that i didn't get out and rode the plane down... communication is very important, especially if you have students in the plane. i wasn't a student, probably had 150 jumps or so. remember fear is what keeps us honest

i've rode the plane down once with a student because his radio crapped out on him in the plane and just the jump before he lost radio contact. i know that students shouldn't be relying on the radios, but he got really spooked. he was going to get out and i could tell he didn't really want to. i told him there is no shame in riding the plane down and told him i'd ride it down with him. he smiled and said thank you. it was teh right thing to do, i feel better that i did ride the plane down with him and that he understands that skydiving is about the love for the sport and people, not how many JM tickets you can accumulate over the weekend. i would much rather ride a plane down for a student than persuade them to get out. skydiving isn't for everyone, it's not like golf where if you miss you're ok.

sooo ummm i have a yellow cable a grey cable and a black cable and on the back of the modem i have a spot that says put yellow cable here, grey cable here and black cable here. but what do i do? yeah the night's not getting any better and i'm not going to get to go home early either

i've never jumped with mine in. doesn't seem like a good idea. i keep them in for teh ride up and then take them out before i put my helmet on. i want to be able to hear my dytter and all that. i would probably freak if i jumped with them in. the different sound of the wind etc would freak me chris

well when i started here it was a challange, i enjoyed my job, i could actually work an 8 hour shift and not mind it. now after more than a year it's the same ol shit different day, the problem is that the people are just getting dumber and dumber... the challange has gone away and all the trouble shooting has left, now we're just assisting people who are idiots after the new software came out...

omfg how can people be so freaking stupid. i swear i'm going to shoot myself. i've been at work for 2 hours and i just want to reach thru the phone and hit them on the head with their computers!!! I work at an inbound computer call center for a company i won't say or i'll get beat up. these fucking people are idiots, did the world tilt and all the idiots managed to end up in one loaction? wtf? this idiot created his uid as his password and then couldn't figure out why he couldn't connect, then i had to hold his hand and help him connect. he then couldn't figure out how to spell the domain he's using. i'm just going to kill someone today!!! can you say I D 10 T error?
