Quit being such a geeky math wizzard the poll is also not accurate i think based on the number of males/females who a)read the post b)decided to reply to it if we were to single out 100 of each and have them reply honestly, then the results would be different. there are also about 25% more votes from males than females. -

AT&T has a vnc program that would work, but the problem being, i can't download anything onto the computer or install from a floppy. we don't have admin rights on the computers to do that stuff... they know we're computer dorks and would install linux is we could -

their reasoning is that we're using too much broadwidth playing java games and going to site we're not suposed to be going to. so they're going to reinstall the windows game packages with the new images on our computers. -

lol was reading thru the formus I've missed over the weekend they inspired me to post this. I took a class called "Physcology of sexual behaivor" a couple years ago and they had an interesting fact Woman are most likely to forget their first partners name than men are. But men are more likely to forget the date and or how old they were. I remember the girls name, we're still friends actually, the date and how it went... 5/30/96 I was 14. So... what are the statistics? -
where to stay for Eloy over Xmas and other qu's on the boogie...
kansasskydiver replied to Newbie's topic in The Bonfire
fly into pheonix it's closer. high alt last year was $25 and i think the balloon jumps were 45-60 i can't remember parties are good at the dz there is a city close to eloy, casa grande i think, there are stores etc there. the dz has the bent prop to eat at etc. there are some hotels, but camping out isn't too bad, just make sure you don' set up your tent over a rock in the middle of the night and then wonder why your back hurts in the morning -

WOW!!!!! This canopy is freaking amazing. It kinda opens like it's gonna smack ya, nice and soft (or i'm just having nightmares) and then it just snivels as you control the canopy with harness inputs. Amazing canopy, truely amazing. I only got 6 jumps on it this weekend due to the weather, but we'll be jumping tomorrow and then over the weekend. I do think though, or just haven't found the sweet spot, that the comp cobalt swooped a bit farther. I'll be able to test it out better tomorrow. Chris -
My Grandma isn't doing too well, they believe she has cancer and that the tumors are shutting down her liver If you are religous, please say a prayer for Blanch or send your vibes. She means the world to myself and my family. Thanks everyone Chris

Comp Cobalt 2 week review
kansasskydiver replied to kansasskydiver's topic in Swooping and Canopy Control
I do agree with Dan on the fact that someone loading a Sabre 1.2 would feel safe on a Cobalt 1.2 It is a very docile canopy and can hadle a lot. Keep in mind I did land the canopy with a partial malfunction (Brake line not releasing) and was able to control it with rear risers and other inputs. I would have let someone with 150-200 jumps jump it, it's friendly until you make it do what you want it to do, then it's amazing. Just need softer openings for me to be sold, still an amazing canopy! -
Comp Cobalt 2 week review
kansasskydiver replied to kansasskydiver's topic in Swooping and Canopy Control
From my experience with the "flies big" situation, the cobalt 170 "felt" like a 190 or so. I have 350+ jumps on a 170 and there was a noticable differenct in how it felt. The canopy itself though was the same size, atleast from packing it and the putting it in the bag etc. just my experience -

So it's Friday, I'm kinda hung over, i walk into work and here's next weeks schedule on my desk Monday - 2 hours OT Wed - 1.5 hours OT Friday - 1.5 hours OT ok what's the problem with following my freaking schedule of availbility?!?!?! Maybe that means something, ya know, college student, homework, group projects etc... My scheduled availbility is 10-5, not 10-7 with no lunch. Bastards, I swear I'm just going to walk out of here today. If anyone needs help removing their stupid Yahoo! DSL software, let me know, I'd be MORE than happy to assist you with that Chris -
