OK, I don't mean this to sound like I am bragging, I am simply PUMPED is all. About 6 weeks ago I recieved a promotion at work which included a 7½ percent raise. This was followed by my being hired by the client, for same pay, which includes a bonus structure that can be as high as 21% of my base pay. While this was most cool my wife has done one better. She has accepted a postion with another law firm which includes a 30% (OK 29.52) raise in base salary. On top of this the bonus structure is way better. IF she bills out the same hours as the current firms "expects" she will receive an addition $5,000 a year. Currently I can not sleep and keep giggling like a little school girl. Quick background stuff: I work on the side for a company that makes computer game creation software. I skydive. I have an idea for a small game that I wish to incorporate into a rigging website. I am looking for additional ideas / comments. Game premise thus far: You are a pack-monkey who is getting 5 bucks per pack job. (no offense) You must keep up with the jumpers in order to make money. Each jumper has the potential to: A - tip B- give thanks C- remain neutral D- bitch at you E-Kick your ass After a jump each jumper will need to be told where to drop their rig. You then need to assign time to the pack job by holding down the mouse button on the rig. The faster you pack the higher the chance of a problem. Openings range from: A - Great opening B- Snivel C- Average opening on heading D - Average opening in a turn E - Hard opening on heading F- Hard opening in spin G- Line twist fixable H- Line twist (cut) I- Line over (cut) J - Bag Lock (cut) K - Blows up (cut) The more dramatic the opening the more upset the jumper will get. Game format: Topdown view of the packing area (thinking hanger). Each jumper to have small avatar Each jumper stores their "mood" Each pack job to convert packing speed with opening and adjust jumpers mood. Manifest avatar showing time to next plane with chance of stepping load times up or down slightly. Basically I am looking for: Additional "things" that can happen to the pack-monkey. How can I make the game become harder as you play? Should the game play for a fixed time with a score at the end or should you "win" (earn enough cash to become a skydiver) or "loss" (get your ass kicked a couple times) Any other ideas you might have. ------- D.T. Very cool. I was a bartender at a place where the customers stood 3 deep at the bar in order to get a drink. The fire marshal stood at the front door counting heads due to the shear volume and we made tons of cash. Needless to say the place was busy. One night the DJ was in the middle of a fight and had to leave for medical attention. The bar manager spun on his heels, pointed a finger at me and then pointed at the DJ booth next to the dance floor. I was scared #@%^less but did it anyway. Very fun night. I was then in the rotation for DJ duties along with bartending. Fun Job, great cash. Of course now its all about the "career". ------- D.T. Holder SIMstudy

I really like Netflix. I am sure I don't watch enough movies to save much but the hassle of getting the movie and taking it back at a brick & mortar makes this mail service great.
