The last couple of boogies I've kept track of a ride and room sharing thread in Bonfire. I think most people end up being taken care of. We have some pretty nice members here.

Awesome, thanks. Sounds like it'd be cheaper to stay in the bunkhouse than it would be to buy a tent and sleeping bag :D Paying a packer would be nice, but I'm new enough so I'd rather sacrifice a few jumps a day and get better at packing for myself, especially on my budget. Thanks for hte help... lastly, I'm guessing it shouldn't be TOO hard to find someone I could ride with from the phoenix or tucson airport (whichever costs me less FF miles to fly into), to the DZ and back, or so I'm hoping? cavete terrae.

I know it's way way way way off, but it's going to be a hell of a financial stretch to go, so I'm planning in advance... 1. Any suggestions on what to look for in a tent and sleeping bag? 2. Is there somewhere I can get access to power and/or internet for a couple of hours every few days to charge my mobile phone and perhaps check email with my laptop? 3. 50 jumps in 7 days - doable during the boogie? 4. Is there somewhere I can get basic groceries on the DZ? Bread, sandwich meat, etc? 5. Any ladies wanna share a tent? cavete terrae.

I think when my rig gets here, I'm gonna do a full altitude jump, and then dump at around 6-7k so I get some time to play with it... of course, that's gonna be FRICKIN SEPTEMBER cavete terrae.

Here ya go.. It's all ready to ship to you (or VSE) .... Myself and my rigger also hung the canopy up and did an inspection to note any damage today.. You'll be happy to know that the canopy's still in good condition Whoohoo! Then again, with 109 jumps on it, I'd be worried if it weren't in good condition Congrats on the new canopy, when's the first jump?? cavete terrae.

My new canopy will be going directly from nate to VSE, so when my Infinity arrives in mid-late September, it'll be packed and ready to jump cavete terrae.

I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong, but articulation refers to the use of rings at certain points in the harness, instead of big blocks of webbing. These rings are usually at the chest and/or hips. They tend, I'm told, to make the harness a lot more comfortable, especially on the ground and in the plane. Some say the chest rings can detract from the ability to make harness turns. cavete terrae.
