TN Skydiving will only be open on Saturday, the 20th. Probably because Mike has another DZ to run as well. So now you can either stop by The Farm on your way to TN, or make a few more jumps at SDA.

Nah, "first day" should be a Friday or a saturday, so I'd jump either saturday or sunday morning. What time do you guys usually turn first load? cavete terrae.

Sweeeet. Right now, the plan is looking like I'll go from Naples to Thomaston on the first day (probably the 20th). I'll make a stop in Zhills to make a quick jump while I break for lunch, then straight shot to Thomaston after that. Day 2 (21st): Get up, make a jump at Skydive Atlanta, get on the road. Stop at Tennessee Skydiving, make a jump. Try and make it to Paducah, KY for the night. Day 3(22nd) is going to be long: Hit the road, stop at the new KC Skydive Center, then all the way up to Sioux City, IA. There'll be a nap stop or two on this day I suspect! cavete terrae.

More than likely it'll be next weekend. It tentatively looks like I'll be flying into Naples on Wednesday the 17th, then leaving Saturday morning. I'll jump at Zhills that day, and make it as far into GA as I can before I run out of energy. Then I'll get up, drive to Skydive Atlanta, make a quick jump, and get back on the road. cavete terrae.

According to Google Earth, I should take I-75 from Naples, then I-24, then I-70, then I-29. There are intermediary steps in there, but that's the gist of it. I need to think of how much time I can realistically spend behind the wheel (more in their car than mine, due to massive comfort level differences ) on any given day + jump(s), so I can figure my stopping points each night. Alternatively, I could just drive until I'm tired, and find a hotel. cavete terrae.

I'll be flying into FL on the 15th I think, but I'm not 100% sure yet when I'll actually leave, since the grandparents want me to hang out for a few days before I go. I'll let ya know, though! cavete terrae.

Looks like my grandparents are goign to fly me to Florida in a couple of weeks so I can drive their car from there to here while they fly up for the summer. That of course means I'm hitting dropzones on the way back! So, assuming I basically do a "hit and run" at a bunch of DZs, making a jump and getting back on the road, where should I go? Cities I'll be going through, or near enough to detour: Tampa, Orlando, Atlanta, Nashville, St Louis, Kansas City, Omaha/Lincoln. So, WHO wants to make a jump, and where?! cavete terrae.
