    ..I forgot how annoying they are Spent most of Saturday catching tandems (it was really windy and I wasn't comfortable jumping an unfamiliar canopy in the conditions, though I did do one), forgot to put on sunblock. Oops. cavete terrae.

    Title IX, it just means that there must be an equal amount of men's and women's sports, to receive federal funding (if memory serves). Basically it just boils down to if they want to add an official men's soccer team, they have to add another women's sports team. Men have American football, women have soccer. Men have baseball, women have softball, etc. My university did/does have a legitimate men's soccer team, of which I was captain. However, it was not Division I, nor was it NCAA for the matter (we were NAIA). When we added an American football team, we also added a women's tennis team. cavete terrae.

    I can't speak for others, but buying a used rig was difficult for me because of my size (tall + long torso), so I ended up buying a new container and reserve, with a used canopy. I had VSE build my Infinity to fit a 190 main, and then put a 210 on it. It was very tight but it worked for the 65-odd jumps I put on that canopy. I just put my new 190 in there and it's not nearly as evil to pack. Kelly @ VSE said I shouldn't have any problem going to a 170 of the same model canopy. So that's my story. cavete terrae.

    My way of thinking is that the canopy came with slinks, I should use slinks. Dave, interesting point on replacing the links at the same time as the risers. I'll keep that in mind! cavete terrae.
