My mistake. Couldn’t tell from your profile. Much respect to both of them. Seriously. One of my grandfathers died when I was 3. Never knew him. My other served as an Infantry Platoon Sergeant attached to the 4th Infantry Division. D-Day. 1st Wave. Normandy. Utah Beach. Wounded in action inland some time later. Shot in the hip. Healed up. Sent back to the front. Eventually assisted with the liberation of a concentration camp. Field promoted to 1st Lieutenant by the end of the campaign. Purple Heart medal, Silver Star medal, four Bronze Star medals.
