You sound like the cop who pulls you over for speeding. You admit to it and apologize. Everybody knows it was wrong. He hands you a ticket, but then feels the need to proceed to give you a five minute lecture on just how dangerous speeding is. Thank you.

I don’t remember. However, you are correct. It was not on any of the mainstream news outlets on TV. Obviously, as was stated before, it was fake. I didn’t realize it. However, I knew the story was real and that there was a victim. I mistakenly put the two together. And…I apologized. Move on?

Just closing it out (hopefully). I actually think I first joined in the 2004 timeframe. I quit the nonsense for a very long time. Deleted my account (if I remember correctly). Rejoined. Still didn’t participate much at all. Now…I am ecstatic that it’s going to die. It could have been a cool thing to be a part of except for the preponderance of obnoxious leftists. I tried for a very long time, in the beginning, to carry on polite sincere respectful conversations. That turned out to not be possible.

I lost any hope of carrying on a civil and productive conversation with most of the straight up assholes in here a long time ago. I just decided to put it right back in their faces in the (hopefully) last few days we have. The sooner this whole site dies, the better. We all have better things to do. Like rake the yard, fold socks, or something.
