You're comparing steel construction to with poured concrete flooring to buildings that are nearly literally brick shithouses. One a grain silo, the next concrete internal columns with concrete walls with concrete floors, the last hardly even qualifies for debate since it's notched to fall like a tree. Please post your understanding of how the WTC was built. The people who say that large amounts of explosives are needed are YOU and your conspiracy theory friends. It wasn't a complete destruction. 60 stories of WTC 1 and 40 stories of WTC 2 remained standing for up to 25 seconds before also falling. A planned demolition wouldn't just leave almost HALF of the building standing. So where does that leave you that it wasn't a very good demolition? I AM a mechanical engineer in the design of building systems and have equal experience to many people on this list. Wherever Harry was, it was a great place to be. I can hardly say any more than that because it says it all. There was some information that wasn't disclosed to the family in the initial report and it became grounds for the family and the Senator to challenge them on anything related to his case. The Navy has been on eggshells ever since. My opinion is that they should have just clarified their initial report and stayed with the KIA but instead it seems like they just thought it was easier to appease the family. Essentially, anyone willing to put their signature on the KIA would have spent a lot of time at the peak of their career dealing with a public relations fiasco. What's your question? I'm a backcountry camper but not a snob. I have fun car camping which is what most people mean by camping. In that respect, a bunch of gear is fun because you're bringing the fun barbecue and tailgate stuff to a campsite. With back-country it's the opposite, the less gear the better. You get what you pay for. Everybody wants cheap ass basement level airfares so why should the service be any different? That's a pretty poor excuse for poor service. If I'm allowed to pay less then will the stewards be able to use an actual cattle prod on me? Will the airport staff at Chi-town Midway just be able to tell me to "fuck off" instead of just giving me a look that says "fuck off"? This is a time when business owners are getting back to having a relationship with their clients - it's not about the lowest bid but the best product with the best service.
